Reflection. I found this book so close like my parents. They are 94 and 96. One has acute Alzheimer and the other lower spine issues. They are so strong together. This book reminds me of their devotion and love for each other. Excellent representation of Unconditional Love (2Corth.13)

Something New Please?. Is Nicholas ever going start writing more books beyond the theme of “person in relationship meets someone new and they fall madly in love and realize the person they are currently with isn’t good enough and this random stranger they meet is the one and they were meant for each other all along”? True love is a wonderful read, but why is it that the characters constantly seem to need to be in relationships that are “not good enough” and just happen to find someone else? It’s basically a soft twisted rationale of an unfaithful cheat.. Wonderful, amazing love doesn’t have to be found within confiding in someone new and “discovering” that what you have isn’t good enough. Can we have some more amazing books like The Wedding? Where there is dedicated and new found love WITHIN the relationship, not outside of it?

Every Breath. I fell in love with this book immediately. Once I started it I had to finish it. I was glad I had a whole day with nothing planned. I simply enjoyed this story so much. I cried when this book was done.

True love. If you’ve never experienced “cardinal love,“ this story might seem far-fetched. For those of us with scarlett wings, it’s a painting in words.

Good but not great. I have read every book Nicholas Sparks has wrote. I was glued to this book the second I started it. I absolutely loved how you felt how in love they were, but the curve ball of them meeting again in their sixties really wrecked the book. If it wasn’t a true story you should have them meet younger so they could actually have a life together... being “that” in love. Other than that I loved it.

Timeless Love Story. I loved this book. As I was fortunate enough to meet the man of my dreams with undying love even after 49 years of marriage. Somehow our story really made Hope’s and Tru’s story resonate how poignant life is especially when you are so loved ...whether you are together or not they will always be with you. Thanks to Nicholas for his sharing his special gift of writing heartfelt memorable novels.

A must read. I have yet to read a Nicholas Sparks book that wasn’t amazing but this one is definitely top 5! Highly recommend for all my romance lovers!

Wanting More. I was disappointed at the depth of the story, which was lacking. Having read many of his books in the past there was no similar charm. The ending of the book, in particular, left me wanting for something more.

Stopped reading after the first few chapters. Realized that the setting was supposed to be in 1990 but Sparks talks about one character texting towards the end of Chapter Two. Sparks has gotten sloppy with his writing and this just shows there was no concern for the historical integrity of the book.

A great Read with up and down emotions. While reading this, I felt myself and thought about only anger with regret. In the end it has made me see that forgiveness and understanding are much stronger forces. Two people who loved and lost love have shown that, that lost love will always prevail for reasons only known to a higher power.

Disappointed. I know Nicholas Sparks is always writing about relationships and love, and typically I really enjoy his books and movies. This one was just"ok".

An amazingly fantastic read. Absolutely loved Every Breath!! Nicholas Sparks has always been a favorite, but WOW!! I’m finding it difficult to read something else because I know it won’t be as good! I’ve spent time at Sunset Beach and currently have a condo across the state line. I cannot wait to visit Kindred Spirit!!!

Enticing. I couldn’t put the book down. I finished it in about a day and a half. I cried laughed and got lost in the love story of Hope and Tru. It was definitely worth reading.

Really?!?!. I love a good Nicolas Sparks love story, even the sad ones, but this I just couldn’t buy into. The reasoning behind Hope’s decision I just found ludicrous. It made me angry. I had to put the book down and walk away, wondering why I wasted my time. Although, maybe it’s good because it elicited that response? Who knows. Not my cup of tea, but a quick easy read.

A MUST READ!!!. I was introduced to Every Breath at Sunset Beach last year. The owner of the home we were renting had it displayed as a decoration. I just recently decided to read it. We were unable to locate the Kindred Spirit mailbox last year as we went to late and it got dark. Hoping to find it when we return this year.

This book gave me courage. Loved. This book was given to me by a stranger while traveling alone for a 4 day stay in Charleston, SC. After sharing stories of why we were there he then passed me this book. I’m so grateful. It was the exact prescription needed ironically to give me the courage to leave a destructive relationship/marriage. Something I have needed to do for over a decade. It validated what love is and that we are all worthy of it in this world.

True love story. This book was amazing, and the thought that’s it’s all true and not just fiction makes it better. I was in tears by the end, definitely a tear jerker but it has happy moments. I’m glad they finally got to have their time, it’s… there’s not a word for just how it is that they found their way back to each other after so many years and worlds apart. It’s inspiring. Nicholas Sparks is my favorite author and he was the best person to write their story. I’m in awe. True love really does exist and it’s out there.

Easily forgetabke. I just couldn’t relate to this book... it all sounded ...forgettable . And kindred spirits would be better title ... the title is even forgettable ...

Disappointed. I guess I was expecting his usual writing style. This was a departure from what I had loved about his writing. My family has a house on Holden Beach which is along the cluster of beaches between Wilmington N.C. and Myrtle Beach. It provides the luxury of a quiet respite from the world.

20th Victim. Great read!! Thought it got a little slow in the middle, but it was great as always. Can’t wait for 21.

Breath taking!. I have officially read every one of Nicholas Sparks’ books! It never ceases to amaze me, his uncanny balance of tugging on your heart strings, while warming your heart in equal measure. The amount of tears I’ve shed matches the laughs that have escaped my mouth! Gravity takes over and I CANNOT put his novels down!! I only wish there were countless more to read! Guess I will start back at the beginning🥰

Incredible. The only thing that comes to mind as I finish this book. So drawn in and so relational to me that is all I can say.

Left feeling confused with so much time wasted.. This is the worst book you have written..... I can’t even come up with words to explain how awkward and drawn out some parts were and the lack of so much detail in other parts. It seemed like a big jumble of memories in someone’s head pouring out. It was awful.
