The perfect love story for those who enjoy fiercely loyal and insanely sexy alpha heroes, smart, sassy heroines, strong family bonds, bikers, babies, and more!

Can true love strike twice in one lifetime?
Josie Beckley refuses to believe there is a limit on happiness. A decade after she escaped her abusive parents and lost touch with her siblings, the death of her husband leaves her and her son homeless. But Josie has never been one to wallow in sadness, and when she takes a chance on reconnecting with her siblings, a sinfully handsome bright light from her past shows up and offers to help her find a way out of the darkness.

Most people wouldn't see Jed Moon as someone to look up to. He's been in and out of jail and has lived a less-than-stellar lifestyle. But years ago one woman saw through his nonsense, and he's never forgotten her. Now she's back in his life, and as a prospect for the Dark Knights motorcycle club, Jed promises to keep an eye on the sassy, sexy single mother who has never stopped lighting his fantasies on fire.

Jed and Josie's combustible connection is stronger than ever. Having Josie and her son in his life brings out all of Jed's protective instincts-and visions of a future he never imagined having. But when a shocking revelation knocks the insatiable lovers to their knees, it forces them to make choices that could change their lives forever.

I’m Mad About Moon!. I love the Whiskey Series! This book is so emotional, I laughed, I cried! Such a great story about second chances in love and life. Melissa Foster is one of my favorite authors. Her stories just hook you on the first page and she never disappoints!

Mad About a moon is so Touching. I fell in love with the story about Jed Moon and Josie Buckley. Melissa Foster has done it again with her multifaceted characters that tugged at my heart strings. She has created a story filled with heartbreak for the characters past challenges and happiness as they find a path for the future. Her books are relatable and rewarding to read. Kudos to Melissa Foster on this heartwarming 5 star read.

Jed & Josie’s HEA. Both Josie and Jed (Moon) had horrible childhoods, Josie more so than Moon. One night at a field party when Josie was 18, had a lasting effect on Moon. Fast foward several years later, after being on her own and wanting to reconnect with her siblings, Josie went to her sister's home on Christmas day. Little did she know, her life would change for the better. Can past hurts and a fierce love help Josie and Moon get the happily ever after they have both dreamt about? This is a heart warming story about love, forgiveness and second chances. You will not be disappointed! I thorough enjoyed Mad About Moon!

Journey to love. I am Mad about Moon...such a melt your heart, bawl your eyes out, stand up love that Moon has for JoJo and her son...what a walk they have to take to get to their HEA but Man, oh Man was it worth it. Love it!!!!

Love this book!. Absolutely loved this book and everything Melissa Foster.

Beautiful Story of Lost Love. WOW!! What can I say about Moon & Josie except WOW!!! Reading this story just made my heart warm all over. It also showed us all what can happen when you give in and ask/take the help that you need. It shows us that there can still be good in a world when you feel like everything is falling apart. Josie and Jed met years before after Josie ran away from home and was living with her soon-to-be husband. She loved her husband but at the time, they werent together and she met Jed, and had one night of just being. But neither of them were ready for a life together, and Josie ended up with Brian. Fast Forward years later, after Josie's husband dies and Jed has worked through most of his demons on his past. They meet again, when Josie needs more help than she's willing to admit. Not only that, but Josie is trying to decide if re-connecting with her siblings is a good thing or not. After a tearful reunion with her siblings, and time with Jed, Josie comes under the protection of the Dark Knights and part of their community. Its not long before they all realize what is happening and Jed & Josie believe that, while Josie loved Brian, she has room in her heart and her life for loving Jed as well.

Moon and Josie. This book has tons of sweetness that I think I got a cavity just from reading these delicious pages. We first met Josie in Sarah and Bones book , a sister that Sarah and their brother Scott had been searching for losing track of her because she didn't want to be found. Or did she? Josie explains what life was like for her after leaving their abusive parents many years ago. Jed Moon and Josie have a history, that started shortly after Josie left those abusive parents, sparks fly just like they did five years ago when Josie appears at .Sarah's door to make amends. Josie also finds out a sweet surprise that she was afraid of for her son Hail. Moon earns his prospect title for the Dark Knights with his suggestion of starting the Young Knights, a mentoring program that Jed starts to help young kids not make the same mistakes he made as a young adult. Josie gets her dream shop of gingerbread, and their is even talk about dipping fries in milkshakes. This story has a sweetness that will leave you grabbing another sugar cookie just to get your fix, with lots of laughs in between.

Another hero. What are the chances that years after you lose your virginity to a guy you meet at a bonfire on a night that you are feeling rejected by your future husband, you run into that guy that you lost your virginity to? Josie escaped a horrible childhood home with the help of Brian, a friend who shelters her from ages 13 through 18. Brian scares Jed, the guy that Josie met and connected with at the bonfire, away before anything more can happen between them. Brian eventually admits his feelings for Josie shortly after and when they discover she is pregnant they get married and have a beautiful baby boy Hail. Brian dies young from a heart defect and Josie and Hail eventually find themselves living in a shelter. There Josie reconnects with her sister and brother that she hasn’t seen since she was 13. In addition, she finds herself being protected by Jed Moon, the guy from the bonfire. Jed and Josie realize that the connection they forged that night was the start of something amazing and as Josie works to let Jed into her and Hail’s life, she also works on building a relationship with her sister and brother. I love this series and Moon is another great guy trying to protect the woman and child he loves.

Moon😍. I don’t have enough words to say about how much I loved this story! The Whiskeys are quickly becoming the family I want to have as my own! Everything about Moon from his patience with Josie and Hail and his love for his sister to his never giving up on his crazy mother just made me fall head over heals for the man!

So much emotion. There is so much emotion in this book! I absolutely loved it. While I loved the second chance love story of Jed and Josie so much, I really loved the way the author conveyed the sense of family throughout the entire story and the fact that family isn't just blood, it's so much more than that.

How can you not fall in love with Josie and Moon?. Jed and Josie were obviously meant to be together. They connected mind, body and soul one night years ago. And now fate steps in and brings them together again. Second chance romance? Not sure, but who cares because this is a really great story to read. It’s a little bit of an instant happy ending book and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Without Bones bringing that pamphlet to Josie at the shelter would the reunion between her sister and brother have ever happen? Yeah, probably because Josie is just that feisty and determined. Hail is just the cutest thing. The kids in these stories are so fun and just make the books even better. Jed’s thoughts about what he wants to set in motion with the Dark Knights seemed to have resonated with me because I cried a few times while reading those parts. I love when a story can draw me in so much that I can get emotional about what’s going on.

Josie and Jed!. Another beautifully written love story by Melissa Foster. Jed and Josie are taken on an emotional and beautiful journey to finding their own HEA!!

Captivating. WOW! If ever a book deserved more than a 5 STAR rating, it is Mad About Moon. What an intriguing, spellbinding and emotional captivating story which I loved ever word of it. He’s and Josie’s story is truly one of my favorites that Melissa has written. After meeting Jed and Josie earlier in the Whiskey series, I’ve been quite impatiently waiting for their story and Melissa definitely did not disappoint as their story surpassed my expectations by leaps and bounds. Thank you Melissa for another incredible story.

Thumbs-Up!!. I am a hugh fan of the Whiskeys and this story went right to the top of my favorites list. It has taken a while for Jed to get his life straightened out and on the right track. Now he has found the woman who stole his heart in the past and he’s ready to step up to show her life can be great again after all. This story tugged on my heartstrings. You could just feel how much Jed wanted to make Josie and Hail feel wanted and loved and show her just what family really is. Everything about this story was hopeful, loving and uplifting

Beautiful Love Story. I loved, loved, loved Mad About Moon. Josie and Jed are so lovely together. They’re story has all the feels and makes my heart all melty and squishy. I’m such a sucker for a 2nd chance love story.

Loved Moon and Josie!. Mad About Moon was the perfect title for this book because that is how you will feel when you are done reading this story. I fell in love with Jed Moon right along with Josie. Jed didn't pressure her for more, despite the fact that they both wanted more. Their history was so bitter sweet and Josie's son Hail was the perfect addition to their story. There was something that I wondered about fairly early on in the book and it turned out to be true, which made me super happy. This story was one I couldn't put down & made me want to go read the other books in the Whiskeys series. I highly recommend this book.

Family isn’t just blood - the Whiskeys exemplify this!. Josie has had a rough life - everything you can imagine seems to have happened to her but the brightest light in her world is her son Hail. She recently was able to determine where her sister is and is contemplating rekindling their relationship. Their relationship became stalled due to their parents, little does Josie know that rekindling her relationship with her sister will include rekindling a relationship she had with Jed a number of year ago. Also, Josie finds out that rekindling her relationship with her sister will bring the force of the whole Dark Knight family as well. The manner in which Jed treats Josie and understands how to go about determining her needs is absolutely perfect. And i can never get enough of a man that loves another child as his own, but you need to read this to learn more about the relationship Jed has with Hail and how it develops - it will bring tears to your eyes. And knowing what the bikers of the Dark Knights will do for the kiddos in their family creates some wonderfully hilarious visuals. Also, Trixie - the daughter of the Dark Knight President is an absolute trip and her antics continue in Mad About Moon and I cannot wait to learn her story in upcoming Whiskey novels. Josie and Jed are such a wonderful addition to the extended Whiskey family and only whet my appetite to learn more about this amazing family, and they truly are all family, even if not by blood.

Intertwined. This book is about a second chance at love for a young widow, Josie, and her young son, Hail. She is a very strong woman, who is trying to stay strong on her own. Josie encounters Jed, a man that is trying to gain membership into a motorcycle club. Both, Josie and Jed, khad abusive childhoods and pasts. Each of them are trying to become independent of their past and looking to improve their future. This is a very emotional book that will remain with the reader for a long time to come. You need to read the previous Whiskey books to truly understand how the amazing family and friends that are intertwined. Once again, an outstanding series and book!

Moon & Jojo. I love second chance romances and this one is about survivors who rise above life’s circumstances and persevere in spite of all they’ve been through until they reach their HEA. Josie (Jojo) Beckley wrongly believed her siblings Scott and Sarah abandoned her to fend for herself. She fled an abusive home life as a young teen and was fortunate to be taken in by Brian. They marry when she turns eighteen, but not before she has one beautiful and passion filled night with Jed Moon, himself a misfit of sorts. Their connection is electric and more than just physical. They connected on a deeper level, but unknown to Josie, Brian warns Jed off. Brian is a truly good man who dies too young leaving Josie a young widow and Hail fatherless. Homeless and staying in the shelter Bones Whiskey, Sarah’s husband, volunteers at, Josie reconnects with her siblings. This is not an easy path for any of them, but one worth pursuing. As Josie learns what Sarah and Scott endured, she realizes how wrong her assumptions have been. Spirited and willing to do what it takes to build a good life for herself and Hail, she is astonished to see Jed Moon, a bright and burning light from her past. Jed is now a prospect for the Dark Knights motorcycle club, having overcome a very tough life, one he’s worked hard to put behind him and make himself into someone to be proud of, someone to be relied on, someone who wants to make a positive difference in the lives of others. Jed volunteers to watch over Josie and Hail and their connection and attraction is undeniable. They effortlessly fall into a relationship, but life is never simple and something comes to light that forces them to take a step back and reassess whether or not they truly belong together. They are a wonderful couple who make falling in love look so easy. Moon is a strong, smart, protective and sexy male who proves himself not only to Jojo and Hail, but to the Dark Knights. Jojo is a strong, positive, sensual young woman who chases her dreams while being a positive influence in her son’s life. It’s impossible not to love this couple. There is one scene with Biggs and Moom after a “church meeting” that had me in tears. There are many other heartfelt scenes that make you feel so many emotions. This is where Melissa Foster excels. Biggs and Red always extend themselves, lending love and support to their extended family in huge healthy doses. You want to crawl into their world and be taken in by them too. There are as always in Melissa Foster’s books, real life issues that we can relate to. The Whiskeys and extended family and friends are there to lend a helping hand, moral support and unconditional love. I love them all. Although it’s not necessary to read the other Whiskey books, I think you’ll enjoy each one more if you read them in order. Mad about Moon is an intense and captivating story of climbing out of the depths of despair that sometimes our lives become and forging a new and happier life despite the many obstacles that stand in our way. It’s gritty and deals with alcoholism, family abuse and homelessness, but is also a story of tremendous growth, family, understanding, forgiveness and community support. It’s a romance in every sense of the word filled with incinerating heat and passion, deep commitment and abiding love. Mad about Moon is a story of second chance love that will have you cheering for them along the way. It will pull you in and take you with them on their journey to everlasting love! Five Stars!

Awesome. Josie is a widow with a five year old little boy. After leaving her abusive parents and losing touch with her brother and sister, she is living in a women’s shelter. A man from her past reappears and she is happier than she’s ever been. Moon is a prospect for the Dark Knights, works in a bar, and a mechanic. Moon had a rough childhood after his father was killed, his mother being an alcoholic and turned to stealing to get food for his sister. Now he’s found the girl he fell in love with after only one night with her. Josie is getting to know her brother and sister and get reacquainted with Moon. Bikers, steamy sex, a strong woman, and a man who loves her and her little boy. There are some parts that’ll bring tears to your eyes. I always thought TRU BLUE would always be my favorite but this one is right up there with it. Ms. Foster takes you out of your world and puts you in hers and it’s great. Hail, Josie’s son, is the cutest thing ever. I love how much Moon loves him. * Voluntarily read and reviewed this for the author *

Jed and Josie. Who would ever have thought that gingerbread could make so much happen! This is a fabulous unconventional story about second chances, soul mates, unexpected love at unexpected times & dreams coming true!

I’m Mad about Moon too..... Jed Moon was an awesome person, but I think he some times doubted that. Jed grow up with loving parents until his Dad died and his mother drowned herself in a bottle, leaving him to provide for him and his little sister Chrissy. Jed did anything he could to feed her including stealing. One day he met a beautiful girl name Josie at a field party. They spent the entire time together. He never felt that way about anyone she was special. Josie however had her own issues to deal with. She was born to abusive parents, she had a brother Scott and sister Sarah who did everything they could to keep her away from her parents. But one day they had to leave. Josie believed they were not coming back for her so she left with another guy Daniel to Maryland at the age 13. He help her to take care of his grandmother. But they gave her a good life. When she met moon it was two days before her 18th birthday. Anyway Jed went to find her the next day only to be told by Daniel to stay away. So he did. Five years later Scott and Sarah are looking for their sister who to Jed surprise was his Jojo. By then Jed had grown up and found a home and family with the Whiskey family. Josie sister Sarah was married to Bones Whiskey. Josie was at a shelter with her son Hail where he volunteered. But Jed helped her to reunite with him and her family. Excellent story not a complete spoiler alert. If your a Melissa Foster fan you know it’s a feel good story.

A must read!!!. I LOVE the Whiskey series, and Moon and Josie’s story just might be my favorite of them. Josie is one of those characters you can relate to. She’s guarded, but it’s completely understandable with her past. She underestimates her value, and it’s kinda refreshing. Moon is perfect for her. A bit “damaged”, he’s turned his life around and is really an inspiration to those around him. He’s the perfect fit to the Dark Knights, and the perfect man for Josie. This story drew me in from the beginning, and I loved catching up with previous characters. A fantastic must read that I would definitely recommend!

Second chance love. Oh my Mad about Moon was an awesome book!!! I love Jed and Josie's story so much! Second chance romance is one of my favorite! Melissa Foster books just get better and better!! The Whiskey's are my favorite family so it's always good to catch up with all them. I highly recommend this book!!

Swoon over moon. We met Jed Moon in Truly, Madly Whiskey and we met Josie in Wicked Whiskey Love. Jed is Crystal’s brother that was on a bad path and stealing food for him and his sister when he was younger. Now, as an adult, he is prospecting to become a Dark Knight. Josie is Sarah and Scotty’s long-lost sister whom they finally found after Sarah and Scott’s accident. Josie is living in a shelter with her little boy when a face from her past comes around. Apparently, her an Moon knew each other and shared a special night 6 years ago…now he is keeping watch of her and her son Hail because that’s what the Dark Knights do. Both coming from abuse as children, they both have emotional baggage. But, the chemistry they have with each other is undeniable! This is a story of overcoming our pasts and appreciating something you never thought you would have or deserved. Another fantastic read from Melissa.

Second chance. Jed and Josie met years ago but the time wasn’t right. I’m glad they try to make a second chance work.

Adored Jed and Josie. Finally! Jed and Josie’s story in Mad About Moon! Whenever Melissa Foster releases a new book, I immediately put down whatever book I am reading at the time, and devour her books. Jed and Josie have a history, one that they thought was a once in a lifetime meeting, but of course, life had other plans and brought these two together at exactly the right time. Josie has made a previous appearance in her sisters book, and was hesitant to come around again, in fear that her relationship with her sister and brother couldn’t be repaired. However, with help and strength from Jed, aka Moon, the two of them work together to get to their true HEA. REALLY enjoyed this book. It was very well written, with an emphasis on friends, family, and forgiveness of ourselves and others. It also had the perfect amount of steam to make you want to fan yourself!

Swoon!. I can’t say this enough, there is something about Melissa Foster’s writing; I will read ANYTHING she wants to write no matter the subject. But this Whiskey family is just the most wonderful caring and support of family next to the Braden’s. I want to Whiskeys to adopt me just so I could feel the love that they have. Jeb and Josie’s story was just something you will fall in love with. Jeb might have a rough outside but this man has the biggest heart for everything dear in his life. The way he instantly adored Josie’s son just melted my heart and his love to make Josie's life better just made me swoon over the Moon! Jeb and Josie had a past and this was their second chance to make something wonderful and give each something that was missing. I can’t wait for Dixie story; PLEASE let Dr. Butterscotch be the man for Dixie. Their flirting and bantering is filled with sexual chemistry.

Mad about Moon!. Mad About Moon the title says it all! Moon and Josie captured my heart right from the get go. Jed aka Moon is a prospect for the Dark Knights who is also family to him. Jed came from a past he is not proud of, after his fathers death his home life went south. Now his past is about to catch up with his present. Can Moon stay on the right track? His heart is always in the right place. Josie is a delightful heroine who is as strong as her siblings. Needing to escape a bad home life Josie made a few decisions that has changed her life, but soon her past has reconnected with her now. Can she be open enough to except it all? Will she let Moon in to her heart? If I had to choose one of the Whiskey’s books that had a lot of growth from the main character’s it would be Jed/Moon and Josie’s book Mad About Moon. Jed and Josie were darling together they have a connection past and present. The one thing they both agree on is that their passion for each other grows to a flame when ever they touch, can that be enough? an they heal each other’s heart? Supporting characters just add to the wonderfulness of each book in the The Whiskey’s Series I am very happy to get to meet a few new behind the scenes characters. Hail took my heart. Mad About Moon’s plot picks up quite nicely from the previous book Wicked Whiskey Love. The plot is amazing full of family dynamics, Love for the home town and its people. There are a few surprises along the way, one major “Wow Moment”but that my friends you will have to read about to see what it is. Melissa Foster I am just Mad About You! Rated 5 Stilettos and a Recommended Read by Deb!

Another amazing installment in The Whiskey’s series!. Another amazing installment in The Whiskey’s series! After reading about Sarah and her family, I couldn’t wait to read about Josie and continue that story further! Josie had such a hard go at life and when she finally thought she was getting past it, tragedy stroke again. Fate brings happiness again when it turns out the man she crushed on previously, Jed, is a prospect with the Dark Knights and hasn’t forgotten about Josie either. The attraction between the two was great and I enjoyed how Jed was able to push through Josie’s flightiness and put her in her place at times and break through her emotional obstacles. The flow of the story was great per usual and I loved that we were also able to see what the rest of the Whiskey family was up to even after their stories. I cannot wait until Dixie’s story though! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Second chance to make one night forever. Second chances at its best! Jed and Josie met one fateful night years ago. That one night left lasting memories with them both. After Josie’s husband passes, she finds herself losing everything but her son. But as she tries to reconcile her past and reconnect with her brother and sister, she also comes face to face with the man who is in her dreams. Jed sees her and knows that this time he will not let her slip away. He’s in a better place now and he can be there for her and her son. And he wants that more than anything. But as his past comes back in play, an interesting twist comes into play. And now there’s some new information that could break the very foundation of their growing relationship. A great addition to the Whiskey series. Jed (Moon) is definitely an amazing man deserving of this group. And Josie has risen above abusive parents and her life being shattered, but still rises to the challenge. Amazing book that I couldn’t put down.

4.5 Stars - Darn Near Perfect!. First off, let me just take a moment to revisit the male hunkiness gracing the front cover. Built, tatted, and beautiful, he is just rugged enough — worn just around the eyes and sporting a stubbled jaw — proof that he’s already done some living, loving and learning. So, to all that he is, and the book boyfriend he most certainly has become, I say, yes please! This is yet another soon-to-be best seller for Ms. Foster! The H and h have been assaulted by life, but refuse to be broken. They found each other once, and had one amazing night. It was so fantastic that it was never matched. Well, that is until they find each other once more and the connection, chemistry and their bodies innate knowing make anything other than a HEA an impossibility. If this isn’t your first rodeo with Ms. Foster, within these pages you’ll find the family, friendships, community and genuine connections you’ve come to expect from this author. If this does happen to be your first foray you’ll be pleased to discover what she can accomplish when using letters to form words, and build emotions so tantalizing you can taste them, you’re in for a treat. Enjoy! I received an ARC of this book, from the author, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Love, Loyalty, and Respect for All. I love the Whiskey’s and this book with Jed and Josie was awesome. Every time I read about the Whiskey’s, I want to be part of the family. I really enjoyed Jed and Josie and learning about their past and I have to say, Jed is definitely worthy of being a hero and fits in well with the other Alpha males in the Whiskey family. I also liked how everyone was so welcoming to Josie and Hail. I also loved Biggs and watching him with Jed and of course Josie and Hail, he is easily becoming one of my favorite characters. At the end of the day, it’s all about love, family, support and acceptance and the Whiskey’s embrace this on a daily basis, who wouldn’t want to be part of that. The ending was a nice surprise, something I definitely wasn’t expecting and it couldn’t have been better and I’m so excited for Jed. This was definitely a great book! Really looking forward to Dixie’s book.

Totally swoon worthy. There is nothing better than a biker with a heart of gold, wait yes there is, one that is AMAZING with kids. Jed Moon is a prospect biker who is the brother of Crystal from book 2 in the series and Josie is Sarah and Scott's sister from book 4 of the series. Jed and Josie had a met one night years before and clicked; Years later Josie shows up on her sisters door step and back into Jed's life. Not wanting to lose her a second time Jed does everything he can to get Josie to trust him and let him into her life. I loved watching Jed and Josie rekindle their love. As always with Melissa's books you fall not only in love with the main characters but you fall more in love with the extended family. Everyone deserves the community and love that comes with the Whiskeys and the Dark Knights. Amazing read!

Heartbreakingly beautiful🌟. Mad about Moon is an absolutely brilliant and heartbreaking second-chance romance. I loved every aspect of this book, from the first page to the last. Josie Beckley is a wonderful heroine. Like Melissa’s other MCs, she is incredibly strong and determined to move on from the past and build a better future for her and for her son. She was fearless, and passionate. This book was fantastic in capturing her experiences with love and really emphasises the fact that you never forget about your first love, even if they’re not in your life anyone. Jed Moon, like all of Melissa’s heroes, is absolutely swoon-worthy. I loved the relationship he built with Josie’s son, and even after all the things he’s been through, he was able to step up and be a great parent to her child. He was extremely thoughtful, and really tried to help young people, who were like him once, get into the right path and make a better life for themselves. To me, they were just truly soulmates. It’s incredible how one night can really change your whole life in a flash. They were so perfectly right for each other, and it’s hard to imagine them being with anyone else. I’m so excited for Dixie and Jace’s book!! 5⭐️ | 2🌶 | 0.5💧

Loved this!. We first met Josie in the previous Whiskey book, Wicked Whiskey Love, and she was introduced as Sarah's estranged younger sister. Jed has popped up in a number of Whiskey books and I am thrilled we finally have his story. Jed and Josie have met before she appears back in her siblings life, and their encounter met a lot to both of them, but it was not their time. Now, meeting years on, is the the time right for them and will they overcome the challenges along to way to give them the happiness they both deserve? I loved this book. Jed has been about in the Whiskey universe for a while and I have been eagerly awaiting his story, and as usual, I am not disappointed. Once I started this book, I could not put it down and devoured it in on sitting, this afternoon :) I hope you enjoy it too.

Mad about Moon? Definitely!. Josie has had a tough life. Falling on hard times, she is now living in a shelter with her son. Now her life is looking up. She has a chance to reconnect with her estranged siblings. What she didn’t expect was this would also include a chance to reconnect with Jed Moon. He’s the one man she slept with years ago, and the one she has never been able to forget. He’s had his own demons to battle, reconnecting with Josie is like a dream come true. He never thought he would get a chance to be with her again. This time he must use all he has to persuade Josie to give him a chance to win her love forever. You can’t help but be mad about Moon, he’s kind, caring and willing to do anything to protect those he loves and cares about. With the help and encouragement of the Whiskey family, this is an emotional story of courage, family and love.

Definitely Mad about Moon. Jed and Josie have been popping up in the previous Whiskey books, and now they have their own story. This is about making the right decisions and making life better. They had spent one night together 6 years previously, and that moment has been with both of them since. With every knock back they have suffered, they have picked themselves up and started over again. Loved it and its always good to pickup on the other Whiskeys and Truman. Well worth a read

Mad about moon. Its no secret that I love Melissa Foster books, but I just absolutely love her Whiskey Series the most! I have been dying for Jed & Josie’s story, and Foster did not disappoint me one bit. This is a standalone but I do recommend you read the previous book as you will get a better feel for Josie’s situation. Jed Moon is a prospect for the Dark Knights MC run by the Whiskey’s – he may not be a Whiskey by blood but he certainly is by his caring attitude. He has a rough past but seeing a girl a few years ago lead him to change his path in life and brought him to where he is right now. When Josie makes an appearance in town, Jed cant believe his eyes – this is girl he shared one night that changed his live forever! Josie has had a terrible childhood with abusive parents and seeing how well turned out her sister Sarah and brother Scott has turned out has left her feeling all kinds of things. She is in town to try an reconnect with her siblings after being apart for so long but seeing Moon was the last thing she expected! Their past is entwined in more ways than one, and Josie has her son Hail to protect. Her husband and his father passed away so she lost everything, but can she gain everything with Moon? Once again Melissa has proved why I love her characters and stories so much – she weaves a tale that you can help but get hooked on and root for the couple to make it, and in this one they make their happy ever after in a spectacular way – now I may be the only one but I called it regarding a significant story line in this book and was pleased that I was right, the subtle signs were there and looking back when you think about it – it all makes total sense!

Howling to the moon. I loved this second chance story. What Jed and Josie had years ago was something they thought they would never experience again but years later they see each other again and it’s like time stopped. Josie is overwhelmed with seeing Moon again, esp as she is also seeing her brother and sister again after years apart. Jed has always tried to protect his family, he loves his sister and regrets he was never there when she needed him. He still cares for their mother, even if she doesn’t want it. This was another great read from Melissa Foster, I love the Whiskeys and the Dark Knights. I can’t wait to read more.

Loved it. I have read and enjoyed all the previous books in this series. Having said that, Mad About Moon can definitely be read as a stand alone although honestly if you have the time I would read them all. I think you will find this a highly addictive series to read, I know I did. This was an emotional story that captivated me from the first to the last chapter. This is Jed Moon and Josie Beckley’s story and as I have come to expect from a Melissa Foster story, this was extremely well written and an absolute joy to read. A second chance could give both Jed and Josie a chance for the happiness that they both deserve. Jed Moon is a total alpha male who ticked many of the boxes for me and Josie is perfect for him. I loved her feisty spirit and her unbridled passion for life, despite all the trauma and hardships the single mum has endured in her life. The passion and love between Jed and Josie is intense and I loved the relationship that Jed develops with Hail, Josie’s son made for some beautiful and heart warming moments. I love this series, the characters are so well developed and Melissa Foster’s writing so descriptive that I feel as though I am apart of the Whiskey family and Peaceful Harbour. It is a story of love, hope and friendship, of family, not always related by blood and one which I highly recommend.

Great Addition to a Great Series. This book was everything I expected and more, I have read all the previous books in The Whiskeys Series and just when I think it can’t get any better Melissa Foster throws a spanner in the works with yet another fantastic read. This may be book 5 in the series but I believe Mad About Moon could be read as a stand-alone although I’m sure after reading you would want to catch up on the previous stories so why not grab them all and read them in order..... Josie and her 5 year old little boy have seeked rescue in a woman’s shelter and is trying to rebuild her life away from her abusive parents what she doesn’t expect is to come across a man from her past a man she loved many moons ago. Jed Moon is a prospect for Dark Knights and he is everything I love in a man, total alpha and always showing the love of his life, family and friends loyalty. I loved the relationship Jed formed with Hail (Josie’s son) and I loved the banter this pair shared throughout the book. This is a story of love, family and friendships and it’s a book I will go back and read over and over. Can’t wait to see where we go next with this great series from this very talented author.

4.5stars-captivating, entertaining. 4.5 stars--MAD ABOUT MOON is the fifth instalment in Melissa Foster’s contemporary, adult THE WHISKEYS erotic, romance series focusing on the Whiskey family and friends of Peaceful Harbor. This is twenty-eight year old, bartender/mechanic Jed Moon, and twenty-four year old, single mother Josie Beckley’s story line. MAD ABOUT MOON can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous instalment is revealed where necessary but I recommend reading the series in order for back story and cohesion involving our story line heroine. The Whiskeys series is a spin off from the author’s Bradens of Peaceful Harbor. There is a slight MC biker theme throughout the series as the Whiskeys are part of the local Dark Knights MC, and Jed Moon is their latest prospect. Josie is Sarah (Wicked Whiskey Love) and Scott Beckley’s younger sister. Told from dual third person perspectives (Josie and Jed) MAD ABOUT MOON follows the rekindling relationship and romance between twenty-eight year old, bartender/mechanic Jed Moon, and twenty-four year old, single mother Josie Beckley. Approximately six years earlier, Jed Moon met seventeen year old Josie Beckley, and it was instant love for our story line hero. A one-night stand ended when Jed discovered our heroine’s age, and in the ensuing years neither one forgot about that night. Fast forward to present day wherein Josie, a now widowed mother of one, struggles to reacquaint herself with the family she believes left her behind. What ensues is the rebuilding friendship and growing love between Josie and Moon, and the potential fall-out as Josie continues to struggle with what was, and what may be. Both Jed and Josie’s pasts, and their histories are dark and heart breaking. At thirteen years of age, Josie found herself alone with an abusive father when her brother and sister ran without looking back. Jed Moon struggled to keep his family together but when his father died, his alcoholic mother destroyed what as left of his heart and his love. The relationship between Josie and Jed is one of second chances; a rekindling friendship that grows into something more. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate, without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text. There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Josie’s son Hail: Dr. Wayne ‘Bones’ Whiskey, and Jed’s sister Sarah, and her children Bradley and Lila (Wicked Whiskey Love #4): Josie and Sarah’s brother Scott Beckley; Special Forces Veteran Bullet Whiskey and Finlay Wilson (Driving Whiskey Wild #3), biker/mechanic Bear Whiskey and his wife (Jed’s sister) Crystal (Truly, Madly, Whiskey 2); Bones’, Bullet & Bear’s sister Dixie as well as their parents Biggs and Wren (Red) Whiskey; Truman & Gemma (Tru Blue #1) ; Truman’s brothers and sister, Quincy, Lincoln and Kennedy; Ice Cream shop owner Penny Wilson; several members of the Dark Knights MC including Desmond ‘Diesel’ Black, Crow Burke, Charlie ‘Court’ Sharpe, Tomas ‘Tex’ Sharpe, as well as Dr. Jon Butterscotch; as well as the introduction of Crystal and Jed’s mother Pamela Moon. The world building continues to focus on the friendships, family and support for the people of Peaceful Harbor. The conflict is limited, oft times limited to situations from the past: there is rarely a struggle with the relationship development. MAD ABOUT MOON is a story of family and love; of friendship and support; of second chances and more. The premise is captivating and entertaining; the characters are colorful and energetic-Melissa’s story line children are delightful and adorable; the romance is seductive and intense. MAD ABOUT MOON is a wonderful read for the romantic in all of us.

Absolutely loved Jed & Josie. Jed & Josie, absolutely love them. Melissa Foster has done it again, she has sucked me in again. Heartbreaking stories for both Jed & Josie will they come together and make it to happily ever after. Can’t wait for the next book.
