A tad disappointed.... I was expecting much more with this book, visually that is . I remember when the funding project started for this book and I considered contributing so I could get a physical copy , glad I didn’t . There could have been more pictures that visually showed the process of making these treats , how they look when they are cut, midway when you are putting them together for decorations , seeing batter consistencies etc .I didn’t expect that for every recipe but a few would have made decorating them easier and made me feel like she was showing me how to do this instead of me reading it myself and trying to figure it out . There are a lot of recipes that I am excited to try out , so that’s a plus .

Simply brilliant!. Love love love this book. Pure creativity and delight!

Fantastic. Utterly astounding. This book is a wealth of cake-y information. Every little detail you might need is included, from how to bake a whole host of cake types and flavours, right down to decorating techniques. Not to mention how to craft each and every one of the cool decorations (which most of the time are entire treats in themselves!) There’s just so much included here that even if there’s a flavour or recipe that doesn’t appeal to you, it’s no worries there’s still 99.99% of the book that’s fabulous and worth an attempt. Brilliant and vibrant job from someone who cares about sourcing in their local communities and bringing baking back into your own home.

Creative cakes but recipes are lacking. First off, this book is gorgeous with so many endlessly creative and colourful cakes and treats. It’s a visual feast! But, for me I found that every recipe I tried needed to be altered – both the method and the ingredient quantities – quite significantly.

Vivid. All her classics and in full vibrant colour with easy instructions. One day I’ll buy the real thing but having her recipes on hand anytime is worth the additional purchase

Sabbath the queen of desserts.. Kathrine honestly makes my creative juices flow! When I see her Instagram posts. This book is wonderful. Always wanted to own her books but have never had a chance. Did not know e-book was a thing 🙃 wow! Glad to now have this and I can create some iconic cakes with amazing flavour combos.

Inspired. Modern. Amazing.. Love this book- every inch! I backed her Kickstarter project in 2016 and eagerly awaited for its arrival. The book is everything I hoped for and more.
