I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It was quite amazing how much you want more and more when you get hooked. The flow was great and the fork-in-the road decision towards the end was nail biting.

Must Read. This was my first by the author but oh my gosh!! I loved every bit of it! I couldn’t get enough the characters and the chemistry was amazing! The storyline was smooth and the flow flawless! Can’t wait to read more by the author! Looking forward to reading many more of her books!

Gentleman Nine. I loved everything about this story! I was so annoyed when the ex came back, but it made for the right amount of drama! Easy read and kept me hooked from beginning to end!

Definitely on my top 5 list. I absolutely loved the story line. All the characters are relatable. Loved the emotions that played out from the beginning.

Couldn’t put the book down. This book had me on an emotional roller coaster! Penelope Ward has done it again one of my favorite authors !

Blah. It’s was ok. Definitely not my favorite Penelope Ward’s book. Just doesn’t seem like her usual writing style. Slow and dull especially in the beginning and Amber annoyed me for some reason. Channing hotness is the only reason why I gave it 3 stars.

Love it. This was a really good read. I loved the characters past relationship coming into the present. The sex was so hot it actually turned me on a bit... Ok a lot!!! I highly recommend this book.

Gentleman 9. A modern love triangle with a twist. Three young people friends as children suffer an agonizing loss. But over come the loss as each Rory and Channing each fall for Amber. Their stories made me feel. You can love two men. This book has given my two favorite things a book hang over and a new book boyfriend. What more could you ask for?

Wasn’t bad. I enjoyed the first half of the book but then it kind of got too dramatic, with Everything that happened all at once. I would have liked to read an intimate scene from Ambers POV rather than Channing’s all the time, but overall it was a good read

Swoon. I so enjoyed the book. I totally thought the G9 was going in another direction. Loved how the friendship turned lover played out. Getting the true story about Rory was real fitting and happy with Amber’s choice.

Felt everything about this story!. This book has EVERYTHING. LOVE triangles are my thing and this did not disappoint. I love that the blurb gives just enough of a tease of the story, but I can tell you that it doesn't come close to telling the whole story. I want to do this review justice, but it's hard to do that without out giving away all the little details that I enjoyed along the way. I fell in love with Channing and Amber from the beginning. Childhood friends that reunite after not seeing each other after awhile. Channing is a happy-go-lucky kind of guy that doesn't seem to miss a trick. Amber is getting over a broken heart and Channing was just the medicine that she needed. He temporarily stays with her in Boston for work and we watch them pick up their friendship after years. There were times when I was reading about these two, where I could physically feel the chemistry. I was getting warm and tingly! And ultimately for the last 30% of the book, I could feel how Amber was torn. Making a decision between her past and her future. My heart was breaking. It was one of those situations where any decision would be good, but which is the RIGHT choice. I feel like the takeaway from this story is that it only takes one decision to change the course of your life, so it's best to follow your heart and not your head. <3 <3 While this story was not as angsty as some of Penelope's books, it was such a complete story about being selfless and devoted.

Touching triangle. Wow! What a wonderful story! I loved Channing and Amber. Their story was so touching and heartfelt. And, not gonna lie, Kitty kinda stole my heart. The dilemma Amber faced was real. Even though I was totally #TeamChanning, Rory deserved his spot. I felt the heartbreak of all three characters. Beautifully written.

Job well done. Loved it beginning to end! A cute story with some spice 😏

Gentleman Nine. A good story line. Parts were more graphic then they needed to be. Through most of the book I was pretty sure of how it would end.

I LOVE Penelope's books. I LOVE Penelope's books! The reason I love her books, this one absolutely included, is the characters. These are like real people. They act like real people and talk like real people. And they blessedly don't get tangled up in the whole "well, I should tell him the truth, but I won't" nonsense that lasts the whole book. Yes, there is a little of that in this one, but the truth is revealed in a very timely manner. I'm a total sucker for couples that have a shared history, and Channing and Amber certainly do. It was VERY interesting with an added element that popped back up about halfway through the book. Won't spoil it for you ;) Yep; another SMOKING HOT and AWESOME story from Penelope! (I received a copy of this book in consideration of an honest review)

Another hit. Can’t say enough good things about this story! Has me hooked from the first chapter. These characters were so well written, it made you feel like you personally knew them. Just an all around great story.

This book was absolutely EVERYTHING!!. I adore Penelope Ward’s work but this was “next-level” incredible! I literally FELT so many different emotions throughout Gentleman Nine that it was truly as if I were living it! My heart soared and skipped beats and broke; oh how my heart broke! I laughed out loud and sobbed tears from my very soul... No review could ever do this book the justice it deserves and the best advice I can give you is; Read. This. Book!!!

This is a must read love story. I have waited a few days to write my review for Gentleman Nine because I really want to do this amazing book justice, I also don’t want to write a review that is full of spoilers, I just want to tell you how this book made me feel because for me this is Penelope Wards best book so far..... This book has wonderful characters, a storyline that will leave you with your heart in your mouth for a lot of the time and if you are anything like me you will shed a few tears, lifetime friends who want to just make sure their best friend is happy ( don’t we all wish we had friends like that in our corner) well that’s Amber and Channing and they don’t care if their own feelings get crushed along the way. This book had my emotions all over the place but in a good way and I was Team Channing throughout this book, you will need to read the book to find out what that means, I don’t want to go to much into the story because I believe this is a MUST READ and I think you will enjoy this book so much more going in with no expectations. Once again Penelope Ward went way above any expectations I had of this book so please do yourself a favour by one clicking this brilliant read.

Timing is important. Gentleman Nine was a very enjoyable read. A story of action and consequence, supporting others and timing. Characters of strength and feeling dealing with decisions make and the curveballs of life.

Not her best work 😬. Really had to persist to get through it. It only started to gain momentum about 2/3 in and lost steam by the end. Shame because her other books are great.

Bittersweet!. That is the only way I can think about this book. It was bittersweet. I loved the story and felt so sad for Rory. Great book - I am never disappointed with Penelope Ward's stories.

Gentleman Nine. Penelope Ward never disappoints, add this to the long list of 5 Star reads from this author. This book was funny, sad and had just the right amount of suspense with a HEA!! Definitely worth the read!!
