Loved Juliette and Braden!!!. I’ve been dying for Juliette’s story, and how Carly would bring her in to the mix. Carly definitely didn’t disappoint. Juliette and Braden’s story was AMAZING! She came from a bit (ok, completely) sheltered life, so seeing her on her own, making something of herself, and standing up to those who have manipulated her, is refreshing. I was a bit surprised how she handled her mother. Not many would handle it the way she did the first time around, and I LOVED that about her. Braden was perfect for her. Sexy, sweet, and showing her just how amazing she really is. Halley and Pheobe’s first reactions when Juliette had me in tears. Their reactions to her were perfect! Her dad? I could’ve throat punched... a lot 😂😂. A fantastic addition to this series I would definitely recommend!!!

Juliette. Juliette is the missing sister of Phoebe and Halley. Braden is hired by her father to keep an eye on her but he falls for her almost immediately. The sisters reconnect and Braden and Juliette fall in love. Can they stay that way with Braden keeping a secret. Amazing story!!!. Just when I think the last book I’ve read by Carly Phillips will be my favorite, she writes another book that become my new favorite book. I swear I didn’t think I would fall in love with another of the Ward sisters the way I did with the first 2 books in the series, and I was so glad to see I was wrong. While Juliette is a Collins rather than a Ward like Phoebe and Halley, she is every bit a Ward from the moment she meets her sisters. Juliette Collins really did have what seemed like the perfect life. Her father dotes on her and she has all the luxuries money can buy. My heart absolutely broke for Juliette when she discovered her father had not only known about her sisters and mother, but done everything in his power to keep them out of her life. I think I fell in love with Juliette when she not only confronted her father, and then decided to take back her life. I loved Juliette decided to go to Rosewood Bay to meet her sisters. She is a bit unsure of herself in the beginning and finding her footing as she has never been on her own before. I loved that while she had no training to be a waitress, she jumped in and worked her hardest to work in the local coffee shop. I think Juliette's determination to live her new life to the fullest was one of the things I loved best about her. I adored Braden Clark. He was such a yummy hero! He is a cop turned PI and moved back to his hometown to care for his aging father. How could you not fall head over heels for this guy?!?! Watching Braden care for his father Jonathan and try and keep him home as long as possible absolutely pulled at all of my heartstrings. My only issue was him keeping the secret that Juliette's dad had hired him to watch over her. I really felt like he should have been honest with her much sooner, but even with that error in judgement, I still loved him. Juliette and Braden might have been a bit of a set up meeting thanks to him working for her father, but I felt their connection pretty much from the very beginning. I absolutely fell in love with them as a couple. Their chemistry was so freaking hot, and I loved that Braden totally let Juliette set the pace. Seriously sigh worthy romance between these two. I really wish I could say I understood any of what Juliette's dad had been thinking by keeping her all to himself and even going to some pretty major extremes to try and get her to come back home. If there was ever a character who deserved the love of all her family members, it was Juliette and I loved she was strong enough to seek out her sisters and Aunt Joy and finally have a real family. I loved Halley, Phoebe, and Juliette had each other after totally having won the crap parents lottery with their mom and Juliette's dad. Freed pulled me in from the very first page and I absolutely could not put this book down. I loved it so much I re-read it multiple times to experience this emotional and sexy romance all over again. I highly recommend both this book and the entire Rosewood Bay series to all contemporary romance fans. Rating: 5 Stars (A) Review copy provided by publisher

A lovely story. **** 4.5 **** This is book 3 in the Rosewood Bay series about the lost sister, Juliette. So far, this is my favorite story. It has a good mix of intrigue, naivete, hope, disillusionment and overall family drama. Juliette has been sheltered her entire life and it is now time to make her own way, against her father's wishes. Her father is a control freak and has no concept of letting loose. So what will happen when Juliette finds out her father has been keeping secrets from her? I love that Juliette asserted herself and left to go find her secret family. I love that her and Braden connect and she takes an interest in helping him with his father. Braden is dealing with a lot of things and the last thing he needs right now is a girlfriend, but ultimately that is what he gets and loses. These two had honest, everyday issues of honesty and trust and this was a good story to watch them figure it out and figure out what they both want and need.

Small town romance. I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick, and fun read. Although I didn’t like it as much as the others in the series, it did keep my attention and I was invested in the characters. I loved reading about the other sisters from the previous books and the way they relate to this missing sister. The book is about establishing relationships with her half sisters, her relationship with her new found love and finally changing the relationship with her overbearing father. It as great to see her become an independent confident woman. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another good read in this series. I couldn't wait for Juliette's story. I loved how strong Juliette is in this story. When she finds out she has sisters, she walks away from the life she's known and pursues a relationship with these women, not knowing what she might find. She was so strong to walk away from what she knew. I loved Braden, too. He loved his father so much and he was in agony as he lost a little piece of him everyday. His desire to put his family first would have had a lot of women running the other way, but it drew Juliette even closer to him. She also felt that pull towards family. I really enjoyed their story. I would have loved more story though, that is my only complaint. I felt like this was a short story and there could have been a little more detail in some spots. Overall it was a really good read though and this has been a great series.

So good. Juliette accidentally finds out she has two sisters she never knew about. Much to her father displeasure she decides to find them. What she finds besides her sister is her soul mate. I loved the chemistry between Juliette and Braden....from the first spilled cup of coffee you knew they were meant to be.

Beautiful story!. Long lost sister of this series, Juliette, finally arrives! Her manipulative and suffocating father has driven her to find her sisters. When she arrives in Rosewood, the town embraces Juliette. Braden befriends her, but unknown to Juliette, he was hired to keep tabs on her by her father. When sparks fly between Braden and Juliette, Braden faces the challenge of both getting over his trust issues because of an ex and telling her that he met her for the wrong reasons initially. Thankfully, Juliette is an amazing person that gives Braden a second chance. Sweet story, some steamy scenes and amazing characters. While this is book 3, you could read standalone, but way better and understandable if read in order. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Fabulous!!. Juliette Collins has lived an isolated life with her over protective father. Until that fateful day she was looking in her father’s safe for his wine list to buy him a birthday present. Finding out all this time she had sisters was shocking. Determined to find her sisters she sets out to Rosewood Bay. Braden Clark and his partner are owned of a PI firm. When he is contacted by Juliette’s father to watch his daughter could be the answer to his financial prayers. Dealing with his father’s illness is going to be costly. Once her meets Juliette he knows this woman is going to be someone special but can he bring her into his crazy life right now but fate has different plans. Juliette reunited with her sisters. Finally she has family and loves every minute getting to know her sisters and a fabulous job offer. Now to convince Braden they need to take a chance on each other. So glad these sisters found each other!!

Doing the right thing isn’t always easy.. I love this series! It makes me so happy to know that all the sisters are reconnected. It saddens me to read about mother’s who make selfish choices and are bad moms, but it is an unfortunate reality. Carly’s characters overcome adversity and show their strength of character in the choices they make. It would have been easy for Juliette to be taken care of by her father in luxury, but she wanted more for her life. Braden takes a job, because it’s his job, not knowing what would happen. Juliette has to stand up to her father even when he tries to manipulate her feelings. Juliette and Braden find love unexpectedly, while finding themselves. I can’t wait for the next story in the series. Thank you Carly Phillips for sharing your amazing imaginary worlds with us! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Great!. Freed is the third book in the Rosewood Bay series. The book was about the long lost sister to Phoebe and Halley Ward. Juliette Ward was raised in a shelter lifestyle with her father, who was so protective over her. After uncovering a huge secret her dad kept from her she went on her own to discover herself. In the meanwhile her dad hired a PI, Braden Clark to watch her every move. After getting to know each other, what will happen when Juliette finds out the truth? This was a great read and really enjoyed finally reading what happened to the third Ward sister. Can’t wait to read Andi’s story!

My favorite so far!!. My favorite of this series so far!!!! There was something so incredibly special about Braden and Juliette’s relationship. As well as Braden’s life and Juliette’s. I loved watching the girls connect! We’ve been waiting for that for a while now. Perfect read that left me oh so satisfied! I just love a happy ending! Happy reading!

Freed. ARC for honest review with no compensation received from Booksprout Freed is book 3 in he Rosewood Bay series by Carly Phillips and like the other books in this series it is a standalone, well written and intertwined with the other books... This book is about Juliette Collins who is also the third Ward sister, but she doesn't know that as she was told her mother died early on and was raised by her over protective, wealthy, controlling father. She wants to give her father a special birthday gift so she goes searching and finds a file about her other sisters and her mother and confronts her father and tells him she is going to see them. Her father hires a bodyguard to protect her while she looks up her sisters, but she discovers a life she never knew she was missing. Braden Clark has a personal protection agency and thinks he is just watching over a wealthy city girl who wants to get away but little does he know that his life is about to change too....mixing business with pleasure and lying about who he really is. Secrets, lies, angst, friendships, chemistry, healing, finding love and a HEA!!

Loved Juliette’s story!. I really enjoyed Juliette and Braden’s story. It was worth the wait. It felt like she had always been in both of her sisters’ lives, their meeting was effortless and emotional for all three of them. She really clicked with Braden and was so much more than the rich, sheltered woman that he was expecting. It’s too bad that both of her parents were selfish and only thought of themselves. I did miss that there wasn’t any actual interaction with Aunt Joy. This was well worth reading. Can’t wait for Andi’s story.

Great characters!. 4.5 Stars This steamy book 3 in the Rosewood Bay series features the delicious Braden Clark and Juliet Collins. These two just fit perfectly together, although from different sides of the track. Juliet is naïve because she was extremely sheltered by her father but she’s far from stupid. I’m so glad she finally opened her eyes to her VERY manipulative father. I was kind of hoping for more conflict with Emily but it was not meant to be. I’m so glad we finally got to meet the youngest sister and sad that we didn’t get to hear from the Aunt, who’s been in each of the other books in this series. Great story with fabulous characters! I can’t wait for book four.

Great 3rd book!. The third book of these sisters didn’t disappoint. Juliette is the youngest and the only one raised by an actual parent. Her dad kept her away from the girls crazy mom but also from knowing her two sisters. Juliette decides to start over and get to know them. Her dad hires Braden, a PI to keep and eye on her. As he does, he starts to spend time with her and knows he has to tell her the truth. Some strange things start to happen and more secrets come out. Will Braden keep her safe? Great addition to a great series. Freed is book 3 in the Rosewood Bay Series and this is Juliette the sister Phoebe and Halley Ward have been searching for’s story. Phoebe and Halley know they had a younger sister but Juliette only found out by accident that she had 2 older half sisters living in Rosewood Bay. Juliette determined to get to meet her extended family makes the decision to move to the Bay for the summer and although her father can’t stop her he can at least put a PI on her case to watch and report back to him. Braden is a local PI and when he is approached by Mr Collins to watch his daughter he sees it as just another job that will help when he finally has to pay for his father who has Alzheimer’s to go into a nursing home what he didn’t expect was to fall hook line and sinker for the naive city girl. But what will happen when Juliette finds out someone else she has trusted has lied to her....... This is a great story revolving around a family finally getting to know each other, it’s about love and trust but it’s also a story that touches on the hard subject of caring and watching someone you live with suffer from the terrible Alzheimer’s disease and I have to say this author covered that subject with compassion. This is a beautifully written love story that touched my heart, the characters are easy to like and the chemistry and banter is perfect. Looking forward to the next visit to the inhabitants of Rosewood Bay.

Amazing. Juliette and Braden were amazing. I cannot wait to see what Carly has in store next for the family and the town. This book was filled with love, heartache, and everything in between. The storyline was so engaging I read it in one sitting.

Brilliant. 5 star review Freed (Rosewood Bay #3) by Carly Phillips Book three in what has become one of my favourite series. I thoroughly enjoy Ms. Phillips writing style and Freed is no exception. Her characters are strong and easy to relate too and I particularly liked how she built the story up. For years Juliette Collins has been isolated from the world, not knowing that she has sisters who have been searching for her. That is until she discovers a file on her father’s computer and she learns the shocking truth. Her father is dead set against her seeking out her sisters but Juliette has had enough, she wants, no needs, to know her siblings. Braden Clark, a private investigator, has been employed to watch over Juliette by her over protective father. What he doesn’t count on is being attracted to his charge. The attraction growing between Juliette and Braden is strong and hard to ignore. Life is about to get complicated for these two. What will happen when Juliette finds out the truth about who he really is? Will she be able to forgive his deception? It was so nice to catch up on the previous two couples and see what is happening in their lives and it was heart warming to watch the love and relationship develop between Juliette and her sisters,Phoebe and Halley. I truly felt for Braden and the struggle he has with a father suffering from Alzheimer's and the difficulties he has in trying to keep his business afloat and care for his father. The chemistry between Juliette and Braden, their story romantic. I really liked both the main characters and found myself totally engrossed in their story. Although a stand alone I do think you would enjoy reading book 1 Fearless as well. This series gets better and better and I cannot wait for the next book in the Rosewood Bay series.

3.75 stars-encouraging story of independence. 3.75 stars-- FREED is the third instalment in Carly Phillips’ contemporary, adult ROSEWOOD BAY romance series focusing on the Ward sisters. This is missing Ward sister twenty-six year old Juliette Collins, and private investigator Braden Clark’s story line. FREED can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. Told from dual third person perspectives (Juliette and Braden) FREED follows Juliette Collins, the missing Ward sibling, as she searches for the sisters she knew nothing about. Raised by her over-protective father, following the death of her mother, Juliette has been sheltered her entire life until the day she reads her father’s file about her ‘not so dead’ mother, and the daughters (Juliette’s sisters) he abandoned years before. Heading to Rosewood Bay to meet Phoebe and Halley Ward, Juliette is unaware that her father, New York City investment banker Andrew Collins, has hired a private investigator to report back on the daughter of whom he is desperate to return home. Enter Braden Clark, former police officer and PI, and the man with whom Juliette will fall in love. What ensues is the building relationship between Juliette and Braden, and the fall-out when Juliette learns the truth about her father’s ongoing betrayal, and the lie of omission by Braden Clark. FREED is a story of betrayal, secrets and lies. From the proverbial frying pan into the fire, Juliette Collins discovers that the men in her life cannot be trusted. Naïve and isolated from the basic experiences of life Juliette Collins embarks on a bucket-list of activities beginning with the introduction to the sisters she never knew. Braden Clark struggles in the face of his father’s ever—increasing Alzheimer’s disease, a disease that is quickly destroying the man he once was. Falling for Juliette Collins was never in the plans but meeting the awkward, innocent and beautiful Juliette gave Braden a hope for a happily ever after. The relationship between Juliette and Braden is off-limits due to the fact that Braden has been hired to spy on our heroine, reporting back to the father who has broken her heart. The attraction between Juliette and Braden is immediate but Braden’s pursuit of Juliette is an ongoing mix-up of signals for our story line heroine. The romance is fun, flirty and spicy. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. The wonderful secondary and supporting characters include Juliette’s sisters Phoebe (and Jake), Hally (and Kane) as well as the local florist Andrea ‘Andi’ Harmon; Juliette, Phoebe and Hally’s father Andrew; Braden’s struggling father Jonathan Clark, and their neighbor Lucy Mulligan. Andi and Kyle’s story line is next in DREAM, a departure from the Ward sister story lines. FREED continues to focus on the daughter’s of New York City investment banker Andrew Collins, a man who abandoned his eldest children, and left them to suffer with a drug-addicted mother. Raised in the child-welfare system, Phoebe and Hally have battled the stigma of desertion, betrayal, and drug abuse to find their happily ever after without the aid of neglectful parents. FREED is an encouraging story of independence, with animated and playful characters. The struggle was limited to the lies and deception directed towards our story line heroine; the conflict resolution was a little too neat and clean for this reader.

Great sweet story!. Loved Juliette and Braden’s sweet story! By accident Juliette discovers she has two sisters she didn’t know about and that her father lied to her, so she leaves town and goes of to meet them. While spreading her wings she finds not only her family but love in this beautiful story! Can’t wait for the next book Dream!
