3.5 Stars!. I'm a big fan of guy chasing girl stories and I thought we would see a lot of that based off the book description. Instead this was more of a story about Caitlin coming into her own. Caitlin is the heroine that's afraid of commitment. Her and Jonas has had a friends with benefits relationship for 2 years, until Jonas ruins it by asking for more from her. As much as Jonas loves Caitlin, he knows he needs to moves on when she refuses to date him. As much as I really liked these characters, this just had too much relationship angst for me to enjoy it to the fullest. I hated seeing Jonas dating someone else after Caitlin even knowing he tried with Caitlin and she turned him down. I don't easily relate to heroines who have commitment problems so it was not easy for me to understand her reasoning of letting Jonas slip through her fingers. What I did like was that it didn't take her long to realize she made a mistake. The only problem was Jonas was already dating someone else. Caitlin realizes she needed to put herself out there so she accepts her boss's request to beta test his new dating app for 28 days. This is more of what the book was about. We see her dating all these men who just couldn't compare to Jonas. Little does she know, Jonas has already realized his new girlfriend doesn't compare to her and has ended things. This is purely a personal preference but I just wanted more of this couple together and less the struggle of them finding their way back together. I did really love the ending and that epilogue was incredibly sweet.

Ok. I was excited to read Caitlin and Jonas' story after meeting them in the first book in this series but I'm not sure this book lived up to my expectations. Caitlin is a commitment-phobe. She's the one ends things when Jonas says that he wants more. This is where things started to get disappointing for me. She, who admittedly dates around and has no shame about this (as she shouldn't), doesn't pursue anyone else during the six months between her ending things with Jonas and starting to use the app. But Jonas, who was so in love with her that he couldn't keep going in this arrangement, was already dating someone else before things even ended and stayed with that woman for the entire six months they were apart. Disappointment amplified. These characters are connected to the ones in the first book in this series but there still seems to be zero overlap with the characters from book 2. I'm so confused about how that book fits in this series. I usually love books by this author. This one was ok but just missed the mark for me.

Entertaining friends-to-lovers second chance romance!. 28 Dates by Stacey Lynn was an enjoyable read about finding the “right” one. Caitlin Pappas does not want a relationship. They are not for her. When her longtime friends-with-benefits wants more, they end things. Months later she is going to beta test a new app at work about finding the one in 28 dates. Jonas Reeves fell for Caitlin, but when he wanted to take it to the next level, she did not, even if he did mean something to her. Now she is dating off the app and Jonas sees his opportunity to win her back. There is some back and forth as Caitlin is not ready to let Jonas in, but he is not giving up. 28 Dates by Stacey Lynn was an entertaining friends-to-lovers second chance romance

Friends or More. The story begins with Caitlin and Jonas in a friends with benefits relationship. Caitlin has always been skittish when Jonas tries for more so he’s never brought up the fact that he wants MORE. He wants to see if they have what it takes for a committed relationship. Caitlin wants no part in a relationship. So Jonas walks out of her room and her life with hopes that she’ll stop him, give them a chance. No such luck. Six months later, Caitlin decides she needs to move on with her life. When her friend persuades her to beta-test the new dating app, she reluctantly agrees to a month of dating. She asks Jonas if she could use his bar as the “meeting” place for her dates as that’s the only place she feels safe. Jonas agrees, but also decides to put his own plan into motion. With the assistance of her friend, he sets up a profile and starts chatting with her via the app with hopes of proving how right they are for each other. While I truly enjoyed this novel, I didn’t get the title at all. Caitlin didn’t agree to 28 dates or go on 28 dates. With that said, I liked that Jonas (the guy) was actually the one who wanted more. There for awhile, I was hoping that Jonas would find someone that truly appreciated him and loved him. I’m glad that Caitlin finally realized that “the one” was right beside her the whole time. As a couple they completed each other. Apart, they were miserable. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

A very enjoyable story.. 28 Days by Stacey Lynn was good, but not quite what I’ve come to expect from her. Jonas and Caitlin have had a FWB affair for over two years and everything was fine, until Jonas decied he wanted to be a real couple. Caitlin is a commitment-phobe due to her past, and instead of embracing Jonas’ wishes she pushes him away, so far and so badly, he ends things. Caitlin finds herself alone and her app tech boss talks her into testing out his latest design. A dating app, of all things! She’s set to go on 28 dates to find her soulmate. But, he’s been waiting in the sidelines all along. So, now she’s out there in the real world meeting the creepy guys, the liars and maybe, just maybe the nice ones too. When Jonas discovers what’s happening, he takes matters into his own hands. If Caitlin is ready to date, then there’s only one guy for her. Him. he’s loved her for years, she just needs to open her eyes and see him. Who will she pick? Will she see the truth before it’s too late?

3 1/2 Stars. Caitlin and Jonas have had a friends with benefits relationship for 2 years and when Jonas says he wants "more" ... Caitlin says no and breaks it off with him completely. Six months down the road when Caitlin is trying a new dating app for her friend, Jonas takes this as his chance to win her over for good. Although the premise of this book is good, I found that I just couldn't get into it. I liked the charpacters well enough, I just thought that the book could have been more by detailing more of her "28" dates ... which we only heard about 3 or 4. But I really like that it was a flip of gender with Caitlin being the one that was a commitment phoebe and Jonas wanting "more". It was a good read, but I liked the last book in the series "Knocked Up" better. Great Friends to Lovers. This was my first Stacey Lynn's book, and won't be my last! This is the third book in the Crazy Love Series, and I absolutely have to read the first books in this Series! This is a great friends to lovers story. Caitlin and Jonas's story is sweet and beautifully written. Jonas is so handsome! The supporting characters are also very interesting. I love the friendship in this story. I enjoyed reading this story, and I'm looking forward for more books written by Stacey Lynn.

Enjoyed it. Really enjoying Stacey Lynn’s writing. I love how her characters are strong but fallible. Jonas is strong & he’s decided that after 2 yrs of friends with benefits he wants more from Caitlin. Caitlin has been put aside by everyone in her life since she was a child & expects it as an adult, she’s not looking for anything because she doesn’t think she deserves love. Jonas goes to extreme measures to get her attention using the same dating app that she’s using to test for her friend & boss Trey. I laughed & cried during this book because the dates Caitlin went on were hilarious at times & Jonas’s reaction & those of his bar employees was great. I’m looking forward to reading more. Definitely recommend. I received this book from Net Galley & voluntarily reviewed it.
