April Fools. Never a dull moment with this book. I loved the characters and the mystery unraveling, It had it all, mystery, laughs , serious activities and home town feel.

April Fools. I thoroughly enjoyed this mystery. The characters were richly developed and had a complex set of traits that made the ending satisfying, but by no means easy to predict. I loved that especially women across a wide age range were allowed to be quirky and strong, as well as being integral to the plot and the resolution.

Useless mess. So awful and disconnected, I couldn’t finish it. It made no sense. It just didn’t hold together. Not even believable. The author tried to do too much and it didn’t come together. I got 40% thru, and decided I didn’t care!!! JUST TOO STUPID, HORRIBLE PLOTS; there were too many, UNDEVELOPED CHARACTERS. STUPID'!!! I think I could give it a zero star, just not available.

A funny wild read!. I loved April Fools for its over-the-top characters, their weird experiences, and the story’s nonstop action. I also was sure that Mira would be successful ultimately, but I had no idea how she and Mrs Berns would pull it off. Kept me reading to the satisfying end.

Great read. With a pertinent and prevalent criminal issue plaguing the world today with sex trafficking especially with young females and migrant women and children this easy and entertaining read brings today’s headlines into closer view. While the topic of sex trafficking is not entertaining, the characters and their depiction bring to light the very real nature of this crime in an entertaining and endearing way as to resonate with the reader and gives a deeper understanding of how even in seemingly idyllic small tourist towns crimes of this nature are often not as far off as we would believe with relatable and well written characters.

April fools. Was a wonderful story. Loved the plot, characters, writing, etc. my only problem was the allergies in the snow & cold weather. I have serious allergies & they (with Mira’s symptoms) don’t occur until the trees, grasses & weeds pollinate. Not happening in a snow storm. Finally got why Mira had to have the itchy eyes so she could use the drops,but didn’t track for most of the story. Loved the book.
