Nice story. This was the first book of this new series that I've read. I wasn't sure what to expect. But I enjoyed it. I'm not usually fond of the enemies-to-lovers trope, but Cora Seton has it nailed. Neither Lance nor Maya are living the life they thought they'd be leading, but family circumstances have them doing what has to be done. They shouldn't be together because of the family feud, but after dancing together they find that they can't stop thinking about the other. They end up working together on various aspects of the upcoming Chance Creek Revolutionary War battle re-enactment. They find they have more in common than they expected. There are secrets everywhere with their families, and I think we're going to see more revealed in upcoming books. I thoroughly enjoyed the story and felt that the heat/sexy level was just right for it. I look forward to reading more of the series, and plan to read the books before this as well.

Lance Turner loves history and has been helping with the July 4th Revolutionary War re-enactment for years to help him step away from his never ending problems but when the museum receives word they are losing their lease and need to raise funds to find a new place for the museum he adds this problem to all the rest he is carrying...that is until Maya Cooper, who also loves history but wants more for the re-enactment and maybe spice it up. After attending a meeting and being pared up with Lance to make it happen now sparks start flying, sneaking around, hiding the attraction from their feuding families can these two save the museum, make the re-enactment better and maybe find their HEA despite their families?? Only time will tell....

Finding Love and Sharing a Dream. ]Revolutionary War re-enactments, freshly-baked pies, some finely crafted furniture, unfortunate misunderstandings, and grudge-holding siblings all combine to make THE COWBOY’S HIDDEN BRIDE an enjoyable read. When Maya and Lance reach out to each other across their families’ historic feud, it is with trepidation but realizing they have each helped family ranches for years instead of pursuing their own dreams. Romance? Yes, but Cora Seton has also drawn a warm and wonderful community and a secondary cast of characters we will see again as this series continues. This is Book 3 of the series, but you can read THE COWBOY’S HIDDEN BRIDE as a standalone, if you must. This is my first time to read one of the stories in this series and has convinced to me now read the earlier books and to wait for upcoming additions. I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Loved it. Family feud that started generations ago effect the new generation’s way of living, community and who they love. But we are talking LOVE. I love Cora’s style of writing. Keep them coming.

Amaaaaazing!. I’m obsessed with this series. Obsessed. This book did not disappoint! Lance and Maya were so sweet and sexy and connected so well. Plus the tease at the end made me sooooo sad I have to wait until summer for the next book!

Lance and Maya are both overlooked by both families but always doing what’s expected of them. They both love the historical museum and come alive doing historical re-enactments, if they can just keep their siblings in line. There is so much mystery in the history of these two families and Cora serves it up in such a way that keeps us hooked and waiting with bated breath for the next installment.

Family feud. The Cowboy’s Hidden bride follows Lance Cooper and Maya Turner. The two are from neighbouring ranches which are struggling and so both Lance and Maya have had to put the idea of college on the back burner whilst they help out their families.The two neighbouring families have also had a longstanding feud which has been passed down through the generations. So when Lance and Maya start to develop feelings for each other you know there’s only going to be problems.

My favourite Cora Seton book. I’ve loved Cora seton’s books since I first came across the cowboys of chance creek series. Her ability to craft unique characters and make me love them too makes each book extremely enjoyable. Also, every new character added comes back again in other books and they all fit together so well to create a real community in my mind. This book in particular is full of such characters and their antics made me laugh out loud on several occasions. I re-read them all when I need a break and a relaxing read but this is one of the first I come back to again and again.

Loyalty in abundance. This story about the building relationship between Lance Cooper and Maya Turner is looking set to be doomed by the feud between their two families that goes back generations. They are torn between their loyalties to their families and their growing feelings for each other. This is all set amidst the background of saving the local historical museum which they both have an interest in. They eventually come to realise that their first loyalty should be to themselves and each other. I liked the fact that Lance’s character, though handsome , was not always portrayed as the perfect man. It made him seem more of a real character. I enjoyed their story and all of the family secrets that were gradually revealed. I did find the end if the re-enactment scene a little hard to believe.

The Cowboy's Hidden Bride. Lance and Maya's families are at war but that doesn't stop them wanting to be together. Despite all that life throws at them Lance and Maya fight to be together. I found this to be a truly lovely, inspiring and delightful story with such likeable characters. There was plenty of content with interesting scenes which made this a perfect book to read. I really enjoyed it and highly recommend this to you.

Another winner. Wow! Once again Cora has come up with a winner. Some familiar characters blend with some new ones as the love story between Lance and Maya unfolds. Well worth sitting back, relaxing and losing yourself in the Chance Creek township.
