Finally! Romantic, whole representation for chronically ill relationships. Living with chronic pain is different for everyone, but isolation is a common symptom. This book showed me many of the things I didn’t know I needed to know. FYI PUBLISHERS: I AND MANY OTHERS Would read a million more books with chronically ill leads 💛

Refreshing. It was so refreshing to read a romance about someone who is real. I loved following Chloe along on her journey. I especially appreciated how her body, disability, and skin color were addressed. The author made her a person, one many readers can resonate with. This book shows that no matter the “limitations” society deems you have, you can still be unstoppable.

I can find myself rereading this over and over again. Please, please, please make this into a movie!!!!(Crossing all crossable body parts!!)

I See Me ♥️. I absolutely love this book! Chloe and Red’s journey to love and acceptance made me laugh, cry, swelled my heart, and most importantly gave me hope for a love like this for myself. As a black woman who has múltiple autoimmune diagnosis, Chloe’s day to day, her fears, and internal dialogue rang so true. It felt amazing to see a heroine that represented who I am ♥️

Unbelievable Romance. I could go on and on about this book. The romance is so real and raw. The way it shows how love isn’t easy and you have to work on it. The love story shows how you have to build with your partner and love your partner. The love of Chloe and Red has to be hands down on of my favorite because it’s not just about love. It’s about how they were willing to love each other no matter the issues and personal things they faced. Chloe didn’t just get a life she got a love that comes one in a lifetime.

Talia triumphs. I’m amazed every time but she did it again. I am completely, madly in love with more of her characters. Red is wonderful and I just love Chloe like a sister. I am in awe of Talia’s talent and the care she has for her readers. I started highlighting all over the place because MY GOD —the way she uses language it’s just amazing. Every word and every feeling is intentional. Beautifully done, Talia. I can’t wait for more from the Brown sisters.

I looooved this book. This book was so witty, cheeky, but had the right amounts of romance and.. Spice 😉. Didn’t disappoint and I would recommend

Third person pov. It was a good book. The only thing that kept catching me off guard was the third person point-of-view. It’s different and no seen a lot in this genres so it was refreshing just a little hard to keep up with.

took some time. It took some time for me to actually get into this book and even when I did it still was just okay to me. This book was overly hyped in my own opinion but that’s MY opinion . I won’t be reading the other series since it was so difficult for me to get through this one.

Aid give it 10 starts. I can admit that I cried in the beginning when Chloe was telling Res how the doctors didn’t believe her about her pain, as a woman, and a black woman at that I felt so SEEN by this author. Yeah the sex was good, yeah Red is hot but...there’s so much MORE in this story that I love. I’m actually still crying now because it’s like....wow i’m not the only woman who’s been treated this way by a medical professional, a character in a book has experienced somthing so demeaning and frustrating. I appalled this author all around.

Beautifully Written. This book has a way of taking your insecurities and allowing you to bond with a character that walks life just as you do. To read about characters who can go to therapy because they know they need it, or talk to each other about their issues is an important thing to read. Thank you!

This book is darling. Ugh I’d loved this book. I read this after reading Act Your Age Eve Brown. The author has such a luxurious way of writing its smooth and seamless. I loved both Chloe and Red. ❤️

Cute, but…. Very cute story with lots of funny moments, but this isn’t a fav. If I could rate half stars it’s a solid 3.5. Although very descriptive, it seems unnecessarily wordy at times and that sort of bored me. The book started off a little slow, and progressively got better, but again, not a fav.

In awe.. I love this book dearly. It took me 4 days to finish. I can’t believe I cried!! And smiled and completely adored these two characters. What a cute little love story. Thank you, Talia.

Resonates profoundly for those of us spoonies. THANK YOU TALIA! You made me laugh, cry and filled my heart with so much hope for my own future and reassured me that I am worthy of love and compassion and so much more than a diagnosis and it’s all consuming symptoms and limitations that go in tandem with chronic pain and disease. You’ve given so many people a million reasons to see past their pain and isolation and to find the courage to go confidently on living their best lives. What an authentic account of the the inner dialogue that plays on a loop inside a chronically ill persons mind. This doubt and worry of being pitied, burdening or turning someone off her completely, she was was determined to make it on her own for the first time in life. She got her own apartment and while her sisters were there several times a week checking in on her, bringing home cooked meals from their parents housekeeper, she was surprised at the courage she had. Soon she begins to become curious about her superintendent who always seemed to fluster her and she wanted to get away from him immediately. But she starts looking out her window and watching him painting through his window in his apartment across the courtyard. Chloe is not an easy woman to connect with. She bristles at everything he says, sound abrupt and curt when she does speak to him and he doesn’t react favorably towards her in return. She is exasperated and her extent to avoid him becomes comical. They find themselves in a situation that they’ve no choice but to communicate and soon they begin to slowly act on their feelings. Chloe spends a great portion of the day trying to figure out if his last conversation or message had any subliminal messages in them. She was so caught up in a frenzy of anxiety and exhilaration as she’s never experienced an adult relationship. Her grandma and of course Chloe herself to settle herself down and recognize she was worthy and receptive to love and allowing herself to trust she is worthy of everything those in fine health are. She has finally found the bravery and self love to move out, be independent and isn’t wasting another second hiding behind her illness. Chloe Brown IS LOVED. And she IS lovely. She couldn’t have done it without her sisters supportive encouragement and advice. BUT mostly, she dug deep within herself and found what she needed to get what she deserves. She’s blessed and grateful! Part 2 of this trilogy- Danica Brown is next!! End of June❤️❤️ A MUST

AMAZING. I love love love this book 🥰 I saw it in my local bookstore and it was the first time I saw a big women in the cover and I was intrigued and the title caught my eye as well. And when I tell you that as soon as I read it took me two days to finish it because I couldn’t stop 😭 it’s so good and I read every now and then because their relationship is so beautiful and the dynamics of the characters and how they help each other grow is astonishing 🥰 15/10 !!!! Amazing highly recommended

Loved it!. I loved this book so much. I read it after I read about the youngest sister Eve in “Act Your Age, Eve Brown” and Talia is consistent in her ability to write well detailed, relatable, steamy, and overall fun love stories. Red and Chloe in this book were equal parts complex, funny, and understandable. I can’t say enough good things and I can’t wait to read more from her!
