A fun read!. I enjoyed “Ghost of a Chance” from the very start. This book is fun and the characters are engaging. It’s a perfect easy summer read, and I found myself wanting to hear more as I finished it. My one wish was to have more ghostly presence in the story, but perhaps that comes in the next volume.

Couldn’t put down. I read my ebooks at night in bed with the lights out, and they usually put me to sleep in a fairly short time. However, reading Ghost of a Chance kept me awake and I couldn’t put it down. It flows quickly and easily. Cate weaves a great story. I’m looking forward to reading her other books.

Ghost of a Chance. Note: American is not a language silly. Americans speak English. Many of your so-called slang translations are actually English to French. Many of these terms are used in lots of English speaking countries including Canada and parts of the USA. I was amused by your book however and enjoyed the characters.

Cute, fun, but nothing to do with ghosts. They say not to judge a book by is cover but I did... and I figured this book would be amateurish and maybe boring but the premise intrigued me. Happily it turned out to be quite an entertaining read! The title and cover art are pretty misleading though as the story itself has almost nothing at all to do with ghosts. Read if you want a light fun murder mystery. Avoid if you’re looking for any kind of ghostly tale. ***SPOILER*** *************** The only ghost related things is that the lights flicker a few times but nobody is bothered about it. Apparently one building in the story is haunted but it has absolutely no bearing on the plot at all. And at the very end some random ghost is briefly seen, but again nobody pays much notice and they just get on with their lives.
