Another great one!. In this new book, we get the story of Delaney and Sean, who were introduced in Can’t Take My Eyes Off You. I really like Kait’s writing and I love the continuity of the characters in Wishful, I wanted to feel like I got to know Delaney better. I usually feel like the characters could be my friends, and I didin’t get that in this book. The writing is so good, and I still want to live there, but this book is only 4 stars for me. Southern romance and suspense. Awesome story with great characters. Delaney and Sean make a great couple. She is accused of a crime she didn’t commit and he backs her up all the way. Just enough intrigue to keep you turning the pages as quick as possible! Great read!

Let it pour. Sean and Delaney’s romance ignites with a flashpoint scenario, and the story takes off from there. It’s lovely to see Delaney get her HEA, and a bit of closure-slash-healing in the process. It was a very satisfying installment of the Wishful series. Suspenseful. I love Kait Nolan Wishful Suspense series! Can't Stand the Rain is a page turner that I could not put down. Not knowing about Delaney's past Sean Murphy asked Delaney out after they finished an EMT class. When he finds out he is there to support her. Delaney's the only support has been her Aunt and things are happening again and people are pointing to her as the culprit. Can't Stand the Rain is suspenseful with twists and turns and a thoroughly enjoyable read. I highly recommend reading it! hero #4 - Can’t stand the rain. hero #4 - Can’t stand the rain Kait sucked me into her world and let me escape life for a few hours. I’m really enjoying her hero series, they have a bit of everything: suspense, drama, triller, and of course Romance. I liked the plot twists in Delaney and Sean’s story. Sean is a loyal standup guy; you’ll have a hard time not falling for him or rooting for them. I’ve read almost all Kait’s books and she has yet to disappoint. Heart Warming. I absolutely loved this book! I couldn’t put it down.. much like all of Kait Nolan’s books. Delaney is a character who we were introduced to in another story. I am glad she got her own story so we could learn more about her and see her life get turned around. Delaney made some really bad mistakes and is being reminded of them constantly. Unfortunately that is what happens in a small town. Sean is new to town and there is an instant attraction between the two. Delaney is happy to meet someone who doesn’t know about her past. Unfortunately there are several incidents that force her to tell him about her past. There is love.. there is mystery.. and lots of romance! Sizzling Hot!. That was one hot book! The sizzling relationship between Delaney and Sean was fantastic! I never saw how the plot went that was a total twist but in an awesome way because it hooks you and you cannot put the book down. I know I couldn’t! I loved it! Great Job again Kait! Can’t wait to read more of Wishful Romance! As always ;)

Small town mystery. This book follows Delaney who we met in a previous book. Her past is still following her. We. Found out she has some mental health issues that let to her previous actions. She has been treated and is moving forward with her life. She meat Sean and they have both been doing thing just to spend time together. They finally come clean with each other and start dating. Delaney’s past starts to haunt her as someone is starting fires and throwing the blame her way. Sean knows it can’t be true and tries to get to the truth. Summer heat. Delaney, always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and with her broken past who can believe she is now a good girl trying to find her place in Wishful’s small town. Sean is the new hot shot (wildfire firefighter that is) who has been crushing on Delaney for far too long. The book started a little slow, but picked up quickly and had me guessing ‘who done it’. I didn’t see if coming for a while, but I did see the strong bond that Sean had for Delaney and her happy ending that she didn’t see coming. It was worth the read! Latest Wishing for a Hero book does not disappoint. This is the latest in the Wishful - Wishing for a Hero series, and this novella does not disappoint in any way. Kait’s books are a joy to read, and this is no exception. I love this series with added tension and action, although the original sweet Wishful series and fun and feisty Misfit Inn series are also fantastic. This series provides great romance, intrigue and suspense, whilst still a happy and joyful love story. This adventure between Delaney, a Wishful local still trying to find redemption and acceptance in this small town, and Sean, new to Wishful and their volunteer fire department, is a powerful story of overcoming history and expectations and finding your ‘person’ to make that journey and any struggles worthwhile. As ever I highly recommend this book, and all of Kait Nolan’s series. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Burn for You. Light intriguing romance, with a couple of twists and turns.

Steamy love story with a bit of suspense and a whole lot of romance!. I absolutely loved Delaney and Sean's story! Their relationship blossomed slowly at first, with Sean realising that he needs to take it slow with Delaney, but boy does it get hot and steamy. Sean is not only a sexy firefighter, he is also a gentleman and even a little old fashioned - the way he cares for and about Delaney's needs is just swoon worthy. As for Delaney, she is like a beautiful phoenix - rising from the ashes of her past, tainted with bad choices and mental health issues, into a beautiful, strong woman who deserves every moment of happiness she can get. Kait Nolan did a remarkable job with the mental health angle - accurately portraying how life can and does go on after diagnosis, as long as you receive the proper treatment. It was tastefully done and hats off to her for tackling such a sensitive subject so well. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who loves a little bit of sizzle with a whole lot of heart melting romance. I can’t get enough of Wishful. It’s really very simple: I can’t get enough of Wishful. Whether it’s the lighter, sillier side of the original Wishful series or the darker, intrigue-filled Wishing for A Hero series, I want to read everything I can get my hands on about this little southern town. Every one of her citizens is unique. Some are completely lovable, others are less so. Delaney and Sean? I completely adore. Thanks to some bad decisions in her past, Delaney’s now the town scapegoat just about any time something goes wrong. Sean’s new to Wishful and doesn’t know about her past mistakes. That makes his good opinion of her absolutely precious. From past experience with this author’s books, I knew the solution couldn’t be as simple as it first appeared. The twists and turns this pair have to go through for their relationship and to figure out what’s going on kept me turning pages, anxious to find out where I was being led. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book.

Excellent read. Who hasn’t made a bad decision in their lives? Delaney made some bad decisions and the people of this small town think she has reverted to her past when similar things begin to happen. Sean is new in town and doesn’t know Delaney’s past poor decisions. She is thrilled that it doesn’t matter to him and he stands beside her when no one else does. This story has some twists and turns that drew me in and I couldn’t stop reading it.
