Love this author!. After having read many other books of the same author, I know her books will always entertain. The strong characters and witty dialogue keep the pages turning.

3 1/2 stars. Humorous, heartfelt.

Made Me Breathless. This is the first book in the Less Than series. It is about Devin and Erin. Anyone that has been cheated on and betrayed can relate to this story and all of the emotions that came with betrayal. Erin’s fear of further hurt has her wanting to avoid relationships but sometimes Fate decides something else. This is a great first book in the series and I can’t wait for the others.

Love the Carr family ❤️. Erins happy life came crashing down at her high school reunion. After finding her husband in a comprising position (with the former head b**chy cheerleader no less), she leaves and stops at a bar for a drink, running into an old friend, Devin. He takes care of her for the night, showing what an awesome guy he is. Jump to six months later, Erin is divorced, a successful independent business woman, and once again comes across Devin. They become better friends, close, and even though they decide to just have fun, feelings are involved (even if they aren’t said or admitted). Will they be able to stay just friends and have fun, or will they let love in? You have to read to find out. I really enjoyed reading more about the Carr family (Dimitri’s siblings). I look forward to more!!

dnf. this was so beyond boring i could only suffer through about half of it. the main characters will break conversation to go on a 2.5 page inner monologue about something not even related to the situation at hand. i actually started skimming pretty early on but the relationship is developing so slowly that i can’t continue reading.

Breathless with her. Great read

Just goes on and on. I like the book but I couldn’t finish it,it seems most of the time It’s not even a Conversation for pages it just her and Him over thinking things and just going on and on

Even a smart, independent woman has to fight feeling “less Han”. Erin goes from her only boyfriend, lover, husband to a man that takes her breath away. It’s just a rebound, she will not get serious with another man, right. Devin has never had the urge to get serious with any woman, but Erin has him tied in knots and breathless. It’s definitely not ideal that they connect on the night she catches her husband cheating. But she couldn’t have found a more caring even nurturing man to help her that night. Their baggage though really colors the emotions they allow themselves to feel as they become “friends with benefits”. The “benefits” are scorching and they truly have a close friendship, until it changes. Yep, Erin and Devin sucked me right into their lives. The story flows so naturally. Their feelings projected effortlessly for our consumption. But their sadness was never depressing, which I appreciate. As heartbreaking as this tale can be it was also joyful and fun and a delightful read.

Amazing Read. This is the first book in The Less Then Series featuring Devin & Erin. The story is completely relatable specially if you’re someone who’s ever been cheated on and has felt the shock and hurt of that kind of betrayal. Devin is just a great guy to the core of his being, Always there to support his family and friends. Neither have a had great luck with the Ex’s but neither can ignore the electricity that flows between them whenever they’re together. Like always Carrie Ann Ryan brings her characters to life always making it hard to put the book down for even One second !!

Too much rambling and repetition. There is too much rambling and off topic paragraphs that make it extremely difficult to keep track of what is actually happening in the story. Also there’s a lot of repetition and sometimes it’s within the same paragraph. I barely made it to Chapter 4 before calling it quits.

Loved it. What a great start to a new series. Devin and Erin are great together. After finding her husband with the head cheerleader at the class reunion she does what any woman would do in that circumstance, she goes to a bar. She meets Devin there at the bar. Loved their story. Can’t wait for more.

Second chances rule!. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader’s Copy of this book Yay!! The awesome Carrie Ann Ryan has gift us with a brand new series!!!! The Less Than Series is a spin off of the Colorado Springs Montgomery’s, as it is all about the Carr siblings who are now Thea Montgomery’s in laws. First up is the hot mail carrier Devon Carr. Can I just say how this book starts is like watching a scene from a tv show. At her high school reunion Erin Taborn finds her husband, who was her high school sweetheart, in a comprising position with the girl that was the head cheerleader. What she yells at him is hella funny and that is what makes it like a tv show. Devon helps her deal for the night, see she’s known Devon since high school because her older sister dated him. Now Devon likes his life just fine, likes his job, his home, and his family. He didn’t even realize anything is missing until he helps Erin out. When they see each other after her divorce is final there is a crap ton of chemistry, however since she’s just gotten out of a marriage that she didn’t even know was crap until the end she is in no way wanting to enter another. Devon falls for Erin fast but he agrees to be “friends with benefits “ like she wishes. What happens next is a story getting a second chance at love, a second chance at not just A life but a AWESOME life that is even better than the one you had. We also get to see the other Carr siblings so we get a hint at who the next book could be about. The Carrs are a hilarious family who fight and are nosy as heck about each other’s lives, but who also love the heck out of each other, I can’t wait for more!!

Not Much Goin On. I really like the idea of the story and where the author was planning to go but this book really could not keep my attention. There was nothing really to draw you in and make you pay attention. The storyline was hard to follow and there really wasn’t much going on. Overall just boring and didn’t keep my interest.

Breathless with her. I feel like I’ve been waiting lifetimes to finally get to see Dimitri’s brothers and sister and find out what’s going on with them. The best way I can describe the intro to Devin & Erins relationship is that this is a fun twist on not quite a second chance romance since Devin actually dated Erin’s sister for a hot second back in high school. It was great seeing Devin - the mother hen of the group of siblings - get himself all turned inside out over a woman. Carrie Ann has a way of making ex husbands and other characters seem as douchey as possible and I kinda really love it. Every book that brings me back to the Montgomery/ Off shoot of Montgomery world has been a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read, the emotions and real life situations are amazing reads.

Heart warming. I loved this story and how it played out. Erin saw Devin, for the first time in years, at one of the lowest points of her live and he took care of her without taking over or making her feel like he felt sorry for her. When they ran into each other again it was surprising how many people they had in common in their lives and they were all rooting for them. This made story made me cheer, cry and hold my breath just for the HEA that I wanted them both to have. Loved the sprinkle of the Montgomery family. Well DOne

Devin & Erin. Erin goes to her high school reunion with her husband. She finds him in a most precarious position and runs out where she runs into her sisters old boyfriend, Devin. A few months pass and Devin picks up a cake from Erin. He invites her to the party where the cake is being served. She agrees and they start a very friendly friendship. Erin is scarred from relationships and ends up pushing Devin away to protect herself. After much pain for both parties involved, they find their happily ever after.

Enchanting and inspiring romance. This is a wonderful story, an enchanting romance and an inspiring example of strength of character and overcoming adversity. Erin does not let the sins of her ex-husband taint her new life, she keeps battling through after finding him cheating on her - with a cliche (an ex-cheerleader). Erin meets Devin again (as an adult) on one of the worst nights of her life, and yet still that cannot totally overshadow the connection. When they cross paths after her divorce, well then the sparks really start to fly. A great start to a new series, great to see more of the Carr family, and I can’t wait for the next instalment! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Fantastic first book in new series. Book one of the Less Than series Breathless With Her by Carrie Anne Ryan Erin is a wedding cake maker and slowly growing into a more independent women with opening her own business. Erin and Nicholas Erin’s husband go to there high school reunion and while there Erin life falls apart. That when she meets Devin Carr at a bar. Devin is Dimitri Carr brother from previous Montgomery book and Devin is a sexy tattooed postal worker who has everything in life a job he loved a house and a close busy family but no love of his life. I really enjoyed this book especially with main female character having a lot of baggage and Devin having Baggage but dealed with it in a healthy way and at some point helps Erin how to too. This book was made into a audiobook and had different narrators then the one used in previous books, this is first time I’ve heard Samantha Cook and Jacob Morgan narrate but as usual Carrie Ann Ryan really picks awesome with narrators. Looking forward to more in series especially the rest of the Carr family but also Devin bff.

Learning to Love Again. Just love every book that Carrie Ann writes and this one is no different. Devin loved his life until Erin walked in the bar in her red sequinned dress. Erin thought she had married the love of her life until she caught him cheating on her. Devin and Erin have their trust issues. Highly recommend this book and any other book by this fantastic author. I received a free copy of this book for an honest review.

Trusting to Love again. A great start to a whole new spin off series to the Montgomery Ink by Carrie Ann Ryan. It is wonderfully emotional and everything that you would except from this author. Carrie is never one to disappoint when it comes to her books and characters, with each new character that she writes and introduces to us we get a new family with new books to enjoy. There are some sad, happy and fun times with Devin and Erin and their families. The banter between the Carr siblings was so enjoyable to read, it had me giggling. While this is about new characters it was great to see how some of the past characters are doing. This book is about picking up the pieces of your life after it all comes crashing down. At her High School reunion, Erin Taborn finds her husband in the bathroom in a compromising position with the former cheerleader. Erin and her husband (or should I say Ex) have been together forever and it just about destroys her to find him like this. She thought her life and marriage was perfect. After the ‘incident’ Erin throws herself into her work and swears off all men and relationships. But what she never planned on was Devin. Devin Carr, an ex of Erin's sister, helps Erin the night of the reunion, when he sees her drunk and sad. Erin is hard headed and only offers a ‘friends with benefits’ relationship with Devin. Devin wants more but will will take what he can get with her and hopes her feelings change, cause he isn’t willing to loose her. This book had me guessing all the way to the end and I kept thinking that Devin and Erin would not get their HEA, but Carrie proved me wrong. A excellent start to a new set of siblings and I can’t wait to see what is next for the Carr family.

Devin and Erin. I really enjoyed this book. Erin's dream life shatters and lucky for her she runs into Devin and he turns out to be just who she needs. Now their path to happiness is not easy and they both do some pretty dumb things but they eventually figure it out and get their HEA. This story has lots of emotions, it is funny and it is sad, and I love the way the Montgomery's tie into the story. I look forward to reading more about the Carr siblings.

Very enjoyable. This was a really enjoyable read. Lots of fun, romantic tension, and hot sexy scenes. I loved Erin and Devin together.

A breathtaking romance. Breathless With Her is a beautiful story that is all about protecting your heart but at what cost. Devin and Erin are two people that agree to boundaries to ensure Erin won’t run. Erin is tired of being hurt by the men in her life that were supposed to love and cherish her, so now she will erect those walls to protect her heart and soul from totally shattering. A story that will at times leave you breathless, have you wanting to fight for this couple and wanting to make sure that they get their cake and eat it too. Devin will claim your heart and at times Erin will frustrate you beyond belief. An emotional and breathtaking romance that will leave you with a huge smile on your face.
