I see what you did there...Thought the book was really sweet. Loved the real life places reflecting the real menu on “Cole” Street (nice touch and an add to one of my bucket list stops). Overall, it was a book I didn’t want to put down and encouraged me to purchase the next in the series because the characters drew me in with enough relatability that I wanted to get to know each one. I found this book to be a complete hot mess. Whitney got on my nerves through most of the book with the way that she treated Cole and her constant worry about what her best friend would think instead of going with how she felt. I did not feel the connection between Cole and Whitney. Stephanie Rose and Joe Arden did a great job narrating the book and were the reason I finished the book.
