The best one yet!!!. This is the best one yet!!! Oh my, Maddox! I didn't think anyone could beat the first book but Maddox just took the prize. I loved everything about this book. Maddox is a big reason, but not the only reason. His and Luna's story was captivating. Their unique gifts added an extra element to the story line and overall plot. This series is full of action and suspense. The characters are super soldiers that were altered with a chemical a scientist created to bring back the dead. Each with their own unique gifts. Each dangerous in their own way. Some turn bad, some turn good. The government are trying to cage them and use them as weapons in warfare. Treating them as if they are animals and not people. These men and women are loyal soldiers until they meet their mate. Their mates ground them, keep the darkness away. The are protective and very possessive of their mate. Their loyalty changes to that person and the government is not happy about that. With each new book and each new couple, they fight to break free of their prison and the rogue are gathering together coming closer and closer to destroying the Lazarus project. Cynthia Eden has succeeded in bringing an exciting new series to the romantic suspense genre! I can't wait to for Jett's story! ARC provided by NetGalley.
