Love it. *throws flowers* This book was beautiful and I finished it in two days. The writing was exceptional and I love how the book touched on some realistic issues.

Enjoyable. I must say this book kept me entertained from start to finish. It was deliciously entertaining,even though I could have used a few less cussing, but nevertheless I did like and enjoyed the storyline. I’m happy to see that there was some spotlight on domestic violence. Great read. MMJ

Great surprise 🥰. This book was amazing! I thought this would be a light and fun read but I was happily surprised at all the emotional aspects as well. So much more depth and development than I thought it would be. So much emotion. I completely loved Cherry and Ruben. Cherry was so strong but I loved her vulnerability with Ruben. And my heart just ached for Ruben and all he went through growing up! 😭😭😭 this book was very well written and made me connect with the characters. Great story. So glad I picked it up.

i love talia. i first red get a life chloe brown and i love talia hibbert's writing. i was tempted to give it a 4/5 but i think it's bc i haven't fully overcome the misogynistic biases against romance novels

It was nice. Easy read. I absolutely loved this book The only thing that slightly annoyed me was the end. I felt as though the build up towards the end was intense and thought perhaps the consequences of them leaving would be harsher or it would be harder to persuade the king’s wife to leave him. Nonetheless it was still a great ending. And great book overall

Can’t wait to read more of her work!. I’m looking forward to reading Talia Hibberts other books! I love, love, loved her writing style. She’s definitely working her way to my favs list!! I’m ready to devour the brown sisters series. My only faults would be the mix of eroticism and abuse. It’s was quite weird for me to experience those together. Sexual escapades one moment and harrowing childhood trauma the next? That’s a me issue in all honesty bc there was definitely a trigger warning at the start. I wouldn’t read this again and probably wouldn’t recommend it either bc it was quite triggering for me.
