Beckett!!!. Once again Kaylea Cross has brought her characters to life in an interesting hard to put down book. From the first page I was hooked on Beckett Hollister, and wanted to know who his true love would be. Sierra was just the woman for him. I loved their interactions, and loved their happy ending even more. I look forward to the next books in the series.

Fractured honor. A poignant reminder of how difficult it is for our warriors to resume their lives. Once again, finding love seems to help. There are some strange plot twists that come out of nowhere.

Fractured Honor. I enjoyed reading this book. The characters were interesting and their back story was woven throughout the book rather than a single paragraph here and there. I was completely surprised by the climax. Two thumbs up. 👍🏼👍🏼

The people feel real, and the details are amazing.. Research was certainly done for various terms; I am not too sure for the military structure, but the medical terminology appears legitimate. This is not the fantasy bedtime story- the characters go through struggle, have good times and bad. Admittedly the ending feels rushed. The sequence of events, how people react. To me it feels possible that whatever happened did really occur. And could happen. I enjoyed this book, and I think I will continue the series.

New Beginning!. Incredible beginning to a new series!!! Crimson Point has the potential to be huge!!!! I LOVE when my favorite authors start something brand new….and Kaylea has done an awesome job setting this up. This is the story of Beckett and Sierra….it is a long, waiting to grow up, not being seen as the little sister, going off to war and coming home to heal story. The poignancy of the PTSD and a father’s terminal illness is the drama that the love story needs and the evil that plays into that part is not what you expect. Plus you are introduced to the upcoming characters and setting up the background stories in such a way that you know you will be one-clicking that preorder!!! And WALTER!!!! My heart was stolen by an old, broken down bassett hound rescued from certain death. How can you not love any story with a lovable dog and a cute kid who saves him?? I can’t wait to see this community develop and grow!!!!

Noah and Poppy’s story is next in Buried Lies. The world building follows the romance between Sierra and Beckett, as well as the crumbling relationship between Carter and Molly. Carter suffers with the lingering after affects of head injuries suffered during the war in Syria, injuries that are now contributing to the demise of his marriage. FRACTURED HONOR is a story of betrayal and revenge; honor and support; romance, love and happily ever after. The relationship between the tight-knit group of Special Forces soldiers struggles in the face of the knowledge that one of their own is facing a battle he is starting to lose. The premise is intriguing, engaging and realistic; the characters are damaged, spirited and colorful; the romance is seductive and spicy.
