Great read. A real page-turner.

Wolf Pack. C.J. Box. Game Warden Joe Pickett and Nate Romaninski have confronted and succeeded in taken down a muderous Sinola Cartel assassins known as the Wolf Pack.Their primary targets were a group of informents who worked for them in New Jersey moving narcotics. They were offered by the FBI witness protection program. This is an extremely fast paced read!!! Enjoyed immensely!! My highest recommendation!!

Box keeps getting better. This episode in the Joe Pickett saga kept me on the edge of my seat. Masterful, frightening and spellbinding. Please tell me there is another on the way!

As an avid reader, I am frequently disappointed as of late by those authors banking on their well-earned franchises as opposed to their talent—especially those dead authors who interestingly are churning out more product after their demise. They just keep getting better. I’d never heard of CJ Box before I started this series. I started with Open Range a year ago and can’t stop. And the stories just get keep getting better.

A letdown. I love this series but for some reason this plot didn’t keep me turning pages like most of the others in the series.

Wolf Pack. I have read all 18 of the Joe Pickett novels. Wolf Pack is exciting and a great read. Box does not bother to develop the main characters to their full extent, since he has developed them over the course of the series. With that in mind, Box gets away with telling a very good story without a great deal of detail. Short or long, I will be ready to read the next one.

Great Read. All I can say is, what a finish!!! I was cursing Joe Pickett for his slowness putting his clues together, but the action at the end earned incredible redemption for the overall read.
