Review on His Submissive. This book was extremely captivating. The drama and the exhilarating x details were a hook. Very very good.

It was ok. There was tension and buildup between the two characters later on in the story. I liked that. I think the storyline was a bit rushed at times and inconsistent. The female lead acted more like a girlfriend the majority of the time than a person on the job. And for someone so famous/rich, I feel like the male lead should have had more difficulty maneuvering through public areas than he did.

Don’t bother. #metoo scene right away in first pages of first chapter and then 50 shades knock off

Love it!. Good story line, great characters that rope you into their life! Romance and heat without vulgarity.

This really caught my attention!. I really enjoyed this novella. I spend days looking for books that make me imagine myself as the heroine but this one had me begging for my husband to read as well!

Awesome!. This is a wonderfully-well-written book! There are parts of it that resemble the 50 Shades series, but overall in my opinion it’s much better than 50 Shades. The plot is great with well-established characters. I just wish this book would have been longer in length!!Wonderful!!

Best book I’ve read in a long while!. I haven’t been reading very much lately but when I came across this book last night I couldn’t stop reading. Stayed up until 3AM trying to finish the first book. Finally did this morning and I’m in awe. I NEED to start reading the second one and find out where the author takes the story. I’m so intrigued!

Implausible insta-love with tons of typos. Almost no character development, just insta-lust that converts immediately to “love” for no apparent reason except orgasms. Tons of typos, the most annoying and repetitive one being that the author (I presume there was no editor?) believes that crying = balling, as in “ball my eyes out”.

Something different. I was hesitant on reading this book because of the title. It turned out to be a great read. I loved how it had more to the story than just erotic parts. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Where have I seen this before...?. It’s basically Fifty Shades of Grey but less sex and the girl works for him. But once I got over that factor, it was very well written and grabbed my attention! His Submissive by Ava Claire. A great beginning of a story about a billionaire an his Assistant. His PR firm has a client that wants him, but he’s trying to keep it business only. They are enjoying being out of the country. End of the book one they go for gelato.

His submissive. I’ve read this book at least three times and it just gets sexier every time. Jacob is a hotshot star maker; he hires Leila as his secretary, and off they go to the to babysit the star, Rachel. You know the type; spoiled, and Goddess’s gift to men. Jacob introduces Leila to the world of BDSM; not too detailed, you’ll need your imagination 🤭 I was disappointed Jacob immediately started the spanking - maybe begin with the passionate, tearing off clothes, hot and fast sex - anyhoo, it worked for them. The more I read it, it made sense, Jacob feels comfortable with Leila so he’s showing her what pleases him(she’s the submissive, but she has to agree to everything, or it doesn’t happen)they really are on equal footing in the relationship. Rachel has an unhealthy obsession for Jacob and she’s ready to throw Leila to the wolves(paparazzi) the plan works, Leila tries to explain why she lied to him, but all he hears is her betrayal. The reunion starts out gentle; if you don’t count Jacob wanting to tear Leila’s “date” limb from limb, once in the limo, the kissing is hungry, but gentle(is that a thing?) and quickly, Jacob must “punish” Leila for an infraction….the spanking was interesting, it truly wasn’t punishment, it got the lovers promising love and forever There is an HEA

Really great summer read. I enjoyed it. It was cute and you see the character development in their love story.

Jacob seems to be a stuck up man with money but his true colors shine towards the end. Hopefully in the next books he will continue to brighten his colors through Miss Montgomery!

I want to continue reading!. When I met the main character and read Leila it reminded me of fifty shades of grey and I rolled my eyes. Thinking to myself “here we go a fan fiction of a fan fiction”, but I’m glad I kept reading. This book draws you in and makes you not want to put it down. Now I’m off to read book 2.
