A must read!. Wow, just wow! Taming My Whiskey was both combustible and heartbreaking. Dixie Whiskey is truly a strong woman. She has 3 older alpha brothers that have protected her all her life so much that she has friends set her up with guys from out of town just for a date. She is also smart, funny, wild and kind and can take a man down with a comment or a quip. She has to be as she runs two family businesses and works in the biker bar. Has she met her match? Jace Stone floats in and out of Her life. He is a biker, motorcycle designer and business owner. He comes to town to ask Dixie to be the face of his companies new line of motorcycles and clothing. The interactions of Jace and Dixie provide humor but their story is also heartbreaking. Melissa Foster’s writing is exceptional and this book kept me on edge. I truly could not put it down. It is a stand alone but you will fall in love with characters and want to read more.

I LOVE the Whiskeys!!. This is Dixie and Jace’s story and it was sooo good!! Dixie is a strong, independent women trying to break away from her brother’s and trying to live her own life on her terms. Jace is a sexy alpha male that likes to control everything in his world until Dixie. I loved the way Dixie got underneath Jace’s skin. The interactions between them steamy, sweet, explosive and lots of fun. I couldn’t put it down.

I LOVE Dixie. I LOVE Dixie Whiskey. She is the type of woman that young girls should strive to be. She is strong, intelligent and puts up with no cr@p from anyone. Jace is all business all the time, but there is another side to him that he does not show to most people. He is also giving and wants to see the younger generation succeed. He was given a chance and he wants to pay it forward. This is such a rare occurrence these days, it was refreshing to see. Dix and Jace are like oil and water. They've been skirting their attraction for years, but times have changed. Will Jace break her heart or will his priorities change? Can Dixie prevent her brothers from killing him before they figure this out?

Great read. This installment was a great read, I love the whiskeys and the family lives. It is ripen to read about them

You go Dixie. Sizzle...Sizzle...Sizzle. Really that’s the best word to sum up this book. I’m so happy after many books of reading about Dixie and seeing her hold her own, she finally got her happily ever after. As much as I fell in love with Jace, Dixie is the real star of his book. She doesn’t put up with any b.s. I also love all the updates on the Whiskey family, plus some Cape time. I really hope Maddox will get a book as well.

Attempting to date and find true love has been difficult and all but impossible with her brothers watching over her. Dixie finds herself on a wild, emotional ride and a sexy adventure. Jace Stone, the dark, brooding, handsome biker, finds himself asking Dixie for a big favor. He soon finds himself falling for her, while trying to remain professional. It is an emotional, sexy adventure for both of them plus learning the importance of family ties. It is a beautifully written book and very hard to put down. I received a copy of the book and in return to give an honest review. This is a fantastic new series with the Whiskey Family and can’t wait to read the next one!

Jace Stone, successful businessman, has always had eyes for Dixie. When they were younger, Dixie was too young to act on any feelings and Jace wasn’t looking for a relationship. After working so hard to build a successful business, Jace realized something was missing. Not sure what it was until he crossed paths with Dixie again. After winning a date with Dixie at a charity auction, Jace can’t help but see Dixie in a different light. But will he be able to overcome his past and give Dixie a chance at forever... Communication is KEY in any relationship! Jace and Dixie drove me crazy, in a good way, with their inability to communicate. Dixie was a strong woman, but had a soft girlie side she was afraid to let anyone see. I loved how she blindsided her brothers and dad. Hilarious! Dixie was kind, caring, but sexy and head strong. Jace was extremely supportive of Dixie and her dreams. I loved Jace’s “behind the scenes” charity work. I liked that he did things for others out of the kindness of his heart, not for praise. They were different, but perfect. While this is not the first novel in the series, you can read them in any order and not feel lost. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Worth every second. Ms. Foster impresses me again! Dixie was definitely a tough nut to crack, but Jace had their chemistry on his side. I needed some tissues a couple times, but Jace made it all better by admitting defeat and giving in to what he didn’t even know he wanted. Worth every second!

SIMPLY AWESOME!!. This book was THE BEST of the series so far. I loved the characters and the story was everything you could ask for. I laughed out loud, and cried ugly tears. I stayed up late and lost sleep, unable to put it down. This is a MUST READ for anyone looking for a fantastic love story.

What can I say about Dixie and Jace...could an author ever write the most wonderful love story like Melissa Foster does...hawt, explosive chemistry, love clear to your soul...confused, torn, what am I feeling...gahhhhhh...these two kept the pages turning with tears and laughter and a love like no other. 😍😍😍😍😍

Good Whiskey. Dixie Whiskey was still single and her over protective brothers were no help. Her brothers were all engaged or married and she wanted that too. She had a crush on her brother friend Jace since she was 18 years old. Now she is all grown up. Jace wanted her to be the face of his company. They spent a weekend together and boy was she in trouble. Of course when reality happens a lot faster than men. Lol..... anyway no spoilers good story.

Dixie!. WooHoo! its Dixie Whiskey turn in the hot seat now and I for one love it. The biggest ball buster with the most hugest hearts gets her chance at HEA. Dixie Whiskey is the one and only “Whiskey girl “ sibling and a true fire cracker. Getting to know Dixie through her siblings books was a hoot, but now it’s her turn to make a love connection the only problem Dixie has is that the man who holds her interest is one hundred percent not interested. I just love Dixie, her strength, compassion, love and her family values makes her a rock star heroine, but her heart is what makes her my Heroine for 2019. Jace Stone “Bad to the Bone” is what I call him as he charmed his way into my heart. Jace is a self made Millionaire, but he is so not the type to strut it out there. I enjoyed getting to know the man, son, brother, friend and yes the lover. Strong self worth, strong family ties and a strong commitment to give back. Jace has it all, but the woman of his fantasies. After losing his heart years before Jace has always been careful about where he stands with the ladies, but when said woman steps back in his life will he play the fool and let her go or will he hold on for dear life. From the moment I felt their intensiveness toward each other in books previous I often wondered if Jace and Dixie were a possibility. Their chemistry is off the charts, but their life styles are different. Can one business deal give them a chance to see if there is anything to the feelings they both good at hiding? It’s going to be a fun time finding out. I am going to try not to gush over the supporting characters, but dang do I love each and every one of them. LOL! They all gave Dixie and Jace the strength to grow without smothering them. Dixie’s babies just melt my heart. Taming My Whiskeyis one of my Top Reads for 2019! As always Melissa Foster delivers a sexy read that captures the heart as well as turns up bone melting heat that make her readers sigh. I for one can’t wait to see what is store with the new series The Wicked’s, Jace’s family. Rated 5 Stilettos and a Recommended Read by Deb!

Taming my Whiskey. Ok, just wow! I have been reading romance for decades, even as a very young teenager, and I have read some decent, good...not so good I quickly stop reading. Every now and again, I have found a great one, but rarely comes one so excellent I am compelled to write a review. So there you have it folks, my review. Online reading or downloads are now a thing, but this often comes with auto correct, which excuse me, editors should discover. Sometimes there is even the loss of having a great book in your hands. Authors miss out on the signing of their books, and sometimes even the revenue of months of work. I received this book for free through bookbub. I would have paid for this book. When I discover an author who can write like this, I usually will buy several of their books. If you are hesitant to buy this book, I assure you, please do yourself a favor and go for it. If you want the unreal nobody cusses, nobody has sex kind of books, then you are in the wrong genre, so how dare you leave a bad review.

Match made in Biker Heaven. First Off, I have been (im)patiently waiting for Dixie's story and it sooooo did NOT disappoint! She's feisty and I couldnt think of anyone else more perfect for her than Jace! They are both beyond stubborn when it comes to what they want and what they are willing to work toward. Jace wants Dixie for his model, and Dixie is bound and determined NOT to let her family push her around. But when being around each other so much and realizing every side of each other makes keeping away from each other hard. Once they both give into their desires, there is no going back, no matter how much they each want to! But, it takes some work on both their parts to figure out how to navigate this new world of being in a relationship. THANK YOU MELISSA for a GREAT Dixie Story!!

Exchange of Power. I’ve been waiting on this one forever and it did not disappoint. The theme throughout is that love isn’t easy and any love worth having is a love worth fighting for. When you find the right person, your life feels complete for the first time. Dixie and Jace have history and it’s going to take some work to navigate through that for two very stubborn individuals. A quote I found online fits perfectly: When a man truly love a woman she becomes his weakness. When a woman truly loves a man he becomes her strength. This is called the Exchange of Power.

Dixie & Jace, independent and strong!. Honesty, integrity, and intensity! Hot, alpha, stubborn! All great adjectives to describe the story and characters in the story. I’m not personally familiar with the biker world, but would welcome this family into the small town where I live. They may ride bikes and have a slightly different code than my family, but family honor and respect are the same. The community involvement and businesses they own in the community help provide for a better quality of life for the whole community. Jace and Dixie know what they want and are finally (10 years in the waiting) going after what they want. Keeping what they want is questionable, they may not be on the same page. Communication or rather a lack of clear communication seems to cause unnecessary heartache. Reading their story was a little like riding a rollercoaster forward, backward, and sometimes in slow motion. All the while, anticipating and thrilling to watch. My first read of the series, and I can’t wait to read the other stories of this series.

The Best Whiskey for Last!. I have been waiting for this book since I first meet Dixie Whiskey. This hardcore sassy woman has been needing to find the right man to keep up/hold his own with Dixie plus be able to stand his ground with her overprotective brothers. Jace Stone is just the man for the job but will Jace give up his bachelor always moving lifestyle to be everything that Dixie wants and needs? I love the Whiskeys and I thought Bullet’s book was the best till I fell head over heels in love with Jace and Dixie. I’m even more excited that we got o meet the next group of siblings the Wickeds and got updates on some past characters (Rush and Jayla). As always Melissa's writing and characters were addicting, funny and of course, I love when all of the family are together.

Scorching HOT!!. Omg!!!! This book is scorching hot!!! Jace and Dixie are perfect for each other!!! Melissa Foster did not let us down with this book. They need a 100+ stars for this book!! I couldn't stop reading!!

Dixie and Jace. Red Hot Dixie Whiskey and Jace are two to tango in this can't stop turning pages read. Dixie is out to prove her over protective brothers that even though they have her six, she's a grown woman who can make her own choices. Jace Stone sets her world a blaze with his winning bid in Dixie's auction for charity , so she will be the face of Silver-Stone Motorcycles. Being told no isn't in Dixie's vocabulary and she stands up to her brothers to prove a point. This Kitten can't be tamed, and she let's the world know just how fierce she is. Dixie has become my favorite Whiskey to date, a must read.

Love is not always easy. I have fallen in love with Dixie Whiskey and have been eagerly waiting for her story. Trust me when I say this story is everything you love about the Whiskey’s and so much more! I thoroughly enjoyed being part of the journey with Dixie and Jace. You knew it wouldn’t be easy with two head strong people, but you knew the journey would be worth it. I liked that we found out some past history with these two and that their ‘fate’ was sealed years ago. I was right there with Dixie through the anger and tears and confusion and when the road righted itself again. I was also excited with our friends that we got to see along the way with some fun updates as well. One of my favorite parts was that we started in Peaceful Harbor, went to New York and saw the Cape as well. Loved every single thing about this book and the ending and epilogue, I would give that 10 stars if I could. I always like to pick a favorite quote from the books I read and this book had so many amazing ones but one of my favorites is, “Do you want to tell me why you look like you got all dressed up for a hot date, ended up being passed around a pool hall, hitched a ride to Vegas, got ditched at the altar, and woke up at the bottom of a barrel of tequila?” I have to say this is definitely my favorite Whiskey book and one of my favorite reads for 2019.

Dixie’s story. Dixie’s brothers are protective of her but she can definitely take care of herself with everything and especially with Jace. Great addition to the Whiskey series.

Dixie!. I have been waiting for Dixie's story for what feels like forever. It was well worth the wait because the story was fan-freaking-tastic! Jace and Dixie made a fantastic pair and I loved their chemistry. I really cannot say enough good things about this book and this series. This is a must read.

I need to give more than 5 stars for this book. I need to give Taming My Whiskey way more that 5 stars. It is one of my top 5 favorite books by this author. I’ve been waiting to see who was the perfect man for Dixie Whiskey and Jace Stone is that man in every way. Oh my gosh!!! Every single time Jace tells Dixie, “I hear you, Dixie. I always hear you.” My heart melts. It’s a little embarrassing how much I sometimes think these are really people I’m talking about and not just characters on a page. You have to read this book it’s amazing and I’m in love with the entire story.

It is a stand alone book, but to get the full impact I strongly urge you to read the series. Five stars is not enough!

Absolutely Perfect!!. I loved Dixie Whiskey ever since she was first introduced and have been anxiously awaiting her HEA ever since. She is such a strong female character and quite a spitfire, yet still so vulnerable in ways I never would have thought. Let me just say that Dixie and Jace's story was truly everything I hoped for and so much more! I do not think Melissa Foster could have found a more perfect match for Dixie than Jace Stone. It was definitely going to take a special man to go after this woman who has a family that is a force to be reckoned with. But then again, so is Jace. This is a wonderful story with the perfect blend of sweet, sassy, emotional, sensual and funny. I loved every single thing about it!!! And bonus that we get more of her brothers and their families. The Whiskeys have definitely catapulted themselves into my top five favorite book families.

Melissa Has Done it Again. Jace has had his eye on Dixie for YEARS but has never been able to act on his true feelings until now. Dixie doesn’t want someone that will hold her down or try to change her. And when Jace bids on Dixie during her own charity auction, all bets are off. But Jace can only promise Dixie a temporary good time. Can he get out of his own way and give Dixie the forever love she deserves? Absolutely loved this book! Melissa Foster has a way of taking these fictional characters and turning them into people you want in your life for good. Highly recommend this book!

I loved this story!. I couldn’t wait to read Dixie and Jace’s story and Melissa Foster delivers another great book! If you like hot, sexy characters with great chemistry, a story that draws you in from the first page to the last and leaves you wanting more this is the book for you! I listened to the audible copy and it was great. The two narrators did a fabulous job! Highly recommend this book!

Such a Fun and Sexy Story. Dixie Whiskey has always been a favorite character of mine and her story did NOT disappoint. Taming My Whiskey is full of sexy tension, fun banter and tucked away sweet moments. Jace and Dixie are stubborn, funny and so in love it will give you a cavity.

Finally the highly anticipated story for Dixie!. Finally the highly anticipated story for Dixie! After falling in love with the rest of the Whiskey boys, I was so excited we were finally getting Dixie’s story! As the princess to the MC and a very strong independent woman, Dixie knows her worth and knows what she wants out of life, but she doesn’t see anyone that is able to step up to the plate and take on her family to be with her. There enters Jace, a man from Dixie’s past who while he had initial feelings for her, didn’t want to lead her on especially at a young age. But now they are both older, and Jace is starting to realize that he wants the family unit and love that everyone else has, and when fate brings Dixie back into his life he decides to take his chance. I really loved that Melissa was able to provide us the character of Dixie, because she is such a strong and powerful woman and it’s interesting to see that although she wants what everyone else has, she refuses to settle for anything less. I also really loved the dynamic between Jace and Dixie, and how they really pushed each other in multiple aspects of each other’s lives. I was so happy with how this series ended with these characters and can’t wait to see if Melissa will continue in the Whiskey’s MC world! Dixie finally gets her man. This was so worth the wait that I needs reading again so I haven't missed a thing. Jace and Dixie are both very strong characters as we know from previous books they have appeared in. Dixie has had feelings for Jace since she was 18, he has tried not to have feelings for her. These feelings explode when she agrees to do his calendar in New York. This is a great story of love and knowing what is important to make a relationship work. Love catching up with previous characters and what is happening in their lives. Thank you Melissa

Whiskey fever strikes again!. Even though they captured each other’s hearts years ago Jace Stone and Dixie Whiskey have never acted on their attraction. He’s not one to settle down and has tried to keep her in his untouchable zone all this time. Now he needs her help with his business. They’re about to find out that having only a professional relationship is impossible. To Jace, Dixie is sexy and addicting, whilst she is getting a chance to follow her heart, but will it be enough to convince Jace that this is one addiction that is worth keeping? I love getting drawn back into the lives of the Whiskey family. Not only is this a captivating, emotional, funny and sexy read, this is one fight for love that tugs at your heart.

Could not put this down!. I have enjoyed all the Whiskey books to date, and this is by far the hottest! Dixie has featured in all the Whiskey books, and popped up in a couple of others, so I have been eagerly waiting for her happy ever after. I was not disappointed! Dixie and Jace have been trying to ignore their feelings for each other for years, but slowly the frustration has been building, and it all comes to a head in a show of emotions in front of everyone at the bar when Dixie attempts to get from under the ever present watchful eyes of her brothers. This is definitely a book you cannot put down once you start, so clear a few hours, grab a cup of tea and settle yourself down for one heck of a love story!

Beautiful and emotional👏. Taming my Whiskey thoroughly broke my heart. An emotional and gripping second chance/unrequited romance that will make you swoon at the same time. Dixie Whiskey is a badass heroine and she deserves every type of love in the world. I’ve loved her since the very first book. She’s feisty, determined and strong-willed. This book was perfect in capturing her ‘moment’ and perfectly embraced her ‘time to shine’. She is a beautiful MC and is a truly admirable character throughout the series. Jace Stone is quite a complex character. He is in no means perfect and he’s made many mistakes, but his growth throughout the series was so pleasant to read about. He loves Dixie so much, but he just didn’t know how to deal with the unfamiliar emotions. He is a fantastic hero, and he made ma swoon so much, my cheeks were hurting from smiling too much. As well as their individual growths, I loved how their relationship progressed. They finally took the big leap, they finally got their happy ending and what an ending it was👏 So excited to read Quincy and Roni’s book!! 5⭐️ | 2🌶 | 1💧

Taming my whiskey. Since we first met the Whiskey family and watched the brothers – Bear Bullet and Bones find their happy ever after I have dying for Dixie to get her love story. And what a story Melissa has given her. Dixie is a fierce, confident woman who can stand up for herself, but she also has a softer side, and at times vulnerable side and I loved how we got to see that side of her in this story. I wasn’t sure who Melissa had in store for Dixie, I knew it had to be someone man enough to take her on as well as prove to her brothers he was the real deal. Enter Jace Stone, rugged, tough and definitely man enough for Dixie. Also he has been someone that she has lusted after since she was 18 but him being older by almost 10 years nothing came of it, until now. We learn that Jace himself has admired her from afar, but the age gap was a barrier for him that long ago (plus the Whiskey Brothers would have went mental) Jace designs motorbikes, and has a new line coming out along with a clothing line for woman and after being let down by a model he turns his sights on Dixie, who if he had realised had modelled in the past would have made her his first choice. Dixie puts him off for a long as she can but eventually decided to do it, following her brother ganging up on her at the charity auction. From here we really Jace and Dixie come together in more ways than one, their story is hot and their chemistry is on fire. But Jace is not perfect and his back an forth approach to his feeling gave me whiplash and left Dixie feeling broken-hearted, and my heart broke right along with her, but he fixes the wrongs and shows that no one is perfect but they can be perfect together. I am so happy Dixie got her story and how awesome it turned out, and I am excited to read the rest of the upcoming Dark Knight stories that will still have our favourite Whiskey family in them.

Whiskey Fever. WOW….. I don’t know where to start on this review. This book has me from being all hit and bothered to then crying!!! I loved this story from the get go and so glad that Dixie found a man who could handle all of her and her family. Dixie Whiskey…. 3 very over protective brother makes it very hard for a girl to break free and have some fun. Any potential boyfriends get scared away from the growling they receive. Dixie has had enough and has decided to break free from her big brothers and show them she can look after herself, she just never expected the very sexy elusive Jace Stone to be involved in this process. Jace Stone is about to launch a new collection of bikes and clothing but his launch is not going to go how he wants when the model hired has injured herself and won’t be able to make it. Jace knows there is only one suitable replacement , the women who was his muse all along….. Dixie Whiskey. But can he persuade her to do this and if she does can he keep his hands off her. This story is fantastic and I just couldn’t put it down. As much as Jace tried to resist Dixie, he knows that years of trying to stay away from her has come to an end and for Dixie this is just the beginning of a fantasy she’s been dreaming of since she was 18. Changes are coming but it’s not going to be a smooth ride. I fell in love with Dixie when I started reading this series and Jace I met when I read is sister Jayla’s story. I can’t wait to read more about the Stone family.

Jace has liked Dixie for just as long as Dixie has liked him but can his feelings for her outweigh his work commitments and fear of being hurt again. OMG! Melissa Foster has done it again and completely renewed my love for The Whiskeys. Dixie and Jace’s novel is steamy and lets you see into the life of Dixie Whiskey and who she really is. It was also great to catch up with the rest of the Whiskey clan. I laughed and even cried both sad and happy tears while reading this novel. Taming My Whiskey is the fifth book in The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor series by Melissa Foster. Taming My Whiskey is the sixth novel in The Whiskeys: Dark Knights at Peaceful Harbor series which can be read as a standalone or read in series order and is written in third person point of view. I gave Taming My Whiskey 5 maple stars and recommend this and all the Whiskey novels.

Love Dixie & Jace - more than a 5 star read. I’ve been waiting for Dixie’s story since I read Tru Blue; love all the Whiskey’s but Dixie is just a super strong female. Jace & Dixie - loved them!!! Stubborn, bullheaded Dixie has had a crush on Jace Stone for a decade. Stubborn, workaholic Jace has had Dixie on his mind for just as long. Their path to love is filled with overbearing brothers, crazy schedules, heartache and horrible communication. They both fall hard and fast but poor communication leads to heartache and tears for Dixie; can Jace fix that before her brothers step in. Will Jace finally put down roots with Dixie. Amazing book, can’t wait for more Whiskey’s.

Dixie is hoping to raise money for the local women’s shelter, and a bachelor auction is the perfect venue but billionaire businessman Jace Stone has refused all of Dixie’s requests to participate. When Dixie offers herself up for auction, Jace outbids everyone else in return for a favour from our story line heroine. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Jace and Dixie, and the fall-out when Dixie loses her heart to a man who makes no promises for the future. There is a large and colorful cast of secondary and supporting characters including all of Dixie’s brothers, their significant others, and their growing families: Dr. Wayne ‘Bones’ Whiskey and his wife Sarah, and her children Bradley and Lila (Wicked Whiskey Love #4); Special Forces Veteran Bullet Whiskey and Finlay Wilson (Driving Whiskey Wild #3), biker/mechanic Bear Whiskey and his wife Crystal (Truly, Madly, Whiskey 2); as well as their parents Biggs and Wren (Red) Whiskey; Truman & Gemma (Tru Blue #1) ; Truman’s brothers and sister, Quincy, Lincoln and Kennedy; and several members of the Dark Knights MC including Dr. Jon Butterscotch, Jed and Josie (Mad About Moon #5), and Desmond Diesel Black: Dixie’s friends Penny, Tracey, and Izzy Ryder as well as Jace’s business partner Maddox Silver, and Jace’s siblings Jared, Jayla (Rush), Mia aka Jocelyn, and Jennifer. Melissa Foster’s world building is phenomenal. Revealing a little bit of information about each of her previous characters to keep the reader informed about the who, how and why, and how each characters adds color and continuity to the growing story line.. TAMING MY WHISKEY is an emotional story of family, friendship and unrequited love. I may have shed a tear or three every time Dixie’s heart broke a little bit more. The premise is spicy and inspiring: the characters are sassy, sexy and stubborn; the romance is sensitive, realistic and passionate. TAMING MY WHISKEY is a beautiful and uplifting story of love and courage; understanding and inspiration.
