Love this story. Lisa Renee Jones has written a great story about hope, love, and growing up. Roarke and Hannah’s story is very sweet and loving. They have known each other for years. Hannah has come back to Texas to start her life back over after leaving LA. Roarke is still in Sweetwater running the vet and taking care of the retired horses. There is family drama and Christmas all in this beautifully written story.

You will not disappointed!. I was so excited to read Roarke’s story. You will remember him from The Truth about Cowboys. He is Jason’s best friend. Roark is known as the horse wrangler but he wasn’t able to save his relationship with the only woman that he ever loved. She was the one that got away. He has tried to move on but just couldn’t seem to get over Hannah. Hannah moves back to Texas from LA. She had a great job as a photographer, but was caught up in a scandal her boss was in. She decided she wants to start her event planning business. After bumping into Roarke at the airport all these past feelings come again. She left Roarke and Texas and never thought she’d see him again. Circumstances have Hannah filling in for her friend doing a photo shoot. Well...Jason and Roarke are the reason for the shoot. She can’t believe it. She puts on her big girl panties and puts her feelings on hold. But she too, never could get over Roarke. Can these two find love once again?? Definitely pick up the book and read for yourself. It’s a second chance love book. You will not be disappointed. This can be read as a stand alone, but if you want a little more background on Roarke, I’d read A Truth about Cowboys.

Book 2 Rourke and Hannah. All Rourke has ever wanted for Christmas was Hannah. They were in engaged and she walked away.... and he didn’t follow her. Hannah walked away not knowing the whole story but she find herself back at Sweetwater. This was a great story and I hope Sweetwater Cowboys continues.

4.5 Stars!. Roarke made quite the impact in The Truth About Cowboys. He was such a good friend to Jason, helping him straighten up before he lost Jessica, and then add in a that he is a veterinarian who loves animals? How could you not love him. Roarke was everything I thought he would be in this book. I loved his character and I loved how he handled Hannah and the reason they were separated in the first place. All I could think about was Hannah is probably kicking herself for not standing by him. I know I would have been. We get some back in forth in the beginning of this because Hannah isn't willing to get past her hurt. Roarke wasn't willing to give up and made all that back and forth worth every minute. This was a great little holiday read with a beautiful ending. I wouldn't be opposed to more books in this world. I can name a few cowboys that need a story of their own.

I loved this swoon-worthy, charming, tender, heartwarming and wonderful story. Unable to put this down, until this story was over. Six years ago Hannah fled, leaving her best friend and fiancé Roarke behind, after she received a video of him with another woman. Now she has returned to Texas, after losing her dream job, when her famous boss is caught up in the “Me-Too” movement. Right in to the arms of her ex. Or at least it seems to be fates way of stepping in, since he seems to be everywhere she is. But when she is given a golden opportunity by his best friend, Jason Jenks, to help her new party planning business get off the ground with a Charity event in Sweetwater her hometown she is all in. History says Roarke Frost is all wrong for Hannah. But his kisses tell a different story. One of pure heat, passion, warmth, tenderness, and love. There is a desperate quality to him, a possessive need that is raw and real. Hannah can’t deny it or him. And Roarke is going to fight for Hannah. #Swoon-worthy. Because there are things she doesn’t know. Warning! The characters in this series are endearing, fun loving, and will capture your heart! Don’t miss It!!

Second Chance Romance. Lisa Renee Jones is one of my go to authors and she did not disappoint me. I loved this second chance romance. Roark was so sweet, and He and Hannah never got over each other. This book kept me hooked from start to finish.

Loved this book!. Let’s just start off with me saying that I could not wait for Roarke’s book. I am here to say that I loved his and Hannah’s book. We got to know Roarke as the horse whisper in The Truth About Cowboys, because he was Jason’s best friend. Roark did not disappoint. Hannah left her ex and Sweetwater behind seven years ago, but what will happen when she runs right into him. She knows the reason why she left, but does she know exactly what was going on in the picture of Roarke that caused her to leave? I loved that Roarke wasn’t willing to give up on Hannah and a second chance with her.

Tangled up in this heartwarming story!. I was tangled up into this second chance love story from the beginning, and I liked Hannah right away. Roarke has secrets, and it kept me reading pages until I could find out. When the secrets did come out, I loved that there wasn’t much angst about it! So refreshing! Roarke and Hannah have sizzling chemistry together, and I was rooting for them so hard! I felt Hannah’s pain about what she thinks Roarke did in the past, and I admired that she took the time to learn about herself while they were seperated. Roarke was such a genuinely good guy and trying to do the right thing, but he was hurt with how Hannah treated him in the past. They both had wounds that needed healing before they could truly be tangled together again and have their happily ever after. This was a heartwarming, second chance love story with a holiday theme that I would recommend. I received a copy of this ebook from the author for my honest review.

Love it. I couldn’t wait too read Roarke’s story and I wasn’t disappointed at all. If you love a good second chance romance read then you will love Roarke and Hannah’s story. Roarke is so sweet and genuine and will definitely become your next book boyfriend. Another amazing read and of course characters that you will love.

Tangled Up In Christmas. Tangled Up In Christmas is book 2 in The Texas Heat series by Lisa Renee Jones. This is Roarke and Hannah’s story and is a great second chance romance. This book is a little different from most of this authors books but she doesn’t disappoint. I loved this book and highly recommend it!!

Entertaining read. An entertaining, fun read. This is a follow up to the “Truth About Cowboys” book. Enjoy this horse whisperer story wound around Roarke and Hannah, a couple with a past. There is drama, misunderstandings, romance, stirred together with family lies and the requisite HEA. Also included in this book is the novella “Santa Baby”, another good read. Add this to your TBR list.

Love Roarke and Hannah!. I’m so glad Roarke got his story and I love he and Hannah together! Past-Young love lost. She ran. He didn’t follow. She didn’t trust him and he discovered truths that could destroy three families. Present-Their history is both good and bad. The secrets Roarke holds seem insurmountable. But their connection is undeniable and their passion ignited. But it’s so obvious that they’re still so deeply in love. The truth will come out and it can destroy the three families or it might just save them. I really enjoyed Entangled Christmas! Santa Baby was a nice addition to this holiday book and is completely 🔥🔥🔥🔥!!!

Ok Holiday Read. It's been a long time since I've read LRJ and this blurb made me snap up this holiday story but I just didn't connect with any of the characters. I loved the animal rescue, the small town vibe, and the holiday festival. There was a lot about this book that I couldn't get past: the, what seemed to me, dismissal of #MeToo and the insinuation that you should always forgive family regardless of their actions were two that I couldn't get over. I never connected to any of the characters- the main ones from this story and the one before it. I think I'll skip the rest of this series.

A bitter feud and a lot of misunderstandings have kept them apart for a lot of years, but now they finally have a chance to heal from all the past hurt. Roarke is everything the very best of book boyfriends are made of: noble, caring, and just so darned sweet. I hated all the conclusions Hannah kept jumping to, but I know how very easy it is to let insecurities control decisions. And before you know it, those decisions have landed you somewhere you never planned on going. I adored seeing this pair come back together. They so badly needed another chance, and their story is a perfect Christmas miracle. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through NetGalley.

It just felt like there was something missing from Hannah and Roarke’s connection. It seemed that every time they were just going to get into the heart oh why they split the first time, Roarke was called away for a sick animal. Hannah seemed to get over his cheating pretty quick after seeing him when it made her run far away When it happened.
