Great book!. I nearly always enjoy books with Navy Seals and this was no exception. Intrigue, danger, romance, and love all star in this story.

This brand new series is absolutely stupendously wonderful!!!. This is Susan Stoker’s first book in her new Seals Legacy series. This is Rocco and Caite’s story. Caite is a contractor for the government in the Middle East. Rocco is a Navy seal. They meet when the elevator they’re on (along with 2 of his teammates), gets stuck. They get through that, and their lives move on. Until Rocco misses his date with her. Totally stood her up. The next day, she overhears how he’s been “captured” and will be killed in a days time. She does the unthinkable...literally. She saves his life, at night, alone. He gets sent on a mission, she gets sent home, and he has to track her down when he gets back. Some things start happening around her, but it’s just random happenings...right? Someone couldn’t be out to kill her right?? Wait until you find out how and why Rocco got his nail name...bwahahahaha Wait until you see the teaser for Gumby... Wait until you see this ending... This story will keep you on the edge of your seat!!!!

Securing Love. What a fantastic story. This is the start of a great series. Loved every word. I highly recommend this book.

Securing caite. Lots of action as a civilian becomes involved with a navy seal team on a mission. A “whodoneit “ and romance combined. Page turner.?

Sigh. I’m so glad to have found this author. Everything I have read so far has been great. Strong women helping the brave men. ❤️

Securing Caite. I will give this book 4 1/2 stars. Very interesting and it kept moving throughout. The only negative was ending the book before the trip to her parents and getting married. No mention of his parents either.

Review. I really enjoyed this book. It was nice a bonus to have the SEALS from the other storylines included in this book.

Susan has done it again. Susan Stoker writes excellent romance with lots of suspense but she has really outdone herself with this book. Securing Caite is the first book in her new Seal of Protection: Legacy series. YAY, we have a new crop of Navy Seals. I absolutely enjoyed Susan's introduction to our new seal team. If you want to read a book that will have you saying "just one more chapter", you need to read Securing Caite. I could not put the book down. I can not remember when I have ever read a book I loved so much.

Great pace and suspense!. This is a really fun book! It follows Caite, a DoD employee working in Bahrain, when she meets and falls for Rocco, a military man who is stationed at her base. However, things go south very quickly and Caite - a self professed homebody and pretty timid - has to save the day. Stoker’s heroines are never timid but it was great to see a lady seriously kicking butt! This book is heavily billed on the romance side of “romantic suspense” but it actually works well on the suspense side, too. It can be a little over the top at times but everything works, the pace is fast, and the characters are all really likeable - except for the known baddies, of course. It was a really enjoyable read! I recieved a complimentary copy of this book for review courtesy of the author’s promotional team.

Securing Caite. This is the typical Navy SEAL alpha male meets scrappy independent female but just because it’s typical doesn’t mean the book isn’t interesting. I was looking for a book in this genre and this hit the HEA mark! While this is a stand alone novel, it’s part of the SEALs of Protection: Legacy series. If you’ve already read the book bundles for the SEALs of Protection series, you’ll find some of the friends from that series playing a part in the Legacy series as well.

Loved the book!. This story was great - not your typical romance storyline. Even though the part in “dark” part of Manama is highly unlikely, the book still gets five stars from me. The author has a good writing style and can write without error.

Susan Does it Again!!. Securing Caite was fantastic! I loved the relationship that was quickly formed between Caite and Rocco. I can’t wait for the rest of the series! Also, I loved that Susan included the other Seal team from her other series, and I loved that she updated us with what they were doing!

Thank God that’s over. I’ve never been so happy to see a book end. I can’t stand whiny, wimpy heroines who need the big bad man to take care of them. Why do they have to be airheads?

Great new series!. Having read other books by Susan Stoker, I knew this would be a good new series but I was surprised by how much I would like it. I’ve read this book 3 times over and I still love it. As much as I love the others. Must read!

Caite rescued. I am a new reader to this author and still love her guts and glory characters. This started as a little sappy the way Caite met Rocco but was definitely unrealistic even if you don’t know muslim customs. Each woman in many of the series seems to find this inner strength to do what needs to be done to protect their man and vice versa, but as the say, Seals are the weapons and there are parts I would LOL and others that were pure joy to read. I have enjoyed some of Wolf’s team and imagine this series may be similar. I think it is worth the read.

There are no words worthy enough. I have been reading Susan’s books for about 2 years now and I was hooked the moment my college roommate convinced me to read Caroline’s story. I binge read everything I could, spending my last dollars on these books. Susan never disappoints and this is no exception. Caite’s story is just magnificent and I cannot wait to learn about the rest of the team falling in love. This is definitely going up there with my favorites of hers. Right next to Caroline and Corrie and Sophie .... I could go on and on. This story won’t disappoint, it’s full of romance, suspense, and plenty of “awe” moments that left me smiling. Cannot wait for the next one !!!

I feel in love with the characters!. Ugh I loved this book so much that I want to read it all over again and I just finished it. Writer was very descriptive, I could picture everything as if I watching it on tv. I was nice, and you just want to know more and more about the characters, so glad it’s a series!

Always a fresh story line!. This is book one in the SEAL of Protection: Legacy series and it features Rocco and Caite. She’s inexperienced, scared but brave at the same time. Perfect for Rocco! I’ll never get tired of watching these bad a&& SEALs find their better halves. Rocco is the big bad alpha man but is so tender with Caite. I love his over-protectiveness and her ability to except it. The way she was accepted by the other SEALs brought tears to my eyes. The story line has fantastic suspense and great flow. The characters this author has in ALL her books are ALWAYS amazing. Every one has a fresh story line that I always look forward to reading.

Steamy!. The first book in this new series is Caite and Rocco. They have an unusual meeting and continue to have some road blocks thrown in their way. Of course they get their HEA,! Excited to see the rest of the team get their stories.

Exciting!!. This is a page turner and I loved it!! Caite and Rocco are perfect for each other! Their story is exciting, action packed, edge of your seat drama all while being sexy and romantic.

A great start to a new series. A great start to a new series. I was really excited to read this new series by Susan Stoker. I wasn't disappointed as I got laughter, sadness, the typical but not quite over the top aloha seal and intrigue. Caite is in Bahrain working as an assistant to a not so nice boss who reminds her that someone else should of had the job. As a conference gets underway she over heard something in French and glad of her skills wonders who to call Rocco is a seal and is in Bahrain on a mission. He meets Caite in the lift. As a mission goes wrong and unlikely source rescued him and his two team mates. From here it's a race against time as Caite's life is put in danger from unknown sources as they try to kill her. With things hitting up, will Rocco and his team find the mole and person doing this before they kill Caite? A great read from start to finish. I loved all of the characters and the story line plus it was great to see some of the older characters that I have come to love. I can't wait for the next book.

Blake (aka Rocco) & Caite - recommend!. Really loved how this story jumped right into things - nothing worse than reading a third of a book before anything of real interest happens. Caite and Rocco are instantly attracted to one another and have a memorable first time meeting in a broken down elevator. I was not fond of how low Caite’s self esteem was about herself and her body image, but was glad to see Rocco consistently reinforce to her how amazing she was, inside and out. I enjoyed their deep emotional connection, especially considering she saves his life and he later saves hers. They both realized they were in love with one another before going to bed together to further solidify the bond between them. The intimate scenes were also well written - hot, hot, hot! I also loved how much of a family the SEALs all were and how they came together to protect Caite when things got dicey, as well as just to support her.
