Fun, flirty and completely entertaining!. Every single time I start reading a Lila Monroe book, I know I’m going to not only enjoy it, but think about it well after I’ve finished. Every. Single. Time. And her latest romcom, How to Choose a Guy in 10 Days, showcases the exact reasons as to why I love her books! Fun, flirty, with the perfect amount of humor and sexual tension, this book’s enticing storyline and unforgettable characters make it not only entertaining but heartwarmingly romantic! After the very brief glimpse of HTCAGITD we get at the end of Man Candy, I couldn’t WAIT to read it! Gemma and Zach’s quirky and antagonistic neighborly “relationship” was just downright delightful. Their combative banter and seemingly polar opposite lifestyles infuse the story with wit and playfulness. The energetic connection between them sparks off the pages, eliciting a powerful intrigue and intimacy that thoroughly engages the reader from start to finish. And the transformation their relationship takes from enemies to friends to lovers was entirely smooth and seamless, matching the progression of the storyline flawlessly. This fresh and lively new Chick Flick Club Series is one I’m super excited to continue reading! If the next books in the series are even remotely as fantastic as How to Choose a Guy in 10 Days, then I know I’m in for an entertaining and laugh-out-loud treat. If you’re new to Lila Monroe’s books, then there’s never been a better time to start reading than NOW! A definite 5 star must read that does not disappoint!

Cute. Cute but a little too cheeky and immature for me. Very predictable but interesting enough to make me finish it.

Loving & Laughing!!!. Once again, another classic from Lila Monroe. Aside from the interesting story (make over a guy in 10 days, aka BigFoot), I completely fell in love with the characters, their interaction, and the changes that come over them. Not to mention the legit laugh out loud moments. I will ALWAYS read Lila’s books for the fact that aside from good stories with lots of heart, she makes me just burst into laughter, no matter where I am. Can’t wait for more!!!

How To. Goose A Guy In Ten Daus. As usual, this author makes everything funny. I loved the book but felt the ending sucked. The story just stopped and started on her friend, Zoey.

Laugh out loud!!. What a great book to start a new series. Gemma is a passionate stylist with a fun side. Zack is the hairy unkept neighbor on extended vacation. But once she gets to know the real him she falls hard. I love the friendships and banter of all the characters. A Laugh Out Loud story. A must read. Refreshing Comedy. I am seriously going to have to start a Lila Monroe quotes or witty sayings log as there are some good ones in her stories to include this one. Ms. Monroe has grown in her romcom writing to be a must click author each time I see a new release from her. Her plots are comical with witty banter and her female characters make me wish I had their flair and pizazz.

Review: Chick Flick Club 1: How to Choose a Guy in 10 Days. How to Choose a Guy in 10 Days by Lila Monroe is the first book in her brand new series, Chick Flick Club . A Series of romantic comedies surrounding a close group of friends who spend some quality time watching, you guessed it, chick flicks. Told in dual POV, this is the story of Gemma and Bigfoot, also known as Zach, her jerk neighbor. Gemma is a stylist who has been offered a promotion. One caveat, it's a competition between her and her catty co-worker. Her job is to improve the Bigfoot lumberjack of a next door neighbor in the next ten days. Her promotion depends upon it. If only he would stop slamming the door in her face... Zach has been living like a college frat boy for a while now and he's fine with it. Why his neighbor won't leave him alone is another problem. But it turns out he isn't as annoyed by her as he thought. Besides it's about time he found out who he really is when he isn't hiding behind his frat boy behavior and actually starts adulting for once. Funny, sweet, romantic and sexy this is yet another smash hit from one of my favorite authors. The secondary characters are wonderful and I can't wait to get my hands on the next book in the series, You've Got Male. Enjoy!

4.5⭐️. A nice love story. Same format as quite a few other books but this one had a bit of spice to it! Not 5⭐️ due to the typos

Will Zach agree?. Meet Gemma a warm confident stylist to the everyday person. Meet Zach annoying grumpy neighbor of Gemma! Zach has a non stop flow of girls and the noises flow in Gemma’s apartment and she never gets a full night sleep. Gemma is up for promotion and she is challenged by her nemesis at work to transform a person to a smart savvy persona. In walks Zach at the wrong time and He is chosen as Gemma’s transformation, can she change Zach or does she encourage him to do it. Can these 2 neighbours get on while doing the transformation and can more happen. I couldn’t put the book down, I laughed cried and it was a feel good story. Love Lila Monroe and she really knows how to get you into the story. Can’t wait for the next instalment.

GREAT CHARACTERS AND A FUN READ. 5 Star Review of How To Choose a Guy in 10 Days (Chick Flick Club #1) by Lila Monroe   This is book one in an exciting new series from Lila Monroe and in my opinion she is off to a flying start. This is an enemies to lovers story and Lila Monroe had me from chapter one in this fun, quirky and oh so entertaining read. I loved Gemma, such kind and caring woman who goes out of her way to support to all who need her. Gemma and Zach are neighbours and when Gemma seeks his assistance to gain a promotion at work, the sparks fly. Initially Zach refuses but after reconsidering he decides to allow Gemma to make him over. This is the start of a fantastic story that will have you laughing out loud as well as cringing at times. This is an excellent example of Romantic Comedy at it’s finest and I recommend you one click ASAP, I don’t think you will be disappointed. Looking forward to more in the series.

A refreshing story!. 4.5 stars I really enjoyed this rather different story which gave me a few laughs and was fun to read too! I really liked the characters especially Gemma and her friends, the banter was rather witty and really true to a girls night and support they give each other! Zach! Gemma had some rather endearing names for her neighbor! He was certainly different but also a genuine guy! Ah what a refreshing story! I thought the way the storyline went was great but I just knew due to Zachs past, something was going to happen! I rather liked the way Gemma tackled her job, she was a caring person who wanted only whats best for her clients and it certainly showed! A great story!

Hilarious Read with great characters. Book 1 in the new Chick Flick Club Series and what a great way to start because How to Choose a Guy in 10 Days ticks all the boxes let’s be honest we all need our tribe of girlfriends that have our backs. What’s not to love about Gemma a sweet caring girl with a heart of gold some may see her as weak but when her friends or clients backs are against the wall she shows the feisty side to her nature and her loyalty shines through. Zach really does prove you should never judge a book by its cover because the neighbor who has been given the nickname of Bigfoot steps up when needed even to help the girl who on the face of it hates him........ I loved how this story unfolded I love Gemma and Zach and their funny banter and I love this authors style of writing there is no doubt in my mind Lila Monroe is up there amongst the best when it comes to her hilarious rom-coms and this book is certainly a must read. Looking forward to the next in this series.
