What an epic start to this portion of this series!!. What an epic start to this portion of this series!! We finally get information and stories from the other side with the start of Stateless, and I was so excited to get my hands on this! Giving us some background and a prequel of sorts in the beginning really helped to understand these characters and their mission. Kina and Callum have been raised by Stateless since they were four and are given two different tracks within the organization. While Callum is sent for the top, Kina is kept back and it seems that Kina is actually the best of them all and is being stunted by someone unknown. Also thrown into the mix is Kina’s twin sister Glen, and the push and pull between her feelings and instincts about both Callum and Glen show the mortality that Kina exhibits that is a blessing and a curse for her. As Callum has grown within the organization, he finds out more and becomes weary of what he has been told his entire life. Towards the end of the book, we catch up to understanding who Callum actually is in relation to the previous books, in addition to his plan to somehow stop Stateless while also saving Kina. I was insanely enthralled with this book (in addition to the rest in this overall series) and I can’t wait to see where the author takes these characters as well as the Stateless organization! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Pretty dumb. Skimmed most of it but wasn’t very good

Long awaited perfect book. I've read the other trilogies.... cannot believe I have to wait a month to start the 2nd stateless book. They should have all been released!

Good series beginning. Another fantastic book by Meli Raine. The start to a great series of intrigue, deception, and possibly love? In Stateless where your own twin can GE an enemy who can you trust? Romantic feelings are off the table. Government anarchy is high on the list. And who do you trust, anyone? Who is the enemy? Nothing like a good cliffhanger to keep you waiting for the second book. ARC was provided in return for an honest feedback.

She’s done it again!. Absolutely love this book! Raine manages to captivate with this intriguing story that’s already pulled in other familiar storylines!!! As someone who has read and love every single one of her books, I can’t wait for Traceless and the rest of this series!

Stateless. This is a fast read with lots of twist and turns, never going where you expect! Always on the edge of my seat with her books. Can't wait to start the se one book in the series!

Twisty Turny and Wonderful. This was a masterful tale of a conspiracy so huge that one can’t even fathom how far reaching it is: Stateless. Callum and Kina are perceived to be at opposite ends of the Stateless spectrum: he is one of the top protégés being culled to be a future leader while she is “The Mule,” seen as weak and a target upon which others can prey. But while Kina feels and is seen as weak, Callum sees it as an actual a strength—one he hides from all but Kina. Their connection may be what saves them, or their downfall. Meli Raine has surpassed herself yet again. The Harmless and False series have been leading up to this and I wait with baited breath for the rest of this series.

Lovely book. I’ll be honest, at first I didn’t like this book because I didn’t understand it. But it did not take long for me to be pulled in. I am truly intrigued by this world and love the mentions of characters from previous books. Everything is painted out for me to be able to visualize. I can’t wait to read the sequels!

Real page turner. Awesome read! I finished in less than two days. Great plot, characters, and writing.

I’m not sure. I’m not sure how I feel about this book. It has the potential to be a movie, which is a good thing, but so many characters to start makes it very confusing, and there are times throughout the whole story that are also just as confusing even after you start to understand who’s who. Conversations were hard to follow sometimes when it came to understanding who was speaking. The story itself was decent though but the lack of truth throughout made the story hard to follow sometimes. I haven’t decided if I want to move on to the next book or not. If I don’t, it’ll be to avoid the confusion as to who is doing what and why. There are much easier books out there. If I do read the second book, it’ll be in hopes of getting a better understanding as to what it is that is even going on. Regardless the book is worth the read or attempted read. I read it in 48 hours so that in itself proves that it has some worth.

Excellent read. The first in this new series and let me just say “WOW”! This is another link in the chain of the previously published series’ and the wagons are circling. What happens when corrupt, greedy, rich, powerful people decide to grab children and train them to be single minded, soulless, killing machines, placing them in or close to positions of power. This is the first book and does end on a bit of a cliffhanger. Don’t miss this one!

Stateless. And the incredible story continues!!!! I dream about each new book, I love these stories and truly hope they become more. Tv show!?!? Movie... anything!!! Love love love the direction the story is taking! Can’t wait till 11/19!

Can’t wait for more!. I just love Meli Raine’s books. This one did not disappoint. This is a stand alone, but I think you will get more from it if you start with Harmless Little game and read all of the spin-offs in order. If you don’t you will definitely want to after you read this one. As always, I was hooked from start to finish. I loved finding out how they became stateless. I really like these characters and I can’t wait to read the next one. What a cliffhanger!

In a futuristic world where children kill. Born without a trace, trained to be a weapon, and cultivated to be a killer children are brought to live in this compound. The mission is to restructure and destroy the world outside the walls where chaos thrives. Weakness is drawn out and used for training where only the strong survive. Overall: The first chapter began with information overload. From the premise I surmise this to be a suspenseful thriller. This was not an easy transition for me. I felt the story began as a spin-off and I’m clueless. Stateless follows three main characters: Callum, Glen, and Kina. Having began with Stateless I found it quite complex. That first chapter led me to believe I missed out on an entire story that I should’ve read prior to this one. I’m confused already and I’ve only just begun. I compare this training compound to that of Hunger Games and Divergent. Stateless is a futuristic world where the compound is made up of children trained to destroy the government. The story progressed slowly reiterating the same details about these characters ability to detach emotionally. The point was drilled home the first time it was mentioned I didn’t need further examples or a redefinition of the mission. When the characters were reassigned moving forward nine years I started to enjoy the story. The story changed and I felt that shift. Eventhough those nine years were unknown it’s what happened upon the return that altered my entire outlook on the story moving it in the direction I needed.

Ong. I didn’t read this book I inhaled it. I mean I couldn’t put it down. The story way so fast and engaging the characters kept evolving I loved it. Like all her books I have to read read and then start the series again because i get so attached to the characters. I’m a huge fan of series that intertwine characters from other books. Stories that unravel and grow with different perspectives. Huge ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️book

Stateless, suspense. This book is like the other series. It keeps you wanting more. The Stateless program doesn’t record the births. It Luke they don’t exist to the world. The are trained to do blend in society while secretly taken it down. Callum is the brightest in the class. They are taught to not have feelings. Kina and Glen are identical twins. Glen is better at everything than Kina. They all think Kina is weak. They pick on her. They have games where if one is killed the games are done. Several people try to go after Kina and Callum protects her. His feelings for her are forbidden. Glen and Callum both get to go out into society. Glen tells the higher up Kina is not strong enough to be in society. Callum can’t say goodbye to Kina. You start to learn about Stateless and what they are up to. I can’t wait to read they next book. Definitely a page turner.

Oh Wow! So glad the whole series is available!. Ok, gotta be honest... I have never read a book quite like this one. While the beginning of the book, I felt like there was a back story I was missing, it wasn’t enough that I ever felt a desire to set the book aside. On the contrary, I was severely sucked in and had a very hard time putting it down to work, or do household chores. This may have felt a bit overwhelming at the start, but this definitely held me captive. I am so glad this series is complete, or I would have been very irritated with how Stateless left Kina and Callum. I am off to eagerly dive into book 2, Traceless.

Good start. Meli Raine has been on my TBR forever but life has always gotten in the way of me starting any of her series. But, since this is a new one, I decided to dive in. I did feel a little lost about what Stateless is and I wonder if that's because I haven't read any of the interconnected series to this one. Once I finally felt like I understood what was happening, I was totally into this story and couldn't put it down. There's so much suspense that I was on the edge of my seat, biting my nails, waiting to see what was going to happen. This book ends on a cliffhanger, which isn't usually my jam, but this only made me more excited for book two!!

Stateless. I must admit it did take me a little while to thoroughly get into this but when I did wow wham bang what a story! Such a chilling scenario! My heart raced several times as the tension rose and the suspense was out the roof! So many unexpected twists had me riveted in my seat as I eagerly drank in every word. What an exceptional excellent book. This is the first of a trilogy and I am excited to get the second and third to see how this extremely well written and absorbing story ends. I really enjoyed reading this and highly recommend it to you.

We get to see these characters grow into the people they will be, in an emotional roller-coaster of a story. This is the start of another masterpiece of twisted, suspense-filled trilogy.
