Good enough. I absolutely love the plot twist, overall the story and the mystery is good, the author keeps surprising you and when you think you got it all figured, trust me u don't lol! But even tho im saying it's good, i just think it wasn't "smart" it was just unexpected.

Exciting!. I couldn’t put this one down. So twisty!

Not so much. Seemed less a clever story and more an author trying to be clever.

Worth pushing through. The interlacing of backstories in the plot is really well done. It took me a while to get hooked but I finally did about halfway through.

Great twist. The reason I’m not giving it 5 starts it’s because I didn’t really like/hot attached to the characters. I did love the twist and the ending.

It was ok, kept me guessing until the end. I liked the book, but it was confusing at times to keep up. The story lunes switched so often, and sometimes more than once during one chapter. Some of the details seemed a little done. But overall I did enjoy the book and the plot twists.

slow start but good ending. i struggled to get into this book because of the slow start. it was a little predictable in the beginning but towards the end there were a few good twists. i really enjoyed this book overall.

The wife between us. Terrible. Started off promising and entertaining, grew into something so horrendously written. The plot twists and changes of character were so flawed, and confusing. The characters almost seemed to jumble together. The dark haired woman was mentioned in the beginning, and struck me as the protagonist and the most interesting character... yet bluntly changed ship. Terrible transitions and so anti woman. The stereotypical weak woman, cowering from her abusive husband without any dignity, and no fruitful justice.

What Twist?. The only reason I stuck with this read was because the reviews led me to believe the twist justified the slow pace. It didn’t. Far more realistic fiction than thriller. No gratification whatsoever. It wasn’t a terrible leisure read, but it was a far cry from thrilling.

Twists!!. This book starts slow and slightly dull. But if you’re questioning yourself and who to root for, you’re about to get to the plot twist. I loved this book and completely devoured it. I thought it was extremely well written. I still think about it all the time. Such a good read!

Pleasantly surprised. I’ve grown bored with a lot of the new fiction,A lot lacking imagination. This one was different to every thing I’ve read lately . Every time you think you’ve figured the plot out ,you get hit with a curve ball. Extremely entertaining!

Not a good read. The book was too wordy. I skipped several paragraphs and still followed the book. I do not see the hype and good ratings this book received. I paid for the boom so I had to finish it

I’m still confused... I loved reading this book. Lots of twists and turns. I feel like the ending, literally the last 2 chapters just don’t make sense/clear everything up/resolve the issues. So I googled “I don’t understand how this book ends” and it told me to read the epilogue. Obviously that was another great twist but still left me with questions.

Rosy Thriller , great for passing time. The twists are great , the plot flows easily . Good for reading while on the plane.

What a wild ride!. While I was taken back by the far too abrupt revelation of the first plot twist, I was pleasantly surprised! The rest of the story just rolled on from there and I couldn’t put the book down. I enjoyed each chapter’s tone from the different perspectives. Just when I thought I’d absorbed all its goodness, the end pushed me right over the edge. Whew! Now I need an entire case of Raveneau wine haha! - Master P✨

Boring. There was no thrill or suspense for me. It was very repetitive. I struggled with the points of view and time lines, constantly trying to back track what was going on. The ending was interesting but I wouldn’t recommend this one to anyone.

Good. This was a good book. Not a great book but a good one. The first twist was AMAZING but it kinda went downhill from there for me. I finished it because I kept waiting for more huge twists….didn’t get them! It kept me interested just not invested in this book….on to the NEXT!!

What a complex book . .. As an avid book reader, I must say that this book comes really close to being a waste of my time and money. The back and forth from past to present, the character names . . you tend to forget who is who . . and the plot? It’s such a shame for a book to explain the entire story in the last chapter. Save your money.

Suspenseful, engaging and incredibly well written. Loved this book - it was suspenseful and engaging, and I had predicted a few of the twists. I don’t believe it needed to be as long as it was though.

Draws you in and then becomes a bit dull. The beginning of this book was fantastic. Draws the reader in and then presents a twist. However, from there I expected the same excitement and it never really came. Definitely a good book and I’m glad i read it, but a tad disappointing.

Disappointed!. After seeing the success of this book, and reading the synopsis on the back of the book, I was so excited to read this novel. It was a complete disappointment, and I have no idea how it got any more than 2 stars. This book drags on, and doesn’t really start moving until you are over half way through. I give two stars because the end did pick up some momentum.

Enthralling. Well written.. I would have loved to see a less scripted series of events? What if Emma didn't have the physical attributes which Richard found attractive?
