Celtic empire. Excellent read. I could not stop reading. The plot is complex.

Another adventure!. Haven’t read a bad Tom Clancy book yet- and what’s not to like about Dirk Pitt!

Really enjoyed it. I took a long hiatus from Dirk Pitt novels because the stories became repetitive, though, I did enjoy them. Decided to give it another try with this one and had a lot of fun reading it. I’ll get back into them again.

Not Clive Culler. I’ve read all the original Cussler books and this clearly is not one of them. The dialogues do not match and they are not smooth. The mixing of the two Pitts is annoying. The behavior of the characters not developed in a refined way. The core storyline is similar though. Avoid this one.

Another Engaging Adventure from Mr. Cussler. If you are a Clive Cussler and Dirk Pit fan you’ll enjoy this adventure. I spend a lot of time on airplanes and since working in “cattle class” is impossible good reads like this one are indispensable for easing the otherwise unpleasant experience that is air travel.

Clive's books have been my joy for years. Another Clive classic for my 2019 summer pleasure!. Awesome!

Another great book. Another Clive Cussler and Dirk Pitt novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the end. have read every one in the Dirk Pitt series. each and every book is spectacular.

Getting mor far fetched each time... The writing is entertaining but the books keep moving further and further into to outright silly. The suspension of disbelief required is significant...

Celtic Empire. I agree with the previous comment regarding the use of the term “Tar Sands”. That is a fabricated term created for the purpose of denigrating Canadian oil production. “Tar” has nothing to do with oil. Tar is manufactured from peat moss or pine trees.

Alberta Prospective. The references to Alberta Oil Sands as tar sand is offensive to me. It represents an uniformed narrative propagated by special interest groups. The oil sands bitumen is produce with less emissions the California oil and oil from Venezuela. We are ethical and environmentally conscious in producing this resource and share the wealth with our fellow country persons. Unlike some of the other energy producers in the world.
