Did I read another book?. I could not enjoy this book at all, it was horrible! I was so disappointed because there is rarely ever other races represented in books and thought it was great that the author included others, but the description of the character was horribly stereotypical. You would think that an author could have found something beyond “very black, very round” as a description, the main character did not receive this same treatment at all as there were so many different descriptives used for her!

The Hookup. Awesome!!! I could read her books everyday, all day!

Not impressed.... The book is choppy with missing words from sentences that make it not make sense. I honestly thought it was translated from another language with how off it was, until the bio said “she grew up in in Indiana “! Lol. Should have read bio first to see they couldn’t spellcheck the basic that goes in all books, to know the book would be poorly written.

The Hookup. First time reading this author. I read it because it was rated five stars and had a lot of enthusiastic reviews. There were parts of the story I really liked, parts I felt were more descriptive than they needed to be and happened more often than was called for. I expected trouble from Izzy’s X not Shandra’s brother, that seemed a little over the top. It is not what I would rate a five star book, but I can understand the appeal to certain readers.

Motor. Another KA Great.

So so bad. This started as a very cute story and then went down in quality from there. Bad grammar, bad editing, and just really bad writing. Repetitious and false sounding dialogue. It read like someone just hit copy and paste for ten chapters.

The Hook Up. I love love love Izzy and Johnny’s story. Even more than Toby’s and Addie’s.

This is such a good story. I adore Kristen Ashley, this book was a surprise for us readers. This story was unexpected but so good. The Hook Up I have read so many times when I what a feel good story. Johnny Gamble and Eliza (Izzy). Eliza Forrester is what every young girls would want to be like when they grow up in difficult circumstances. She made life better for herself without being hard, bitter. She is a gift that Johnny didn’t see coming. Without giving away anymore this is such a good book. You will not be disappointed Kristen Ashley rocks.

Great read if you get past chapter 1. The first chapter is an editing disaster, but if you can get past that it is a very good story.

Great Read. Great story. Well written. Keeps the story moving. Can’t wait for this series to continue.

Classic KA…but some similarities.... This is classic KA....especially if you loved the Colorado Men series. I won't get into the synopsis of the book....you need to read it! If you are a KA fan, you will definitely love this book....although there were scenes that were very similar to here other books. In fact, there is a scene where Izzie looks in the mirror and thinks something. This scene is taken from Sweet Dreams....one of my favorite KA books. Also Izzy's friend reminds me of many of KA's heroines' sidekicks/friends, even down to the description. All that being said, I did enjoy the last 2 KA books(Complicated and the Hook Up). Both books remind me of why I love her books so much! Izzy can be a bit annoying in her "head talk" but she is a solid heroine. And of course Johnny Gamble is swoon worthy! Classic alpha hero!

Page One. I gotta admit that there are some stories I read that I skim, they go on and on about things that just don’t hold my interest. Not KA, I devour it ALL. Every word, every chapter, every title! I live in impatience waiting for the next book, once it arrives it sits because I know once I read it I’ll need to wait again. I no longer read the blurbs on the back cover, I just start at page one.

Great read. When you're smiling your way through a book that’s when you know it's a good one.. This one took me a little to really dive into but when it did, I fell hard. Such a great read. I want more, looking forward to the next couple's story. Highly recommended!!

This book is a beautiful story!. Wonderful book gorgeous story I loved it sooo much! Just wanted the epilogue to be a little longer and more detailed about Johnny and Izzy’s future. But oh my goodness Kristen has outdone herself with this beautiful story she has told about this beautiful couple and their wonderful love story!

Another Aaaaaaamazing KA Book. Ms. Ashley does it again! Must read for KA fans, and if you have never read a KA book you are missing out!

Finding Happy. A story about stumbling into love. Two people meet & hookup. But it becomes more. Immediately for her, he soon realizes a dream. This is close to KA’s Burg series or Magdalene series. About life, family, love. The start of a new series, I’m ready for the next book!

The Hookup. Just finished this book. I’m sitting here watching the snow falling out the window, with Indiana in a deep freeze. I’m trying to figure out what to say about this wonderful book. One of my favorites of all time! KA is awesome! I want a Toby and Addie story. Please! Lol. 😍

Disappointing. Despite Ashley’s incredible writing and even better story telling, this felt like half a book. It was wrapped up far too quickly and I was left just feeling that the story was lacking so much. I’m guessing that this will be a series and there will be more stories told, but this was a beautiful story that deserved to be properly fleshed out.

Good read. Enjoyed this book, but not my favourite KA story.

Loved it. I wasn’t sure about this writing to begin with, I had to re-read a lot of paragraphs to understand their meaning and was a bit frustrated. Then the story completely hooked me. I thought it was going to a bit PG but it was so hot and spicy. I loved the two main characters so much, there was so much detail and so much story, I really really loved it.

A Kristen Ashley classic. Loved it, classic Kristen Ashley, beautiful love story, couldn’t put it down.

Fabulous!. I haven’t found a Kristen Ashley book I don’t love so this was no surprise. I read the entire book in one sitting. Amazing! Absolutely LOVE Izzy and Johnny! She manages to hit the perfect balance of hot and sweet every time and this one is no different! Can’t wait for the second book!!

Amazing as always. Another great story that made smile, laugh and cry. Great author! Please keep them coming
