Sexy, Dark, and Suspenseful!. Torrid is the second book in the Sordid Series, but could definitely be read as a standalone. It is sexy, dark, and suspenseful! Vasilije is making his name as nephew and next in line to Serbian mafia crime boss. "He was the devil and tasted like sin. Dark, delicious evil." Oksana, the illegitimate daughter of a Russian mafia king, has an agenda of her own. She is a strong, resilient heroine. Oksana really learns so much about herself and as she grows and changes, she is the catalyst that changes Vasilije. "Looking at him was the same as staring at the sun. He was scorching. Beautiful. Fascinating, but I couldn’t do it for too long or I’d risk permanent damage." I loved this dark and exciting and HOT story! 5Stars!!

OMG.....LOVED IT!. Just finished reading Torrid and I'm in love with Visilije and Oksana's characters. I literally could not put my iPad down, it was that good. Nikki, you continue to put out some great book and I love you for that. Keep doing what you do best. 😘

I can’t put it down. Nikki NEVER disappoints. Every book is better then the last. I absolute love her. The way she makes you feel like part of the story is unreal. Leaves me breathless every time. I can’t wait to read more.

Torrid wins!. This the second book in the series, but you don't need to read the first one although you do see the couple from the first book. Torrid is a dark love story, and I loved it! Not as dark as Sordid (I read and loved that book too) but still dark. I loved the two main characters and how they grew together. How they both thought they didn't have a heart or feelings but found them with each other.

Very Intriguing. I wasn't really sure what to expect. However reading the sample had me intrigued as to where this story could go. It takes you on a wild ride for sure. Almost too much to take but carry on and read more. It's like two people discovering themselves and each other at the same time. It's well worth a read.

She conjured up a story overflowing with her unique brand of sex, sin and secrets. If you're looking for something sweet and fun, full of heart warming feels, keep looking. This isn’t your book. If you are looking for a book that pushes boundaries and makes you a little uncomfortable while driving you wild, you've found it! Vasilije is NOT going to win any "sweetest book boyfriend" contests. He might, however, win the contest for "Biggest Jerk Anti-Hero". Despite that, he stared to grow on me. Eventually. After about 100 virtual slaps upside the head. While technically Torrid is a standalone, I highly recommend reading Sordid first. Like Torrid, it is also dark and edgy and a little bit controversial. I really wish I would have had time for a re-read of Sordid to refresh my memory on some of the events. Vasilije is a secondary character in Torrid. He is the brother of Luka, who is the Hero (or again, anti-hero) of the story. You'll have a much better appreciation and understanding of Vasilije if you have read Sordid first. Here's the thing I love the most about Nikki's books. Not only are they some of the hottest and most erotic books around, but I always find something unique and special about the sexy times. Her special brand of erotic always includes something a little bit different or something you aren't expecting. I always think I've read it all, until I open a Nikki Sloane book and find myself thinking, "Oh! I've never seen it written quite like that before!" It makes me a little bit giddy to be honest.
