Haunting. Disjointed, almost painful to read. One dimensional characters, meandering plot and just plain weird. Many spelling and grammar errors. It was free yet I still feel ripped off.

Thriller. Had me on edge the whole book! First time reading from this Author and honestly if you love Darcy Coates books you’ll love Dominika Best!

The Haunting of Sunshine House. I loved it! For a paranormal story, it was actually very good & had a decent plot & well written.

Really great read. I thought this was a great read. From start to finish I was pulled into the story. The story has a great flow and is well written. A paranormal mystery that takes place in an assisted living home. I had a hard time putting the book down and would recommend reading. The haunting of sunshine house. This was a fascinating, chilling story! I couldn’t put it down until I finished it...even though I lost a bit of sleep. After reading this book, I don’t think I’ll agree to go into an assisted living facility anytime soon! Dominica Best is a gifted writer with a vivid imagination. She had so many twists and turns in the plot that I was totally surprised at the ending. Psychics, ghosts, serial murderer, historical ties to Germany’s horrific past all make one this one heck of a read! I highly recommend this book and author

Thriller and mystery. A lot to keep track of, but kept it very interesting. Love that it doesn’t really end. Some realism to the story . Story from a lot of different angles.

Not worth your time. Edited well. Interesting story line. I would skip this one. Plot line was discombobulated to say the least. It’s as if she started to tell the story and suddenly fell apart. Failure to complete the characters and their roles. But, hey, at least this one was free. Maybe she can do a better job in the future.

Decent easy read. It was an easy read. Not too suspenseful.

Exciting Straight to th End. This book held my attention for the entirety of it. I wasn’t able to guess “who dunnit” until the very end. Was it this character or that one? I found it to be suspenseful and exciting. One thing I always have a problem with is my thinking “oh come on! THAT wouldn’t happen in real life!” Most of the book was true to real life experiences. I would’ve enjoyed learning more about the history of Nurse Lou & Dads. I feel the author touched some of it but I was left wondering how, why, when. I truly enjoyed this book so much that I’m buying the others in the series!

Good story. Good story. It would have been nice if there was a conclusion, though. Was Sara okay? Did Murphy keep her job? Were the victims honored? Did anybody solve the haunting at the elderly home? I guess I have to answer those questions on my own.

Couldn’t really get into the book. Just wasn’t for me .

Didn’t like. I wasn’t crazy about this book. I saw many grammatical errors and the storyline was not scary nor thrilling. The ending just kind enough of left you still in suspense.

A page turner!. If I didn’t have multiple responsibilities, otherwise known as being an “adult,” I would have marathon read this book. It felt like a ghost story and an investigation at the same time. There were twists. There were turns. There were moments where I was 100% certain I wouldn’t want to close my eyes to sleep. There were times where I was genuinely saying, “That’s messed up!” to myself. And then there was a sprinkling of history thrown in that reminds you of the things people are capable of. It reminded me that if you’ve “survived” something, chances are you’re not the same person you were and never will be. I do wish there would have been a more finished ending for certain angles of this story, but I also like that there’s a promise of more to come. I prefer a story to be one that can stand on its own or have a sequel, but not leave a gigantic cliffhanger. I did learn something that I had once thought wasn’t true: Women do have Adam’s apples.
