Disjointed POV. Some chapters use first person POV (only Abby’s) white others use third person. It was a decent story, but the constant switching was disconcerting. Either commit the entire book to 3rd person or have everything be first person from Abby or Jordan’s POV.

Anytime. If a book opens with a punny joke that, not only catches me off guard, but makes me laugh out loud, I can’t turn it away! This story opened hilariously, went through a great building of characters, and ended in a very sweet way. What more could I ask for?

Bad Night Stand. Decent story, ending with a HEA. I’ll read more from this author. Forewarning this story includes a child with a heart condition which can be a PTSD trigger for mothers of kids with CHD.

Total Romance. Had me smiling and wanting to finish in one sitting. Great to have a complete story in one book. Has enough of a storyline to keep it interesting.

Should have been better.. The POV constantly changes which takes focus away from the story. There should only be one point of view not toggling between chapters. There wasn’t really much development, or it was very poor. Too many things were mentioned and not properly explored. Her relationship with her father, why he used her to steal secrets, how her father used her to steal the info, how/what were the results of the trap they set. I mean these things were vital, more important than the point about the cell phone(which is so dumb and doesn’t make sense why he would even do that if he has a sick nephew), the part about the deodorant. Pointless chapters of nothing should have been filled with real dialogue and discovery. They had and still have a surface level relationship we didn’t see them grow or get to know each other. They shared one little sob childhood story and were back into relationship bliss. 🙄. Then as you get to the end of the book, the authors starts jumping and speeding up 1 week, 3 weeks, 4 months later(because she wasted time). For 600+ pages this should have been a COMPLETE book instead we got this brain storing session. Poor execution of drama, resolve and plot. So I guess my 2 stars are generous. I’d skip the book for the fact I still have questions and feel like my time was wasted. I’ll pass on the other 9 books also.

Romantically Suspenseful. There were plenty of plot twist that had me on edge. The bumpy love story couldn’t have been more entertaining giving that it wasn’t you’re usual smooth romance. Nicely executed and for that I rate this book a 10/10!!!

Loved the story. Very cute story. Actually surprised me. I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. Initially, Abby drove me crazy. She was so down on herself or rather her looks. Her best friend, in her eyes, was absolutely beautiful. Model like. Abby was content to be the sidekick. It wasn’t until Jordan told her he was not interested in her friend and thought Abby was beautiful, and the fact that she kept contradicting him was pissing him off. That comment changed my initial expectation of the book for the better. Such a touching story. Some heart breaks, misunderstandings and lots of laughter. Abby and Jordan were ridiculous. Great story. First time reading this author. Will continue to read her work. Highly recommend.

ok… I didn’t finish it.. I wish I were the type of person to finish every book I started, but unfortunatley life is to short to waste precious hours and minutes on an “ok” book. I read half of it and some of the chapters were just empty dialogue, like they talk about deoderant, finish eaitng chinese food, and they move on to chorcheting, Initially, I thought it would be good. Jordan seemed like the perfect guy even though he bailed on her on thir first night together, which resulted in her getting pregnant. Then, there was a small twista nd Jordan seemed like an ass. Then, it changed and Jordan apolgoized and tried. I feel like Abigail let him off the hook too easily, but I kind of like when the main characters have to chase a bit. After a wile it just got boring. they are together and happy and I feel like what’s the point of reading on. The characters are already together.

Hilarious and Human. Funny dialogue leads you through a touching human story and keeps you riveted! My favorite parts are the snarky back and forth - lots of laughs that I just HAD to share with my hubby!

Amazing read!. Absolutely LOVED this book!! Couldn’t put it down.

Bad Night Stand. The book was okay lots grammar and some misspelling so it took awhile to make sense in certain scene which was frustrating and the story line that tried to achieve wasn’t bad but very predictable. The characters Jordon and Abigail were lacking and boring but neither less at the same in the were both sweet.

Not for me. Very slow and Jordan came across as really creepy and cringey.

Bad Night Stand. I loved this book. The story is well written and the plot flows smoothly. The characters are terrific despite being a bit jaded. Abigail is very witty and snarky, while Jordan is a bit of a workaholic from a very complicated family background. The author writes a very bad initial interaction between the two, that the reader thinks it can only be better from here on. No, not at all. Abigail and Jordan both jump to conclusions about each other which ensures a weird, but funny, journey towards their happy ever after. Do they find it? I’ll happily recommend you read this one to find out. I was hooked from beginning to end. I’ve not read Elise Fabre before, but I’ll certainly be watching out for more from this talented author. Bad night stand. I truly enjoyed reading this story

3 1/2 Stars. Jordan and Abby have a one night stand ... and a bad one at that. Jordan became a billionaire when he sells his tech business and Abby gets hired by the new owner as a graphic designer. But everything goes really bad when Abby finds out she's pregnant with Jordan's baby. I have read other books by this author and really enjoyed then, but this one had me confused. It start out really strong and I really had to laugh at what happened at their one night stand. But then Jordan just became a real jerk for no good reason, but he did redeem himself later on. Then the plot twisted to espionage and then to a sick child ... I just found they really didn't mesh that well and it was too much for one book. That being said, I really enjoyed the friendship that the ladies had and the next book is set up really good and can't wait to read it! “BAD NIGHT STAND” BY ELISE FABER. Abigail? What an atrocious name. Jordan seems unbelievable in his apparent attraction of Abigail. REALLY hilarious to read about the BAD one night stand. I loved how things kept getting messed up. A true comedy of errors. Funny and sweet. A great cast of characters. Loved it!
