Laugh out loud sweet romance. Read this in two sittings. Multiple laughs in this one. With some serious topics well written in.

Good but not great 4.5 stars. Ok so I debated about 4 or 4.5 stars because I was a little disappointed with the story. The first half of the book was somewhat uninteresting to me but it did pick up really well. My dilemma stems from the fantastic first book in the series, Studmuffin Santa which I gave 5 stars. This one wasn’t as funny or steamy as the first one but I was expecting it to be. All in all I still thought it deserved better than 4 stars. I love all of the siblings in the series so I will definitely be reading the rest of the books in the series. Until next time folks happy reading.

Sweet And Sexy, With A Side Of Laughter. I’ve long been a fan of Tawna Fenske, and her latest doesn’t disappoint. Amber and Sean are a great couple and it was fun getting to know them and being introduced to at least a few of Sean’s siblings. Amber was first introduced in the fantastic “Studmuffin Santa” and I’m glad she found her own happily ever after. Tawna is building a wonderful, quirky, hilarious and sexy world with this new series, and Sean and Amber start it off right. I almost always develop a crush on Tawna’s guys, and Sean has definitely been added to the list. This book was sweet, sexy, touching and funny. I can’t wait for more adventures at the Ponderosa Resort! Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Chef Sugarlips. A good book

Thoroughly enjoyable. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. I did not think the author could top Studmuffin Santa, but she did. Sean and Amber are so perfect for each other and yet they wreak havoc on each other's emotions. The underlying theme in this book appears to be self confidence and trust, both in yourself and others. Amber doesn't trust herself to pick a guy who will stick. Sean has been hiding a family secret for years from everyone. Can these two trust each other enough to open up and show their demons? Ms. Fenske knows how to weave everyday issues into a story and make it real. And the meatball massacre ... I have never laughed so hard. I'm beginning to think the author had this actually happen to her in real life. There's no other way to be able to describe the scene in such detail unless you've lived through it. A definite read. Yes it has a little bit of heaviness, but it also has fun and adventure.

Too cute. This was a typical romance and I loved it. Funny unexpected things happen along with serious plot twist. Most of all true love and a happy ending.

Sweet Romance. This romance goes from childhood to adulthood with lots of turns along the way! Love this part of the series with Sean and Amber!

Cute romcom. Super cute, funny RomCom. Sean first saw Amber while visiting his father, when he was eight and she was six, and was smitten. He saw her again when she was skinny dipping in his father’s pond when she was 18 and he was 20, and he felt the same pull. Fast forward eight years, and Sean and his extended family are starting a luxury resort next door to Amber’s reindeer ranch. Both characters are sweet, and carry baggage from their youth that threatens to keep them apart. I really loved this story and cannot wait to read the next story in the series.

RomCom: Some Laugh-Out-Loud Moments Ensure It Stays Entertaining. Flawless Amber and Chef Sean have history ... well, at least each of them has their own separately in the same town and Sean’s crush on her goes back to a certain skinny dipping incident he observed during their schooldays. And because he is nearby preparing to open a restaurant on an Oregon luxury resort development he and his siblings are establishing, when she needs trendy, Michelin-star-worthy wedding reception food catered for a client on short notice, of course he is the obvious choice. Cue the hospitality-related antics and mixed business and pleasure relationships for a story with many highlights; among others, they include reindeer, X-rated cookies, exploding meatballs, and teenagers’ initials carved into a certain tree. The story has its moments when you cringe a little for the protagonists who navigate too-human moments like we all have had, when our insecurities and fears lead us to say and do things to loved ones that are likely to engender the opposite of what we were really wanting. But it is also what makes the story too, because the fantasy parts with wealth, prestige, and unexpected kindness featuring large in the HEA ending notwithstanding, seem more plausible than otherwise they would. This is the first book I have read by Tawna Fenske and I appreciated the smooth flow of the story and main characters’ development as individuals and as they navigate their budding romance toward becoming a couple and also coming to terms with significant influences from their respective pasts (vague I know, but no spoilers!). Fenske is a storyteller I will happily read more of and I aim to do just that!

Loved this laugh-out-loud story!!. Loved this laugh-out-loud story! I can’t say this enough! I loved this book! Tawna never ceases to exceed my expectations! I found this book hilarious, from the initial awkward meeting, to reindeer mating information, to the meatballs at a wedding reception, I laughed from the beginning, throughout this book. Sensitive issues are approached with consciousness and sympathy, drawing in the reader to the environment and feelings, while the chemistry between Amber and Sean start at their meeting and grows throughout their story. I highly recommend this book! Like all of Tawna Fenske books, you’ll find yourself literally laughing out loud and looking for your own Chef Sean!

I’m loving this series. I’m loving this series. It has laughter and heart and so much emotion. I love how these books blend side-splitting funny situations with deeply touching moments. The underlying message of this story seems to be all about how we respond to other people’s opinions of us; living up (or down) to their expectations. Amber was always seen as ‘the perfect girl’, and perfect is a really hard standard to maintain. Sean might have a bit of a martyr complex. He’s bad at opening up to other people but very good at looking after them. He’s been half in love with Amber from the time he first saw her. But will those feelings survive him getting to know the real Amber instead of the fantasy girl who’s lived in his mind all this time?
