Boring. I read The Wife Between Us and thought I’d try this too because the first book was pretty good. This is a terrible snooze. I kept waiting for something to happen but nothing happened. Don’t waste your money.
Snooze zzzz. Zero character development, very one dimensional, yet could have been good because of a decent plot. The protagonist is just a wife and mother, no interests outside of the home. And all she does is whine and hiss throughout most of the book. Lovely. Can’t recall what the husband does for a living, and Hank the dog had 4 lines in the entire book. Save your money. Snooze, boring and not written very well.

Great story!. A riveting tale of domestic infidelity and the ensuing aftermath. My heart broke for the main character Josie as she navigated through the harsh, raw emotions of finding out her husband had an affair. It was definitely interesting and eye opening to watch her wade through the different feelings and realizations of her marriage and the relationship she had with her husband. Unfortunately this is an all to common narrative these days but it was nice to see it done in such a thought provoking and realistic way, focusing more on the emotions as a whole and not just the anger. Very well done and I look forward to more from this author.
Too long. It could have been a short story.. Boring and repetitive.
