I don’t read and I love this book. I saw his book for free and they caught my eye and I finished it in one day and I think I’m going blind but this is a very good book for muti I have to read action. And there are 6 BOOKS

Loved it!. I was so excited when I found out that this amazing duo will write another mystery crime series! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this book and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Detective Jake is ready for his retirement, but the killer on his last case has different plans for him. This book will definitely capture your attention right from the start. It’s intriguing, suspenful and full of mystery. I’m already addicted and can’t wait for the next book! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Grab it now—another winning series. If you've read the Zodiac series, you'll know that this duo writes an amazing mystery/suspense/thriller story. I wasn't sure this was going to be as good and suspenseful as that, but it's even better. This has corruption, crooked cops, vigilantes and more questions than answers. Detective Jake Thomas has seen more than anyone should have and is ready to retire. He just has one last job and a new trainee who is bright and eager to start. Jo Calloway is excited to be a detective but Jake is moody and intimidating and now that they have a new case, they are in a race to find a killer who is killing crooked politicians. I'm loving this story that is tense and suspenseful. With this first book we're given a lot of clues and I'm anxiously awaiting the next book. I expect the next book will be just as puzzling. A great new series by a proven duo that will keep you guessing until the very end. Highly recommended. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

Silent Crime Hangman #1. A suspenseful storyline with fantastic characters that kept me on the edge of my seat. This does end with a cliffhanger but will definitely make you want to read the next book. Jake is a detective who has turned in his notice after being on the force for many years. Jo is the new detective to replace Jake. She is detail oriented, takes her work home and determined to solve the hangman serial killings. W. L. Knightly is an exceptional writer who grabs your attention from beginning to end. The details written for the storyline and characters makes you feel like you are there with them experiencing everything they are. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Good Read. Get ready for the newest creation by the duo that makes up WL Knightly. In this new story, we are introduced to two detectives at the opposite end of the spectrum. Jake has been a cop a long time, and he’s seen too much. Jo is just getting started in her career, and is eager to jump in with both feet. When their boss throws them together on a case, as partners and with Jo meant to replace Jake, neither could have expected what was thrown at them. There’s a killer on the loose, one that has turned a childhood letter game into a gruesome game that has even hardened cops shuddering. If you were a fan of the Zodiac series, you’ll enjoy this. If you haven’t read those, you should, and you should read this one! The writing is this one is faster paced, but I suspect that’s because there are going to be less books in the series. This first book sets the scene, and creates a world that has you ready to find out more. Who is the killer? Why? And how does he know so much private information? You’ll be ready to find out more! In full disclosure, I read this in exchange for an honest review.

Page turner!. Just finished the first book started the second immediately after with the box set. Very good series.

Not a complete. book. Very disappointing, book has no ending you are referred to book 2. Will never try this author again.

Silent Crime. Great characters, gruesome serial killer, well thought out plot. So why the low rating? The book leaves you hanging (no pun intended), and not in a good way...more like buying the next book gets you the end of book 1. I thought that went out of style a while back. Won’t be buying any more of W L Knightly’s books.

Silent crime. This is a continued book...so u don’t solve the whodunit at the end, which is just crap. There are spots where it seems a word or words are missing. The story has good qualities but procedures are slack so they seem to be bouncing from murder to murder.

Beware….. only part of story!. Good story but ends on a cliffhanger! If you want to know what happens you have to buy the next book. I feel cheated…… if a story is good AND complete, I always buy at least one more book from the author!

Great book but no ending!!. I’ve read numerous books which are part of a series but each book has an ending and you read the next if you enjoy the characters! Not this one, it ends ‘to be continued’!!! Not fun when you stay up late to finish it to know who the killer is! So angry I’m not even going to read the rest of the series.

Another great book. A new series with a great start. I absolutely loved the previous series by this author and couldn’t wait to start this one. Jake is the main cop and he’s about to leave so is training his replacement, Jo. There are a string of murders and they are both on the case. Things really start hotting up and I can’t wait to read more

Nothing is free. The book is great don’t get me wrong but you can’t finish it with out forking out so if your willing to spend on books than this is great but I didn’t so I am left in the dark with the ending

Silent crime. Came as a set of three free books. Which are very absorbing and a good plot but only part of the story. It then cost me £11.97 for a further three books to finish the story. Thoroughly enjoyed the story but I would never pay £11.97 for any book - will not get caught again for sure.

Rewrite. The author’s should rewrite this story. To many inconsistencies. To many mistakes.

The Hang man box set. Reasonable read. Disappointed that you have to purchase three more books to complete the series. Unfortunately my budget won’t allow me to buy these.

I love a book that keeps me guessing. I love a book that keeps me guessing. This one does that in spades. There are so many possibilities here. All of them are good and all of them are equally horrifying. Like Darek Blake before him, Jake Thomas is caught in the middle of a mess with no easy way through. I learned my lesson with the Zodiac series: no one is going to be what they appear. We have a city full of corruption and a taunting vigilante, and I have no idea how this is going to play out – or even who I should trust – but I’m desperate to know what comes next. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book from the author.
