Love love love. I love this book with every inch of my being. I couldn’t stop reading it. The love connection between mason and freya is too die for I would absolutely read it again and I most likely will.

Couldn’t put it down. If I could give 10 stars I would. I have read all 6 of the free books released, and when I start one of them I can’t stop reading it until I am done. I haven’t read for fun in years, and beginning the self-care journey of reading for fun again with 6 amazing stories that can intertwine with each other but also stand alone was the best decision I could have made. The characters in this book alone make me want to read an entire series just about their lives, and that’s how it is with every single one I’ve read so far. Definitely worth the read! (Just make sure you have enough free time, because you’re not going to want to put it down)

Absolutely hilarious and refreshingly real.. Freya and Zander are really well developed characters that a reader can relate to. The dialogue and scenes are funny, charming and believable. I absolutely loved the self -referential scene that talk about how physically impossible some of the sex scenes in romances can be. I couldn’t stop laughing all day after reading that scene. It was so accurate! Freya is incredibly relatable as a character. I loved reading her story. And who wouldn’t want to end up with a guy like Zander?

Great author and story!. I really enjoyed Kate’s writing and the story.

Happily Ever After. I really enjoy this author and have read most of her books. Although BFF’d was good, I didn’t like it as much as her Special Ops and Homefront series. Looking forward to more!

Loved it. Great Book! I liked how the author developed the characters and allowed us to see their friendship and how they both reached their “Aha” moment at the same time. We all need a Mason in our life.

So many great lines, I can’t tell you how many times I laughed out LOUD, during this story. I’m glad I was home for this one, and not on a crowded plane. I probably would’ve sounded like a lunatic. Must read!!. This book was so sweet!! I love it when best friends fall in love and honestly I want it to happen to me haha. 😊🤪I love the split pov, its definitely my favorite writing style. It was cool how the author made Freya a writer too. So because she was writing a novel it made it feel more like it was happening real life and not like I was reading a novel. Also I love that throughout the whole book mason says he cant commit to relationships but the whole time he was staying committed to her and was there for her for everything💕💕. So cute! This is a must read with a hea and no cliffhangers!!!

Twenty Thousand Starry Nights!. These two characters are just about the yummiest I’ve read in a long time. I love the fact that they were the best of friends who thankfully finally realize that they could also be lovers and life partners. Combined with the compelling plot is lyrical dialogue that counterpoints the novel they are effectively writing together. Simply lovely, Kate Aster!

Incredibly Read. I’ve always loved reading and have hit a harsh stop when it comes to interest in books — at least long enough to get through one. This brought back my spark of romance of words on a page and I do not regret reading it. The ending was slightly startling to me but the rest of the books content makes up for it. Wasn’t expecting to finish it. I’m not gonna lie- I’m that girl who likes those billionaire NAVY shapeshifter BDSM type books but I genuinely loved this book a lot. I wouldn’t say it was more “vanilla” (even tho the sex scenes were so HOT) but compared to the books I’ve read it was definitely a softy LOL. I loved how realistic the plot was and it made my feel like this could happen in real life compared to those shapeshifter novels haha. 5 stars! I would definitely buy the second book :)

First time reader. Not many books make me actually laugh out loud…..Freya’s moms texts did it. Maybe cause I also have to interpret my own mom’s texts. Only complaint really is that I wish it had been longer. I’ll get the next one….and the next….
