3.75 stars, rounded up to 4. I was a little wary of reading this, because I've read only the first book of the series and it was quite awhile ago. But, you don't have to be familiar with the series as a whole to know what's going on, as there's enough information interspersed throughout this book from the previous ones to have a basic understanding of what came before. All of that being said, I did enjoy this book and it's characters. I liked Eve and Anders, and I liked that their attraction came naturally. Yes, they do have to marry quickly, but they also have common ground which draws them together. The question of the story is can they both get past their secrets and deceptions to get to that HEA. It was an interesting turn to the ending for everything to come to a head, but it was nice in the way that it did. I plan to go back and read the rest of the series at some point to get the full story of Base Camp after reading this.

Anders is next to marry. The Base Camp has become a reality show. With the manor with Regency Dress woman and former military starting a new green living community. You don’t think Green living when you think Oil Companies. Anders a former Navy Seal, has signed on to marry within the next 40 days, but who?..... Eve wants to tell the world the Oil Company is spilling oil into a villages drinking water. This is great story and I can’t wait until, the next story.

Will secrets destroy a relationship?. A Seal's Devotion is another successful addition to Base Camp and then men trying to create a sustainable living community. Anders is the most recent SEAL to draw the short straw and it is his turn to find a crew to continue the mission of Base Camp and ensure it is not sold to a developer. Eve has a strained relationship with her parents, they do not respect the work she has done for an NGO and advised they have signed her up for college requiring her to move home, where she does not want to be. Eve has recently brought to the attention of her boss some issues with Hansen Oil. In her quest to bring more attention to how Hansen Oil is negatively affecting the environment Eve starts a plot to get herself onto Base Camp. Little does Eve know that her plan to get on Base Camp and bring attention to the company is fraught with more roadblocks then expected, namely, learning more about who Anders actually is. A Seal's Devotion is rich with drama but understanding and a woman learning who to be who she actually wants to be. And you can never forget that her best friend Melissa is there with her for every step of the way, even along the way with possibly finding love in her own right. This update on all the Base Camp couples is perfect and I can't wait to read about whether the remaining Base Camp men are able to find their love of whether the mission of Base Camp will not be fulfilled.

It feels like coming home and checking in on close friends. It’s now Anders Olson’s turn to get married and things don’t look promising. Enter Eve and now things get interesting, however they both have a lot of secrets. Leave it to Cora to twist and turn a plot that keeps you turning pages until the book is over when you want it to go on forever!! Bicabee
