Waste of eye time.. Still dredging up historic scandals, stumping for Devin Nunes, who is the most unpopular politician in his home state hanging on to the most unpopular politician in the world. No reason to read this.

Incredible. The lengths at which the bad actors in the US intelligence and law enforcement communities went to to keep Trump from becoming president and destroy him after he became president is not a good sign of things to come. Thank you to Nunes and his team for exposing it.

The other side of the story.. This was an interesting read. It is the other side of the story. This is not what any of those in the media are telling us is the other side of the story. It is an inside look at Washington that is believable. It will be interesting to see people try to discredit this account of the history of the last few years. It will also be interesting to see who those people are.

Thank God for Nunes, Lee and others bent on TRUTH. The truth hurts and sets those who know of it free. One split second of knowing the truth is worth millions of years knowing nothing. The Democrats now—especially in the upper echelons of Intelligence, education, entertainment and tech—might as well come clean that their agenda is not Socialism but out and out Communism on a global scale. Terrify account of treasonous bureaucrats. I do not buy conservative books, as I find them long on buzzwords and dog whistles but short on details. This book lays out in uncompromising detail the specific steps and the specific people who plotted to take out the President of the United States. It is particularly damning of media collaborators - you’ll easily spot which reporters are lackeys for the various government agencies - who advanced the coup and then covered it up. We can only hope that the DOJ under Barr does what the DOJ has proven time and again that it is incapable of doing: obeying the law and punishing its own people when they break it. We shall see. But, if you want a clear account of how Nunes and his team of investigators destroyed the entire “Russia collusion” hoax, and left Bob Mueller with a big bag of nothing, this is about as good as it gets.

Republican lies. Utterly ridiculous garbage.

The deep state lies. Every citizen should be worried about this, on the eve of an election and still the American people believe that Trump is a Russian agent. Can people be so lazy as to not do any homework on their own, but just believe whatever the main stream media tells them? I fear that God will turn his back on America and its corruption, why not if the people don’t care!

Exceptional. This is a well written insider view of the uncanny and decidedly novel campaign to destroy a presidency from within entrenched government.

Unbelievable. If not for Devin Nunez we would never know just how treasonous the Deep State is. Must read if you prefer free elections over authoritarianism.

Complex but well worth your time. It was great to read a more in depth account of this investigation after having followed bits and pieces for the past 3 years. The collusion story was a complex web of lies and I hope the perpetrators can be held accountable.

Sad for Our Nation. Take your partisan hat off and read the facts laid out by Smith. It’s an incredibly well sourced book with devastating implications.

Democrat false flag!!. The DEMONCRATS WROTE THIS TO TRICK US conservatives. Just google some of the things mentioned in this book. Many things are just blatantly untrue and misleading. Nunes himself claims to be a farmer yet only has 7 head of cattle (for tax purposes). Nunes is a fraud and this book is taking advantage of those who do not do basic research.

What Defeated the Democrats. No offense to Devin Nunes. But, it was not Devin Nunes who defeated the Democrats' attempt to take down Donald Trump. It was the TRUTH that defeated the Democrats.

Long opinion piece. The writing is hyperbolic. Reads more like a pulp politicial conspriacy story than a documentary history. Lot’s of opinion and scarce on substantive resources.

The Plot Against The President. Lee Smith knocks it out of the park with this chilling account of some really bad actors trying to intimidate Congressman Nunes and his family, in an effort to obstruct the Congressional investigation he was leading. Harassment, thru the use of baseless House Ethics complaints, adds to the proof of a coordinated attack on Nunes’ important work. Lee Smith cannot be thanked enough for helping expose this “paper coup,” showing us the depth of the depravity all Americans have suffered as a result.

This is not the America we know or want. This is an eye opening account of the corrupt democrats and the Dorian Grey corrupt liberal establishment. They sold their souls to overthrow the elected President of the United States.

Intense from the starting gate!. I just finished chapter 1 at breakneck speed. I can’t put it down. This is crucial reading to any American who values their right to vote, and their freedoms in America. May this never happen again.

Exceptional yet infuriating. While most of what was in this film actually wasn’t news to me (thank you Glenn Beck), it doesn’t make it any less infuriating/frightening that these things are happening on our soil; to an elected President!

Farmer Devin. Same old stories Nunes has been trying to sell for years. Another political hack who fights to hang on to his job in congress because he lacks any real skills. Where else can you get a job that you work less than half of the year, get all the benefits you deny the tax payers that are paying your salary and you can vote on your own pay raise. Where do you get all that, in The Deep State. What a joke this guy is.

Fake news. This book should not be allowed on the apple book store. Fake news is dangerous, and by selling this book Apple is responsible for the millions of lives lost due to Trump presidency. Shame on you.

No credibility. Anything that relies on Devin Nunes for sourcing warrants immediate dismissal.

Come to your own conclusions. It sounds like a Hollywood movie: a laid back California Congressman and an Indian-American public defender from Long Island take on the establishment. But I can see why this is the #1 best seller in the country: jaw-dropping plot twists, with the fate of the United States at stake. You’ll find yourself muttering “oh my god” every few minutes as you realize the things that happened during your lifetime. This is one of the greatest stories ever told, and so easily we could have never known. These guys are heroes.
