Brilliant!. I love sage and Alex from the first book so I decided to give the second book in the series a chance. I am pleasantly surprised and excited that I went ahead and read this book. There’s so many twists and turns that the statement being on the edge of your seat is accurate. So happy that I stuck with the series.
Even better than the first. Wow. That’s pretty much all I can say. I haven’t been on such an emotional rollercoaster ride for a long, long time. The first book was good, but just good imo. It was more to set the scene and world-build. Now that we know the world and the characters from the first book we can dive right into some of the more meaty action. Which is exactly what this book does, and incredibly well. I’m impressed.
