Hmm. I absolutely loved Hybrid Misfits and was excited to see another book in the series coming out...finally. Well, it has been a few years. I clicked the preorder on Siren Misfit and read it the moment my device told me it was live. While the characters were entertaining and the pacing kept me reading I finished the book feeling like a big chunk of the story was missing. This book won't make my Read Again list.

Great story with interesting and quirky but likeable characters.. Loved the interaction between Lana and Jory which is enhanced by the great plotline that unfolds. These two together had great chemistry right from the start which Lana does her best to deny. I had to warm up to Jory due to his womanising ways but that gets explained quite well. Though I was sorry about Lana’ past, I loved what happens in this book. I have read these out of order as this was my first book in this series. Having now listened to book one I can place this story better. Though it isn’t a major factor I found it better to have done book one first. Kindly gifted by the author but this is my honest review of this book
