Cute. It was super predictable but a cute easy read

Hilarious and hot!. Bro Code is Kendall Ryan’s next sexy, fun, and swoony stand-alone. I love her books so much that I didn’t even read the synopsis so I didn’t know if the bro code was going to be about a sister or an ex-girlfriend. I was so happy when it was the sister. I would have read it anyway but that would had been a completely different story and I loved this one. Barrett hasn’t been home for a few years even though he only lives three hours away. That is how busy he is as a lawyer in Chicago. A lawyer who wants to be partner ASAP. His life is his career. He doesn’t have time to date. He rarely even has time to get laid. And that was definitely not in the cards when he was staying at his best friend’s family home for the long weekend to celebrate Nick’s father’s retirement. What he didn’t realize was that she was going to be there too. Ava. His best friend’s sister. The very one that he crushed on for years. She was a teenage dream before but now she was all woman. A twenty-five year old sassy, sexy, smart, and very off-limits woman. He was so f-... She was so screwed. Ava had lusted for Barrett before she even knew what the word meant. He was handsome, smart, and sweet. She thought she could handle being around him for the weekend. Now that she saw him, she knows she is in trouble especially after an unexpected run-in. Some flirty banter that she didn’t see coming. And a kiss that made her want to do a whole lot more. The problem? Barrett’s f- control when it comes to the bro code. She figures it’s better this way, they both have careers that take up their time. They both aren’t ready for love. They still have boxes to check off before settling down. Awe! I loved Barrett and Eva’s story! The sexual tension between them is thick. The reading is both hilarious and hot. The banter is so much fun. It’s not all about sex with these two. It’s more but is it enough when Eva finds out what he has been hiding? Overall...if you want to laugh, feel hot and bothered, and swoon, then this book is for you! I loved every minute of it and looking forward to Kendall’s next book. Quotes: “I'm not rushing you.” Dad gives my shoulder a fond pat. “I just don't want you to be alone. You've got a lot to offer a man.” “I'll put that on a sign next time I go up for auction,” I tease, and he chuckles before shaking his head. She shrugs. “I don't like being told what to do unless I'm naked.” Being near her after all these years, and seeing the woman she's grown into? It'd be impossible not to want her.

Bro code. Loved this book. Could not put it down once started. Barrett is my new book boyfriend. This book evoked all my feelings. I especially loved the strong family ties that existed between the characters. Bro code made me laugh, love, cry and appreciate family. Thank you for sharing your talent. Loved Barrett and Ava!!!. This is one of my favorite tropes, and it was everything I could have ever asked for!! Ava quickly became one of my favorite heroines. She’s sweet, stubborn, and refuses to let anyone hold her back on things she believes in. Barrett is sexy, and a bit obsessed with wanting to succeed in business, to the point where I wanted to smack him upside his dang head at one part, but luckily he pulled through and became the hero we love. This story had twists and turns in it, and there were a few characters I would have loved seeing get injured, but everything worked out for the best so I can’t complain 😉. A fantastic read that I would definitely recommend!!!

To keep the code or break the code?. Talk about being between a rock and a hard place. Barrett is I love with his best friend’s sister but he knows he needs to stay away to honor the code between men. Truly, I find that frustrating if someone is the love of your life, it shouldn’t matter about any code. But I appreciated Barrett’s loyalty as he tries to maintain his distance from Ava. Ava has lusted after her brother’s best friend for years. They haven’t seen each other but when they are reunited for a retirement party of Ava’s dad, well, the chemistry is electric and they both struggle, Barrett to uphold the code and Ava trying to get Barrett to break it. Ava is also faced with the challenge of running her father’s factory, a business that is faltering while Barrett is working hard to become partner at his law firm. Will the code win? Will life push them in different directions? I enjoyed the struggle for Barrett, Ava does a great job pushing all his buttons. When the drama ramped up, I was worried as I devoured every moment to see what would happen.

You Can't Always Stick to the Bro Code!. I enjoyed Bro Code. I liked being in both Ava and Barrett's heads and getting their take on things. I also like how their relationship evolves and becomes something more. I should have seen the plot twist coming, but I didn't, which made it surprising and interesting. Ava is a strong and determined woman, especially when it comes to her job. I like how dedicated she is and how much she cares for it and her employees. Barrett was very entertaining, especially everything going on in his head. He's a hard working, smart guy who thinks he knows what he wants from life. Him and Ava are a cute couple, with a lot of funny moments together, the shopping trip in particular was hilarious! Bro Code was a light and entertaining read mixed with some steamy and sweet times.

A beautiful romance!. A beautiful friends-to-lovers, forbidden romance! Bro Code was a sweet and enticing quick read. The story is pretty straightforward…falling for older brother’s best friend. Though the storyline may start out that way, the circumstances and relationships revolving around the characters are complicated and heartachingly difficult. Both Barrett and Ava have secretly wanted each other for years, but never acted upon their attraction for fear of losing the one person they both care deeply for, Ava’s older brother and Barrett’s best friend, Nick. The shared dynamics and characteristics of loyalty and selflessness truly shine throughout the story. As much as Barrett and Ava are drawn to each other, the unspoken “Bro Code” rule stands in their way. I can’t get enough of the author’s books. Touching, impassioned, and profoundly seductive, Bro Code was just another example of incredible storytelling and exceptional writing. This heartwarming romance is a for sure must-read for those who love swoony and fun love stories!

Sexy friends to lovers. Kendall Ryan is one of my few automatic one click authors. When I read a Kendall Ryan book I know it's going to be good and allow me to escape real life for a bit. Combine her writing with what might be my all time favorite trope? Well, you get Bro Code. A fun, best friend's little sister/forbidden romance? Yes, please. I really liked Ava and Barrett. I loved the connection that they had initially-and loved watching it grow and change. It seemed incredibly authentic. I could relate to these characters easily, felt their connection and shook my head as they tried to deny it. These are people I could see myself hanging out with and just having fun. The sex here was hot and steamy-there were definitely kindle melting moments. But there is so much more to these two than just sex. Watching them navigate their new relationship was incredibly satisfying. The pacing worked here. The plot worked. I enjoyed reading this Author's take on this trope. This was a fun book to escape with, and it was a quick read for me because I didn't want to put it down. I enjoyed this book and would absolutely recommend it.

Fun, Loving and has the Drama you need!. This is such a great book! It’s funny and has the moments where you feel the emotions that are coming out of the words. You can’t put his book down! The love story that you want to read and you know it will be worth your time! Perfectly classic. Best series to have! It’s definitely something you can re-read over and over!

Ava is the easy to love heroine, she is strong, sassy and funny and she has crushed on her brothers best friend forever, Barrett is the man her dreams and fantasies are always about but we all know brothers besties are off limits. Barrett is a workaholic trying to make partner at the law firm he works for in Chicago but he is getting to that stage in his life where partying is less attractive and settling down and building a family is what he might just be needing but the problem is the girl who haunts his dreams is no other that Ava his best friends sister and we all know according to the Bro Code that’s a no go area... Another masterpiece from Kendall Ryan, characters you will fall in love with, chemistry that’s sizzling hot and if love friends to lovers with a lot of humour you will want to read this book.
