Not as good as any in the trilogy. Honestly, it’s ok and at times good but for the most part it is not worth your time. It’s almost like it was written by someone else.

This has by far been the best series I’ve ever read. It’s raw and honest, brutally so. The characters fight hard, love even harder and die so quickly you have to re-read those last two paragraphs to make sure you fully comprehend what just happened. Read it. Read it now.

All I can say is. Wow. An absolute gem of an entry in the series. Riveting from cover to cover. It’s hard to tell where this book starts and iron gold ends. I almost feel like they could have been one massive story. The way they flow together is masterful. Up until this book Golden Son was my favorite in the series. This one takes the cake and all the other desserts with it. The battles are nail biting. And the revelations in this book and the history that comes back keeps you turning pages. The way he takes characters that I had a hard time caring about in iron gold to Ephraim being my second favorite character in the entire series is beyond what I thought the sequel trilogy had in store for me. 2 thumbs way up. 5 stars. Whatever you want to call it. Don’t miss out on this fantastic novel

Love. Love

GoT, Dune, Hunger Games, Eragon, LotR all made a baby. This book is everything you could ask for from a future among the stars love story of “GoT” meets “Dune” level proportions. The only word on your mind throughout this entire series is what’s next!

Best so far. So far the best book in the series. If you thought Golden Son was great you need to read this one. Pierce improves his updated narrative of using multiple POV characters. Looking forward to see how Lightbringer adds to the Red Rising sequel series!

Extraordinary. Spellbinding, addictive, and immensely difficult put down. Pierce Brown captures the imagination on page one and doesn’t let go until the end.

Longest yet, awesome!. This was another great book. He is really starting to get his character development to match his true writing talent for plot. The way the strands come together is just brilliant. I will be first in digital line to buy the next one.

Darrow & Pierce Do it Again. Possibly better than Morning Star; made me weep, made me laugh, and most of all made me thirst for more of this world. Cannot wait for Light Bringer. If you love sci fi, Howlers, Darrow, and to see all your heroes be truly tested this is the booo for you. I can’t stress enough just how much one takes the franchise to the next level.
