Macintyre Brothers Series Collection. Kept me turning the pages, and it never put me to sleep.

Okay. I, for one, get a little frustrated with sloppy writing. (By that I mean grammar or forgetful tid-bits)There were times when it seemed the writer lost her train of thought and picked back up, repeating the same thing again and again. Sometimes the characters would contradict themselves and I would’ve liked to read more details as to why instead of the back and forth. The male characters didn’t seem like men, as in they mostly sounded the way they do from a woman’s perspective. And the women were mostly frustrating. Still, I gave a four because the stories are solid. No matter how frustrated I got or when things got a little choppy, I still couldn’t put the book down. Overall the stories are really good and if you like story with your steam you will like this. I will say the way the characters talk make me feel like it was written by someone too young or too old to relate to the characters so I had a hard time doing so as well. There were parts that I became emotionally invested and other parts where I felt like I was watching from the outside. However, these books are still a good read even though the description is slightly misleading. Hope this helps.
