Excellent book. I really enjoyed the storyline and characters. While being a book in the middle of the series, it was a standalone story. You didn’t have to read the other books first to understand the story. I felt it was very good and may try others by this author.

Good read. The book had many twists and turns it was well written bringing to different story lines together. The end did feel a little rushed but very good.

Lost creed. Excellent read. Interesting characters and of course always mans best friends. One of her best Creeds. Looking forward to future stories.

Lost Creed. Creed, the dogs and their friends make great stories. The descriptions of the abilities the dogs possess are truly interesting and factual. Alex Kava is my favorite author and one of the very few who can keep me reading all night.

Fantastic story!. I couldn’t put it down until the end. The characters were fantastic and the story was interesting and full of suspense. Although the story was sad and deadly, the author ended it on a happy ending. Absolutely remarkable.

Lost Creed. Great book!

Lost Creed. First time reading this author, and this is not the type of book I usually read. Reason being, they are too real, too disturbing, too unforgettable, and children are involved. I did read it though. The positive side of this review is the characters were well written, and the story was riveting. The negative was the ending. I wasn’t ready for that because I wanted more. I will probably read this author again for just that reason.

Loved the dogs. Good pacing, gripping storyline, and I especially enjoyed learning about search and rescue dogs.

Worth reading. Fast-paced,great central characters. Would have liked more insight to Iris and Eli but understand shortcomings of trying to fit everything in a short novel. Overall very well done.

Five Stars Plus!. If only I could give more stars. Engaging from the first sentence and builds from there. The characters leap off the page and demand attention. The story line stays true with twists you can see coming and those you didn't see coming. The dogs' personalities also shine through. Enjoy.

Lost Sleep over Lost Creed. Alex Kava has a way of gripping your soul so tightly that at times you realize you're holding your breath or your heart is hammering out of your chest. This book, Lost Creed, answered so many questions about his sister. I've waited for these answers for years and I'm thankful for the closure. Now we need a happy ending for Ryder and Maggie! Thank you for the amazing research that goes into each book. You are my favorite author and I can't wait to see what comes next. ~Melanie~

Love this book!. This is the first book in the series that I’ve read and am totally hooked! Absolutely loved the K9 dogs and their special relationship with their handlers. Also enjoyed the main characters and compelling storylines relating to human trafficking and how the K9s connect the two stories. Couldn’t put the book down! Can’t wait to read more books in the series.

Such a captivating and amazing story.. I hate starting in the middle of a series but by the time I figured it out with this one- I was already hooked! I could not put it down. Don’t know if I can go back or not but I will definitely be reading others by Kava!

Lost Creed. This is certainly one of the best books I’ve read recently. Not only was it informative about police K9’s but the horrors of sex trafficking. The author certainly did his research. The characters were well developed and had many layers to them. I couldn’t put the book down. This is an important story that needs telling.

A bit too contrived for me. In real life the plot of this book has about ten percent chance of actually happening. Yes, I can believe that human trafficking exists, especially in America where there seems to be more dysfunction than in most countries, but the events in this book seemed to have been programmed around the subject with absolutely no skill whatsoever and bearing no relation to reality. I found it to be trite, contrived and just too convenient. Oh and perhaps the author and the proofreader could cast their minds back to schooldays and re-learn the difference between the preposition “past” and the past tense of the verb to pass - “passed”! And also the difference between “implement” and “implicate”! Clear signs of poor writing skill - or are Americans now changing grammar as well as spelling? Wouldn’t surprise me!

Best reads. Always a good read. I have all of Alex’s books have enjoyed every one of them. Hope she is planning to write more

Good book but. I liked the plot, it was different, however I didn’t understand the storyline about the other dog trainer and the missing girl and I felt the ending was too quick…. A big build up of suspense and then within two pages, it’s over.

My first Alex Kava book. This story had me enthralled from the first page. Great characters (& dogs ) and excellent storyline. I will definitely be reading more, and highly recommend others do the same.
