more drama and furry fun. Smooshie and Lily both seem to have noses for trouble. At first glance, a cougar shifter and a pretty pitty might seem an odd match, but they seem to work well together. Smooshie and Lily really seem to rescue each other- and they do it time and again. Both also seem to have a knack for investigating and they are a boon to friends, both four legged and two legged, as well as shifters who are sometimes both. Love solves everything between this pair, even as it provides them with a wealth of suspects for a man gone astray, and someone with a nasty streak. In the end, aside from her witchy bestie , for Lily, her four legged bestie is Smooshie! 📕📗📘📙 After a recent re-reading, this was my latest feedback: Lily is finally ready to take her GED exam just as gal pal Reggie's daughter and her buddy Addy get ready for their graduation abusive husbands, pistol packing women, other women holding together or working to tear others apart make for drama and action packed reading along with an heroic pittie or two, and some serious and lusty mate type action, this is a howling good read!

Twisting and turning. I loved this book! It is now one of my many favorites because of its futuristic, yet pioneering approach to those who hear voices in their heads. It makes them seen as something other than a charity case, and this book brings them in as heroes and special creatures that are trained to do amazing things. If you like books that leave you contemplating your life, this one is for you!😄👏

Amazing. I absolutely loved ember’s journey with her mind and how the author perfectly conveyed her deepest feelings and emotions perfectly especially about Taren and the institute!!! Would definitely recommend to my friends😁!!!!!!!

Gateway. Ember Lyons isn’t surprised to wake up in a mental hospital. She is surprised to wake up at all. When a voice starts filling her mind with suggestions, she assumes her mother has passed her mental illness to her. But her time in the hospital convinces her that maybe she isn’t crazy after all. Then she finds herself at the Institute trying to save the world from creatures no one believes exists. Will she survive the fight? Intriguing story. Towards the end, the underlying love story started to detract from the main story though.
