Sweet second chance. I loved this sweet story about two individuals who had pretty much given up on finding their happy ever after. It’s a very satisfying read!

Enjoyable read with great characters!!. This is a great read. The character are engaging and storyline pulls you in. Emmy and Cooper are like many of the books readers and very relatable. When love stepped in, they were drawn to it call despite their original intentions. I enjoyed this light weekend read and look forward to other books in this series.

Great, quick read. A quick read that I could not put down! This book tells the romance of Emma and Cooper, as well as touching on some of the other Crystal Cove characters. It reads well as a stand alone despite being book two, and I highly recommend it along with the rest of the series. I have not read a single book by Tawdra that I did not enjoy, this one included!

Great way to spend my Saturday. Thank you Tawdra! I finished this book within 8hours of downloading it. I haven’t read the Posse so it was my first time meeting these characters but they didn’t feel like strangers. I felt like I got enough of their stories to feel comfortable in their little beach town. This is a great story between two single parents who are a little set in their ways. It was fun watching them trying to stop themselves from falling in love. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review.

Fantastic!!. Steamy, sweet, and a happily ever after. This is one of my favorite books. Cooper is seriously beautiful and Emmy is someone I’d love to be friends with.

Hot hot hot. Emmy, Cooper, Crystal Cove equals a trifecta of goodness in this second entry in the Crystal Cove series. Both Emmy and Cooper have been burned by love in the past but this second chance may be just what they need. After a late night hook up leaves them both reeling from feelings, can they stay just friends? Even though this is the 2nd book in the series you really don’t have to read The Posse first BUT you should anyway. Not because you’ll be lost in who’s who, but simply because this is such a great series. You will not regret it. While you’re at it, pick up all the Tawdra books you can. Thank me later ;)

A decadent dessert of a novel. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I am not a fan of romance novels. With that being said, however, I enjoyed this quick read in the same way you enjoy a sinfully delicious pice of German Chocolate cake. This book is best enjoyed sitting in a beach chair with a fizzy cocktail in one hand. The author has a talent of creating realistic characters that draw you in. I’m also not a huge fan of series novels but I’m genuinely curious about the other characters in the novel. I’m not a prude but reading sex scenes is awkward for me, so I could have done without BUT she did a much better job of writing the love scenes than the 50 Shades of train wreck that I unfortunately read. So, summed up: a really good, quick beach read. Who doesn’t love a quickie on the beach?

It moved me to tears.. This book pulled at all my heartstrings and I was crying by the end. I so easily identified with Emmy because I have been in her shoes. A single mom of three trying to keep it all together and not leaving much room for yourself and your personal needs. Then there is Cooper, who thinks he is so awful at loving someone and being married that he should never try again. What happens when these two decide to be “friends with benefits” and can they make it work? You won’t regret reading this book to find the answer, but you might want a kleenex or two handy. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. I received an unsolicited copy of this book in exchange for my honest and freely given opinion. All thoughts expressed above are strictly my own.

I want to visit this place!. First off, the book is one of those that each chapter has a different point of view and I really don’t like those, that’s why a 4/5. However it was great to see both sides of the story. (I’m hard to please sometimes lol) the writing really pulls me into the book and I feel like I’m right there with them. I can’t wait to read more. The characters are well developed, if not a bit too much history but that is ok. Give it a try.

The Plan by Tawdra Kandle. The Plan by Tawdra Kandle Contemporary romance. 2nd book in the Crystal Cove series. Can be read as a standalone romance. I haven’t read the first book but the friendship formed were well prior to the series so I didn’t feel like I missed much although it was a lot of people to keep track of. There is a lot of background and history included in the first 50 or so pages. I lost track once or twice where we were in time. Alternating first person POV by Emmy and Cooper. Cooper is commitment shy. His past two relationships have made him decide he is not a people person. Emmy doesn’t have time for a romance but she’s always had a crush on Cooper. When he steps in to support her at the bar and then ask to go home with her, she decides to have that one time fling. Friendships and family make this romantic story a lovey read. A few sexy scenes add a bit of spice. A feel good happily ever after.

One of my favorites. I love the Crystal Cove series as a whole but this is my favorite book in the series. The characters are fantastic plus following the development of Emmy and Cooper’s relationships is magical. Highly recommend this steamy beachside read.
