Excellent Storytelling. A great plot filled with romance as well as steamy scenes and passion.

A must read!. An amazing read that I devoured in hours. Hooks you from the get go and leaves you wanting for more! Sexy, flirty, steamy with suspense and a twist. Highly recommend this read!

Very hot and steamy. When I first started reading this book I was wondering if I was going to like it. But as I started getting into the story I started getting pulled in and could not put it down. The story just keep getting more interesting as I read it. Now that the book is over I screaming saying I need book 2. Lauren Bradley was this amazing strong woman. She was CEO of Interstellar Corp. They were the second company in aerospace Technology but like all business it was a cut throat business. I love how we got a small glimpse of what she was like with her father and got to see her reasoning to be so power hungry. Trent I did not like in book. He was Lauren’s ex that could not understand that the relationship was over. I did love Tara who was Lauren’s best friend. She was super funny. I also loved Josh who was Lauren’s VP. He truly was a great guy and seemed very loyal to her and the company. I also loved Cassie who was Lauren’s assistant. She was a good friend to Lauren and I believe wanted to see Lauren happy. Antonio Forte was this amazing hot guy who was also the CEO of Cozza who was also the company trying to do a takeover of Interstellar. The problem was the company he wanted to take over was also the one that the one woman in it that turned his world upside down. The one thing I liked about Antonio was even though he was power hunger and an amazing business man he was also a man that knew he needed not to let his business define who he was.He believed in living. He truly was an amazing guy. I loved Lauren and Antonio’s first meet. It was very interesting and will later be very shocking to the other. Of course things will get very hot and heavy between these two and it seems like there is this amazing chemistry between these two. It is like fate is screaming for them two to be together. At ever corner it seem like they are running into each other. I like that there is some danger in this book. Yeah someone will not know how much danger they are in until it is to late. I saw it coming as I started reading and was screaming at this person to watch out. This truly was a great book and glad I got a chance to read this book. Trust me when I say Chelle Bliss does not disappoint.

Amazing.... even though you left me hanging!. I normally don’t read duets but I’m a huge fan of Chelle’s and she did not disappoint!! I’m in love with theses characters. Funny, and sexy as hell!! I can’t wait for the 2nd book!!

OMG!!!!!. OMG!!!! This was an Edge of the seat read for me. I love the strong character that Lauren is and how she has cracked the glass ceiling. Antonio is a sexy smooth talking businessman you want to hate but can't. He is going after what he wants and that is Lauren. I can't wait for the second half for these two amazing people.

WOW!!!. Holy holy wow. I'm on such a high from this book, but also holding my breath to see what happens next. This story starts out one way, with a strong, powerful woman going toe to toe (and then some ;) ) with a strong and powerful man. A man who, by the way, could get me to do anything he wanted. I'm just saying. Antonio is tall, dark, handsome, powerful & epic in all ways. And Lauren, well she's my hero. Strength and power in her own right, it's so awesome to read of a woman who can take on anyone, and surpass them. And please, the hotness factor is off the charts. And then you hit the end, and my heart was racing and my breath was gone and it felt like the world stopped. It was that intense!! I LOVED this book. I am counting the days until the next one is in my grabby hands!!!

WOW!!!. OH MY GOODNESS!!!! WOW!!! First of all, this is part one of a duet!!!! But don't worry, part two is coming very soon!!! This book/duet is going to keep you on the edge of your seat wondering just what twist Chelle Bliss can come up with next!!! It is a mystery wrapped in an enigma surrounded by a beautiful love story!!! The relationship between Lauren and Antonio is explosive from the very beginning (before they even know who each other really is). And once Antonio turns out to be Lauren's biggest rival, things get really interesting. But Antonio isn't willing to give up what he felt before business got in the way. And the story just gets better from there! I CAN NOT WAIT FOR MERGER!!!!

Just OK…. This book lacked heat and passion which made it boring to read. I will not be purchasing the second book.

Acquisition. 😍❤️😍❤️ Another Wonderful Story by this Amazing Author So Addicting, Antonio & Lauren’s Passion & Angst (mainly) from Lauren creates a compelling journey as they try to be together when Careers & Take Overs stand in the way. Antonio’s Character is a Real Romantic & never gives up on the lengths he will go in protecting Lauren. I waited until Merger was released until I read this Duet & I Absolutely Loved Them Both. Well Done Chelle Bliss I Truely Have Enjoyed all of your books & look forward to more in the Future. XO 😍❤️😍

Gripping read. Acquisition is the first book in the Takeover Duet and this book will have you gripped from start to finish, but be prepared it is a duet so you will be left hanging on the edge of your seat. Do not let this deter you as Chelle Bliss has already announced the second book will be released mid November. This is a one night stand between two people that end up finding out after the fact that they are enemies in business. Antonio and Lauren find it hard to fight the attraction they have for each other but what do you do when your heart tells you to stay and your mind tells you to walk away. With secrets surrounding these two on both a personal and business level what will it take to make them an "us" in reality. As Lauren fights her inner thoughts about what to do about Antonio it might be someone or something else that takes her choice away from them both before she makes a decision. Antonio will make your heart swell at just how much he is willing to do to show Lauren what she means to him. Love it when the female character in a book has the strength and determination to take on a male dominated world and Lauren is just that type of character. If you love a book with strong characters, drama, secrets, off the charts chemistry and a storyline that will have you hooked then make the Acquisition your next read.

Perfect start to a duet. Wow what a great start to a duet, Chelle Bliss has once again blown me away with her new 2 part series. I loved the characters especially Lauren Bradley who happens to hold a position that in most books is held by a man. Lauren Bradley CEO of Intersteller Corp , a company who are on the brink of releasing a jet engine that doesn’t use fuel as we know it. A bad day at the office sends Lauren to a local hotel bar where she has a few drinks, one drink leads to another and then a night of passion with a stranger. Antonio Forte is CEO of Cozza who are mounting a hostile takeover of Intersteller Corp...... A change meeting between two powerful CEO’s both determined to win, intrigue, a story that flows and some seriously hot scenes make this book a perfect read. I was hooked was the first chapter and I read it in one sitting, yes it ends on a cliffhanger but I understand we won’t be waiting too long for book two. Chelle Bliss has shown us just how diverse and talented she really is, great job great read.

Great book - loved it. 5 star Review Aquisition (Takeover Duet #1) by Chelle Bliss Be prepared this ends in a monumental cliff hanger......but, Chelle Bliss has already announced that the conclusion will release in late November. This is one of my favourite reads of 2017 and one I highly recommend. What happens when a one night stand, you never expect to meet again, turns out to be the CEO of a company determined to takeover the company you have given your all for? This is the predicament Intersteller Corp CEO Lauren Bradley finds herself in when uber Alpha Antonio Forte turns out to be the CEO of the rival company, Cozza Industries trying to force through a hostile takeover. Both are shocked to learn the others true identity but Lauren is determined to keep her company, particularly as a major breakthrough has just been achieved. On the other hand, Antonio sees no reason why they cannot separate business and pleasure. He is used to getting what he wants and he wants not only the company but Lauren too. What transpires is a story so well written that I was on the edge of my seat, totally riveted from start to finish. Antonio and Lauren are both strong, decisive leaders and a perfect partner for each other. All is not as it seems though as there is a mole at Intersteller Corp who is determined to bring both Lauren and the company down. The secondary characters, such as Lauren's best friend Tara were entertaining. Acquisition has it all; great chemistry, sizzling attraction, suspense, drama and intrigue. I have read several books by Chelle Bliss and I have to say that this may well be her best book to date. If I could have given 10 stars I would. I cannot wait to see where Ms. Bliss takes us when Merger releases in November.
