Fantastic. The characters were fantastic and the story was interesting and full of suspense. I loved Ford. What a man!

Hot Page-turning Suspense. Ford: Finding His Fire was the first book I've ever read by author PJ Fiala. In his search to find the arsonist who killed his parents, he meets his ex-wife who's being chased down. After multiple attempts on their lives, he brings her into his home to keep her safe while he and his siblings work on apprehending her ex. Her experience with her ex was nothing but abuse and his is seeking justice for his family. Along the way, we learn of the skeletons in both their closets while they attempt to fight the feelings they have for each other. Any romance that adds a fair amount of suspense and intrigue is going to draw my attention and this one was no exception. I love the part where there's a nice romance developing but the entire way is fraught with danger and page-turning suspense. I can't wait to read the next book in this series and look forward to delving further into Fiala's books. This book was provided to me as an iBook in exchange for an honest review.

HEA. Audiobook version: I really enjoyed the book and the narrator’s. Characters are a little older than most HEA books I’ve read. I look forward to listening to rest of the books in the series.

Intriguing romantic mystery. From page one this book grabs you and doesn’t let you go. Ford is a bounty hunter after Bobby Ray an arsonist. Megan is the ex wife of Waylon who helped Bobby Ray escape from jail. Ford and Megan come together when Megan’s home is set on fire. It starts out as distrust but as Megan and Ford work together to find these two bad guys they learn to trust and love each other. This is a very well written intriguing mystery and a wonderful love story too. I couldn’t put it down once I started it. Loved it.

I loved this book. I really like the storyline with all the twists and turns. I also always like a happy ending. I read a number of this authors books and I love them all.

What a great book - riveting suspense. I just finished this moments ago and am still saying wow… what a great ending. After the (riveting) fast action and drama that only ex’s can bring, Ms Fiala delivers a very satisfying close. I recommend as a stand alone-the suspense and sizzle are more than enough alone. But I look forward to reading the rest of the series… Bonus points for having real, not-young characters and a nurturing relationship. All-around great!

A mixed bag…. This steamy romance engages the reader immediately with a nice combination of mystery and attraction. I was a bit put off by the superfluous profanity. I’m not opposed to profanity when it fits a character or plot situation, but some of it felt unnecessary and even distracting. The sex scenes are explicitly descriptive…more than I care for. But the plot and likable characters kept me reading.

A Great Story!. I really enjoyed this book, it made me chuckle and made me teary eyed a few times too. Give it a read, you won’t be sorry!

Maybe your favorite flavor is vanilla?. Overall the book is well written, but it felt very vanilla and then way to sugary sweet at the end. Certainly not a waste of time to read, but I’m not overly compelled to read the next in the series. If vanilla is your thing, I’m way wrong and you need to read this! :-).

Megan and Ford stole my heart. The instant attraction makes this couple wary, but the chemistry is overwhelming. The storytelling is well paced and I was rooting for them so much. Their HEA brought a smile and a sigh.

Ford : Finding His Fire Bid 3 Security Book 1 by P.J.Fiala. This was a great book and the first I’ve read by this author . The connection that Ford and Megan had from the start was amazing and so heartwarming . I highly recommend this book.

It’s a Fantastic story!. Ford Montgomery always gets his man or woman in this case. He gets more than he bargained while on the hunt to find the man that murdered his parents he meets Megan and this bounty hunter is hypnotized by the auburn haired beauty. The connection they feel is instant. But Megan is in danger and Ford vows to protect her. I love the suspense danger and edge of your seat drama. I also love the strength of the characters And goodness the passion they share is some pretty steamy stuff! “I voluntarily received this arc book for an honest review”

All is not what it seems on either side and both Ford and Megan may finally find their love of a lifetime.

Steamy, Small Town, Romantic Suspense. This is am enjoyable read, with likable characters and a good suspense element. It flows together well and was well written. The characters are fantastic and I loved their interactions! The dynamic with Ford and his family was fun and I loved how Megan fit in with them! This book has plenty of steam, but still the sweetness to it. It does have some insta-love vibes, but it’s not a cheesy insta-love. It’s a sweet insta-love.

A waitress and a bounty hunter. A great story with an awesome ending! This book had me gripping my seat, holding my breath and crying somewhere throughput it. The author drew me 8th the story and I couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait to read more!

Very enjoyable. This was a really enjoyable read. Ford and Megan worked well together - I loved their interactions, banter, and chemistry. Loved the suspense.
