PLLEEZZZ READ. I love this book! Mrs. Sutherland if you are reading this I would love it if you could write another one (dragonslayer 2) The part where Ivy saved Leaf I was like "I ship them!" Then I tricked my friend into giving me a spoiler and she was like "Leaf and Ivy kiss!" So yeah one thing I love about your books is how you do the romance. But what is Undauntable's problem I mean a girl trades you some dragon scales and then all of a sudden you ask her to marry you like what the heck! I love your work and I hope that you never stop writing, you put smiles on so many faces. But hey umm could you please please please make Sunnyflight happen. Just finished. This book is way better then I though. Most of the time if somebody specializes in writing about a certain species (usually Tui writes about dragons. Duh) and writes about another species from their point of view (scavengers) i tend to not be as invested. This book was not the case. All of the more important events from the original series were squeezed into this book and I’m sure we all greatly appreciated that. My two favorite parts where when Sky saw that turtle... “SO CUTE,” Sky warbled near tears. He lay beside the turtle and rested his head on his front claws. “I looooooooooooooove it. Wren! Look at its little head. Look at its little feet! It is the sweetest, best little animal in the whole history of the universe.” “Don’t let your snails hear you say that,” Wren teased. “They might get jealous.” And when Wren called Deathbringer “Murderbucket” Lol, nice name.

Question:. WHY CAN HUMANS AND DRAGONS UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER scavengers should be like *high pitched squeak* to dragon ears and dragons should be like *low rumbly voice* to scavengers Eh. Cartoon physics Mamba the rainwing

I got this book as an early birthday gift. I LOVE that it’s in the humans perspective 👍! I can’t stop reading it either, it’s been a while since I read a Wings of Fire book because I stopped at book 10 bc I couldn’t find book 11 😭😭 but at least this book is during 1-5 so I know who the characters are 👌 well hopefully im going to find book 11 so I can continue the series!!

I hope you enjoyed the last fanfic (cause it took me like, a day to make it lol) please enjoy the next 2 chapters (in case you don’t know the first parts were in darkstalker legends) Chapter 2: no name I come to in a dark quiet place, I can hear myself breathing and feel the tiny painful pricks of the needles. I glance around the tiny pocket of blackness….I can tell it’s a cage….but for a much larger dragon, it’s got a squishy floor and a bowl full of sludgey stuff, I slide over to the bowl and take a nibble, BLEH. It tastes like that stupid sweet sedative barfed and that barf matted with some pee and their offspring was in that STUPID SLUGE. I march to the center of the squishy cage and plop my butt down, thinking. Hard. But there’s not much to think about. I glance down at my claws...and notice...they’re gray. And I don’t know what “wing” I am. Wait. I don’t even HAVE wings! Is that bad?? I try to summon any traditional powers…..FIRE! nope. Um. ICEY BREATH OF DOOM! Again nope. MAGICAL DEATH SPIT? Nadda. Wait how do I know these? And I can list the tribes they belong to as well? What. Is. HAPPENING!? Chapter 3: Dahlia From the moment I hatched, my life was a disaster zone gone nuts. in fact, it was beyond nuts! Seriously. Just...hear me out. Crack, crack, crack! I hear muffled arguments drifting through a soft petal or whatever I’m in It’s warm and dark in here. Crack crack crack! I don’t want to come out! CRAAAAACK The universe begs to differ. Awesome. CRRRRRRAAACK. The comfy warmth slides away as I tumble out onto cold rough stone. An icy wind whips past my tiny ears and ruffles the scales along my back I shiver, and try to huddle close to a tall gray statue. For a moment I feel peaceful again….and then the statue comes to life and hurles me across the room. Ouch. The gray dragon snarled, “touch me again and I will do more then bruise you little worm!” What an idiot, thought rosemary as she gazed upon her daughter in contempt. She ruffled her mousy gray scales, and thought wistfully of her old beautiful dark green and pale lavender ones, she shoved the thought away. I’m an outcast now. A noname. But dearest darlingst sister, worry not! I will return soon. And when I do, I will use this….charming little dragon, to strike you right where it hurts most. You will all pay for abandoning me on this island. And no one can stop me from getting my revenge. (If you want some backstory on flowerwings then look in the first graphic novel: the dragonet prophecy and if you want some on nonames then look in the 2nd graphic novel: the lost heir)

I liked it. I liked it! It was pretty good, but it felt a little too long for me. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy long books, but it just felt a little... stretched. The storyline was good, though, and from the ending, I hope they make a sequel! Edit: I have an OC! Evergreen IceWing-RainWing hybrid (yes, I know that could also be considered a IceWing-LeafWing name) Female Coloring: mostly a pale blue, with dark cyan markings on her head, wings, and tail. The underside of her wings also have some gold and orange in them. Her eyes are a clear, bright blue, and she has a scar on her cheek. Age: four (in dragon years) Abilities: She can communicate with dead, unconscious, or insane dragons and receive advice from them Friends with Dusk, an older OC

I think this book is great.. I love this book! I read the second chapter for the second time and figure out that they find Clay, Tsunami, Glory, Starflight, and Sunny! I think this book is one of the most best wings of fire books that their is.

OMG I LOVE THIS BOOOOK. First of all, I’ll be clear with y’all. Sky IS Peril’s twin brother, the one that was supposedly “killed” in the first book by Kestrel snapping his neck. Good to know that didn’t actually happen. 🥹🥹🥹. Because if it did, that would be SO sad. Second of all, it’s fricken hilarious with the fact that the general (I forgot his name) was poisoned. In Sunny’s book I remember a Sandwing coming up to Smolder saying “General so and so is dead!! We’re all going to die!!!” Third, in case you didn’t know, Murderbasket is actually Deathbringer, and also, if you remember in Sunny’s book, he said something to Sunny about her being brave with facing scavengers, then Glory teased him about it. I believe he said something like, “You try dealing with a sword waving scavenger. See how you like it!” Something like that 🤷🏽‍♀️. But overall, this book was literally the best one yet! Besides Darkstalker. I LOVE IT!!!!

Murderbasket?. At first I was like ‘Oh Murderbasket is Morrowseer!’ And then I was like ‘No Murderbasket is Deathbringer!’ And it is Deathbringer!(I’m pretty sure) Wren ❤️ Sky? (This concept a little weird, but think about it.) AND ALSO The “scavenger” Clay rescues in the Sky palace turns out to be Leaf! SO COOL.

A real review. Another 5/5 book. It is amazing and is funny and action packed. I love parts 2 and 3. This was a masterpiece and a well needed book to add to the wings of fire story!

Part 27. Riot looked down at Strikes body. Fury, anger and sadness flowed through him. “Who did this?” He asked sadly. “A Shadowing.” Carnage said solemnly. He was also close to her and she was close to many other Reaperwings including the Alpha. Carnage lifted his head and he noticed the Alpha walking towards them. “Hello Carnage.” She said. He dipped his head respectfully. “I-is this Strike?” She asked fear in her eyes. “Y-yes. Killed by a Shadowing.” Carnage looked down at his talons. Alpha opened her mouth and shrieked a long loud shriek. She quickly flew to the large hill above the trees in the middle of the island. She started clicking loudly. Thousands upon thousands and hundreds of Reaperwings crowded around her. Carnage and the rest of the generals were perched beside her. “My loyal Reaperwings!” Alpha called in their own language. “Today I have decided that today will be the day of reproduction! Let’s go into the ground and we will stay there for three days. We will create more of our kind then there is enough to fit on this planet!” She opened her wings. “We all know that Deathflame is helping us so we shall spare him. But most importantly we will go after the Shadowings specifically! Why? Because they KILLED STRIKE!!! We will sweep the planet and leave NO SURVIVORS!!!” All the Reaperwings lifted their heads and howled with delight. Shrieking and howling and hissing loudly. Riot raised his head with a howl. “Let’s go!” Alpha commanded. All the Reaperwings like a horde of locusts ran into the tunnels underground. ‘I will avenge you Strike.’ He thought. —————————————————————— A small Reaperwing dragonet was laying on a table her tentacles and jaw chained shut. Her legs were chained and her tail were chained. She couldn’t move but she could watch. She was barely the size of a cat. The dragonets red eyes darted around. Her purplish-black scales gleaming. The sun was beating into her eyes as it started to rise. Reaperwings can’t stand light. She closed her eyes fiercely. Everything hurt. She screeched loudly as the poked another needle into her neck. She struggled hard but couldn’t move. “I got more samples.” The dragon said. “Isn’t there a nicer way to get samples?” Asked another one. “Yes. But these soulless monsters don’t deserve it! They killed my brother.” He jabbed one claw into her side. She hissed. “We have to study them to save our tribe and since the big ones are hard to keep without attracting attention from everyone else in the village.” The black one said. The green dragon gave a concerned look at the dragonet. “You do know they take only one day to grow right? By nightfall she’ll be as big as an average one.” The black one lashes his tail. “Then we kill her by noon and find another one.” He said. The green one hesitated then nodded. The black one looked her in the eye. “Yeah. Fear me you little devil.” The dragonet was indeed terrified. She had to escape. She slipped her long tongue out and crushed the chain around her mouth wile they weren’t looking. She raised her head and started chewing through the chains. “Wait! Stop!” Right as she bites through the last one they noticed. She leapt off the table and scurried outside looking for an escape. She immediately ran out into the middle of the village were everyone was staring at her. The dragonet was so small yet everyone that looked at her had murder glistening in their eyes. I got a new phone because my last phone had issues with everything… now I should be able to write longer stories! Yay 🥳 also the song that suits the Reaperwings the best is called: Plagues They are based off of Whitespikes which are aliens from the Tomorrow War Your next part should be in the lost continent Book! Best Wings of Fire Book yet!. This book is sooooo good. I think it’s Tui’s best book yet. I love how it shows Pyrrhia from the point of view of humans and I love how it fits perfectly with books 1 - 5. It makes everything more clear and it gives so much insight.

This is a very good Wings of Fire book!. I really LOVE this book it’s amazing. But ever since I’ve read it I was wondering if there would be a 2nd book to it.

Great Book!!!. The story line was great. But I didn’t like the way it switched to different characters all of a sudden, though the cliffhangers kept coming. The change of characters was confusing. Overall great book it is cool to see the world from a human point of view. Back then we only saw from the dragons. My favorite character(s) is Wren and Sky, they are are a great dynamic duo. (Undauntable is such a brat though)

Personality: smart, weird, has a brain disorder. Age: 50 Job: to help people get into the city. Short story. Bracken was normal. She lived in the Indestructible City orphanage which was perfectly fine. It kept her alive and far away from dragons. It was her sixteenth birthday and she was so excited. “It’s my birthday!” She cried. “Yay” groaned Lily. She was a big fat grumpy pants. Suddenly a Dragon like growl shot out of Bracken’s mouth. Then she turned into a dragon. What was going on? Ok tell me if you want anyone/anymore!

My review is a bit of a long one, you might want to sit down. First of all, i like the series a lot. I have been a big fan of the series since around the summer of 2018, and I don’t think this book makes a stain to Tui’s well rounded series. Here are a few nitpicks I have, and yes, there are spoilers, for both the main series and the two legends spinoff, so yeah. My first minor complaint is that the book doesn’t have a single point of perspective inside a dragon. Now this does sound pretty stupid, as that was the whole point of the book, as well as after reading the main series, you can fill in the blanks from some of the dragons the characters meet. However, I was somewhat disappointed when in the epilogue, it wasn’t freaking sky, but an unlikeable character who realizes the entire gimmick of a main character at the end of the book. I have another problem with the epilogue, but I’ll share that later. The second complaint is that the three main characters, Ivy, Leaf, and Wren don’t interact at all until the third part. While yes, they are all chasing their own, and different goals, two of the characters are related to each other, and they don’t interact in the book until the third part. This is an extra punch in the gut considering that the last Legends book, the three main characters, Darkstalker, Clearsight, and Fathom are interacting all together by the second part, and managed to learn of each other beforehand. My last complaint is with the epilogue. The main problem being, Tui decided to set up for a sequel, to a spinoff series. While it may be fine with other sources of media, like the amount of Mario Party games, but it doesn’t work as well with books. What if, for a hypothetical example, JK a Rowling makes a spinoff of Harry Potter set in America, and then made a sequel to said spinoff? Wait a minute. So overall, the books great, just not the best. The comments I made were mostly either nitpicks, or my own personal preference. So yeah, 4/5.

Don’t find it to be very good. •Introduces too many conflicts across multiple characters (Too many conflict’s for one book •being in the perspective of scavengers results in a fresh style for the series •using the perspective of different characters that are disconnected until the end means that the characters aren’t well fleshed out (Too many character perspectives in one book) •multiple conflicts mean they are there just to make specific decisions that explain parts of the main book and aren’t interesting (Plot and conflict’s aren’t centralized) •slight references you could easily miss are a nice touch for those that find them (some aren’t there to explain parts of the main series and are just entertaining to think about) •the book tries to span out over the contents of 5 book in 1 single book which leaves the characters, conflicts, and events almost no time to be shown and are just breezed right over (Too long of a time period for too short of a book) •some characters are very basic including vital characters to the plot •darkstalker is much better as in the same book length it explains a entire tribe along with a central character and minor details about other tribes showing that a book explaining part of the mains series can be very good just not this one

MAKE A PART 2!!!. I started reading wings of fire because my friend introduced it to me and I fell in love with the characters in book 1 and had so much fun with jade mountain and am really exited for book 14 but this not about that this is about DRAGONSLAYER it was amazing and not only that but I loved trying to piece together when something happened in the regular series. And not only that but something I’m not sure anyone noticed this but they probably did is that Sky is Peril’s brother who Kestral supposedly “killed” and when I figured this out I literally screamed so loud I’m pretty sure the neighbors heard but what I’m trying to say is the book was amazing please make a part 2! ❤️❤️❤️

♥️. All I have to say is that I love Tui and her amazing team & imagination. Although I like the point of view of humans, I kinda like the dragons stories of their lives better... my opinion! I can’t wait for book 14 to come out and I’LL WAIT AS LONG AS IT TAKES! You should be more than proud of your book series and career, and I was soooo shocked to learn that you had been on the Erin Hunter Seekers and Spirit Animals team!!! ( although I do like Erin hunters WARRIORS Series better than all of her others... But ERIN HUNTER and TUI are my most F A V authors!!! You betta keep it up! 😃
