Review: The Fix 1: Fix Her Up. Fix Her Up by Carey Heywood is the first book in her series, The Fix . Told in dual POV, this is a well crafted romantic tale of a woman starting over after her divorce and a man who fell for her the moment they met. It is NOT an insta-love romance, it is a slow and wonderful build between Finley and Noah. Finley is recently divorced, sold her house and found a fixer-upper in New Hampshire to work on. Moving away from Texas is bittersweet. She is sad to leave her family but relieved to get a chance to start fresh. Noah has a construction business and when his realtor sister insists he stop by the house she just sold and check out a few tings for the new owner he doesn't expect the woman to be the lady from the pharmacy that nearly hit his truck on her way i the parking lot. Nor does he expect his attraction to be so strong. Finley is surprised by Noah's insistence to help with her renovations and while she tries to say no, this is one time she is okay with him not taking it for an answer. The friendship between these two characters builds throughout the story, providing Finley with a bond she hd never experienced before and allowing Noah to slowly make his way through all the walls she built around her heart. Well paced and well written, I absolutely enjoyed this story and cannot wait for more of these Thompson siblings. Up next: Fix Me Not and Fix My Fall. Enjoy!

Good Read. Wasn’t sure I would like this, but I was pleasantly surprised. I couldn’t stop reading it! I read 300 pages in one day. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Great. Love the story of Finley and Noah! Love the characters in the book and the storyline was absolutely believable. Good flow to the book and hard to put down until I finished it!

Delightfully sweet. This book made me feel good. It was so light and not weighted down with unnecessary drama just to fill pages. Noah has got to be the sweetest man and the perfect book boyfriend. What woman wouldn’t love a man whose sole purpose it to make you happy and he has no crazy insecurities about another man. Yes please I’ll take Noah for $500 Alex. The supporting characters were great. This a a great author that I have stumbled on and I’m thrilled to read more of her books. Until next time y’all happy reading.

Fix Her Up. New author for me. A decent story, I wasn’t bored.

Fix her up. The story as seen from each of the main characters was really good. The story was well done, but I was disappointed with the graphic details of their sexual encounters. I prefer a little left to the imagination and found myself skipping through most of it. Experiencing the sexual acts portrayed is great. Reading about it in such detail was off putting rather than arousing-for me.

Okay read. It was a good story, but I didn’t read the graphic sexual parts. Would have been a great book otherwise.
