Love it. So many things in this story reminded me of my life too. The big black greyhound that was shy, my one was called Big Tone. Also Cornwall, love it and have been going most years since I was young. The greyhound knowledge was spot on, and I was reading it whilst my black greyhound, Larry, had his head on my lap while I twiddled his ears. Great read.xxx

Easy read. Lovely easy read highs and lows which I guess we all can relate to, I couldn’t put it down and didn’t want it to end such a great book 😊

Simple joy. Loved reading this book of returning to the simpleness of slow life healing, but was expecting a more exciting ending more details would have been interesting. Still a relaxed couple of days easy warm hearted read

Heartwarming.. Loved this book. Great characters, likeable and easy to relate to. Had me from the very start. I laughed, cried and felt the pain of each character (even the dogs) who had their own sad back story. A real heartwarming read that I couldn’t put down and was sad when it ended.

Excellent read - don’t let the cover fool you. The cover made me think this would be a light and fluffy cosy novel. And in some ways it is, but it is also a deeper story about real issues dealt with in a sensitive but not exhaustive way meaning it is still an easy read with just a few tears.

Summer at Conwenna Cove. Lovely story of a woman that having problems, and with her life in an impasse, managed to find her way. It was great to see how life can turn unexpectedly, even after you think you got to a point in life where the future is set in stone. Everything seemed to happen very quick and the story line seemed a bit rushed, considering the short period of time the action took place. All together a great book.
