Fire and Shadow. First of all, this book was amazing with Fitzphie moments and hidden secrets!!! My favorite person is Fintin! Since of course, I love fire and boy villains. Tam is my second favorite, and his power is definitely cool (though fire will always be my fav.) These books are some of the best stories in relationships and hidden plots, so watch out! (And by the way if these books have goblins, trolls, elves, gnomes, and humans, where are the orcs, and more importantly, Where are the dragons!?) These books are great, love the detailed emotions and personalities. And I have to sadly admit that Alvar is also on my favorites list. Great book! Keep up the work! Your fans adore you!

WHY. I loved 99% of this book, but the ending is horrible. Not the cliffhanger, but the entirety of the ending- it was rising so high up, getting better and better, and then it dropped to a 30 minutes of frustration, tears, and hiding under my covers. I absolutely recommend this, but I also recommend skimming through the last 10-17 chapters. You’ll thank me later.

Kind of misleading. Great series and really good book but there’s a sticker on the cover which says there’s an extra scene from Keefe’s POV and it’s not actually included in the ebook... is there a way to fix that?

COUNTDOWN UNTIL LEGACY. ONE. MORE. DAY. these books are soo good I’m obsessed. This cliffhanger had me pulling my own eyelashes out. I actually can’t wait until tomorrow. I made a whole 6 day countdown.THIS HAS BEEN THE SLOWEST DAY EVER. I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR SIX. WHOLE.MONTHS. and legacy comes out TOMORROW. I am going to be really mad if I have to wait a whole year in anxiety because of another cliffhanger. I may actually die.

I L❤️VE THIS BOOK. This book is amazing, it did start getting a little mushy, but hey, it’s keeper of the lost cities. I love how Shannon Messenger mentioned Umber more and showed more of the power that shades can do. I hope Tam will come back, though I’m wondering if he’ll stay with the Neverseen. But I’m really angry because messenger ended the book by saying that Sophie Elizabeth Foster was UNMATCHABLE! It shouldn’t even be that way!

Huh.. Okaaay so this was pretty good honestly the first half Sophie was in bed rest and that was SLOW. I think some chapters were just Sophie sulking. I were like: can we get some team sofoster going or something, because she is a whiner!! But it was also great and I also think fitz needs to chill and I’m also kind of hoping for some team foster-tam and more keefie. Because fitz has serious rage issues. But I agree I knew that *spoiler alert!!!!* Alvar was gonna become bad. Also all the scenes I really wanted more of got interrupted!!! 🤬😡🤯 but yeah. You should get this book 📖.it’s good. My favorite characters: Ro Keefe Bo Elwin Bronte 😈 Silvenie Kesler All of them. Shannon, I mean it! Don’t ever stop writing this series. Ever. My great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandkids (lol) should be eagerly anticipating the next book. Manifest an ability to make you live forever or something.

I don’t know...... At this point I am reading this series for keefe. The thing is I don’t even like him and Sophie cuz Sophie became a jerk somwhere in the middle of this. But I need keefe to be happy and Fitz is a jerk to everyone but Sophie. That’s why people like him cuz he’s nice to the main character while he’s literally a creep to everyone else. Like what is up with him and keefe being bffs keefe is to good for him and in legacy basically keeps him and Sophie together cuz he’s a good person meanwhile fitz brings up all of heeded mistakes doesn’t care about how he feels and has temper tantrums. Also YOU DO NOT KILL UR BROTHER!!!!!!!!! That is an insane thing to almost happen and kind of proves what a creep he is. Also Sophie there’s a difference between oblivious and mean like when Jeff’s is almost crying after she and Fitz got together and he’s trying to hold himself together and be nice and she’s like”ok dk why ur being a jerk about this....” like Sophie if you want jerkiness look at your boyfriend. Also she is waaaaaay to hard on kkefe he should not have to apologize to her every time the wind blows!!!! Honestly I think he’s to good for her but I don’t want him to be hurt.... and honestly Sophie’s a better person when she’s with him. Anyway enough of that rant... DEX. AND BIANA. and seriously if u can’t keep track of the characters u have don’t bring in more!!!!! Like now we also have marella and Maruca and Wylie and who knows who else!! I like these characters but for the most part Sophie ignores them and then needs them so here we go!!! Also Biana is way more then Fitzs little sister so Sophie realty has to include her more. Also this is an eighth book reference but Sophie freaks out when she finds out dex and keefe have been doing one thing with out her while she leaves everyone out.... and then she proceeds to call dec sensative.... I have to say it’s hard to read a book where the main character is a self absorbed brat. Buuuuut.... Ro and keefe are😍😍 I will keep reading this series- in the beginning I loved it but you lost me. But I have to know what happens to my characters... hopefully in 8.5 Sophie will become a better person!!!!!

Ok this book was great, but I only gave it a 4 star review because like half the book was FITZ and Sophie stuck in a cot and it was super boring and because Fitzphie is da WORST!!!!!!! Go run of a cliff and die for all I care. Seriously he is a Jerk!!!! He blamed Sophie for what happened with Alvar at Everglen and then says he doesn’t when he totally does! Like, seriously man get your act together! Sophie and Keefe are so much more better together like seriously. Ok....... I love this series but this book was sort of boring nothing happened until like the 500th pg 😒😒😒 but anyway love this series can’t wait for the 9th or 10th (wtvr u wanna call it) book to come out

My seventh time reading the whole series. Flashback was good interesting it’s an excellent adventure book but I wish it was more like the other books ofkeeper of the lost cities

I am disappointed. Sorry to interrupt the people celebrating Fitzphie while the Sokeefe shippers are about to explode. First of all, before I get to Fitz and Sophie, the first 500 hundred pages of the book are complete and utterly torture. I don’t care about Sophie and Fitz laying in cots having their stupid flirting sessions I just want to get to the end so something exciting can happen. Something does happen but honestly its not too exciting and the rest of the book is mush. Honestly Fitz and Sophies relationship I do not stand at all, its like an alicorn being in love with a pathetic rat, obviously Fitz is the rat, he’s such a jerk and a creep and hes soooo rude! He literally almost murders his own BROTHER!!! LIKE GET SOME HELP DUDE. And then he blames Sophie for Dex’s tracker not working when it was even really her fault! He acted like she knew her fingernail gadget things were messing things up. And speaking of the jerk *cough* *cough* Fitz, lets be real here for a moment Fitzphie fans, this ship is a disaster and I’ve already read the Legacy book and I know Fitz and Sophie break up, so hurray, go find Keefe, like geez, Fitz is too jealous when Keefe is around Sophie, he’s too overprotective, and I think we all know that Keefe would never get super mad at Sophie for doing something-on accident and even if he did get angry at her, he would feel really bad after. Also to add to our little Rat Vacker guy, he acts like his life is so hard now that he knows Alvar is a traitor, he’s such a jerk! Keefe’s legit MOM lied to him his entire child hood and his dad was a straight up bully, while Fitz at least has his dad, mom and sister. LIKE GO TO THERAPY SESSIONS MY LORD FITZ! And the reason half of this review is me calling Fitz a jerk is because theres nothing else to talk about. Anyway this is probably the worst book so far, but the other books are really good.

It was good, except for Fitzphie. I loved Wynn and Luna, and the troll hive battle was also awesome! In addition to that, I loved Keefe and Ro’s beta, they were one of the best parts!! 💕💕💕 However there’s like 400 pages of nothing but filler and Fitzphie fluff that was totally unnecessary. A couple chapters in the healing center would be fine. I wish Shannon had given the page time that Sophie and Fitz laying in cots being mushy hat taken up to something more fun to read. And then of course there’s Fitzphie becoming official in the first place! Also, I feel like some of the other characters need more page time! But once I got past the healing center, it was really good I think besides the Fitzphie. So I gave this 3 stars, but took away one bc of the filler and one bc of the Fitzphie. But other than that it was pretty good. Also I just wanted to add that I was seriously annoyed by Alden’s little “talk” with Keefe that is VERY obviously meddling and manipulative! I kinda hate Alden now…

Hahahhahhahahhahja (spoilers on book eight ahead). Flashback is great. I had such fun reading the Alicorn part. I LOVE LUNA AND WYNN!I just didn’t like the hospital time. Legacy came, and FITZPHIE Is gone!!! Siphie dumps him in legacy. Keefe is sooo gonna win, Shannon totally set it up. Sorry fitzphie fans. What I think is gonna happen, is that since Keefe was in a coma at the last part of the book, Sophie is gonna realize that Keefe is in love with her once he’s been gone for so long. She’ll realize how much she needs him, then...mushiness will be ahead.... 😐😐😐🤔Then the end of the book nine will have be greattttttt ending. Hopefully tam gets over himself. Poor linh!

Meh 😒. This book is fine. The other books will always be better, but I don’t really care. I mean, fitz is a 😳%)’+$@#🙃, and Keefe is twice As cool. And most of the fandom agrees with that (as when Shannon asked on social media ice blue or teal, the boys eye colors, and we got a pretty good amount of ice blue). But the book is ok. I know some people love and some want you to skip it, but over all, read it, because as cheesy or boring as it is, the book is important. Really much so.

Soooo awesome!!!, but.... This book was great, but I did feel like there wasn’t enough of Dex in the book. I also don’t like that Sophie just got together with Fitz and we readers find out at the end that she is unmatchable!! WHT DA HECK, and Don’t think I haven’t read the other reviews, people agree. And what is up with Fitz and Sophie’s “moments” getting interrupted, however I read those parts like 100000x1000 times!! My grandparents just ordered me the eighth book, Legacy, and I am soooooo excited too read it. A Harry Potter fan. I can’t believe I’m saying this but this book might be better than Harry Potter or equal to it . Same deep story and extensive back story LOVE IT❤️❤️❤️💕

So so so good.. It might be my fav one in the series (other than the first one) they’ve mostly figured out the love triangle, and it has the classic Shannon Messenger cliff hanger. So I cannot wait for number 8.
