Abrupt cliffhanger ending. Ending made no sense. Came out of nowhere. Annoyed I didn’t realize this wasn’t a full story. Also, I seriously doubt the use of “anyways” by a grad student and someone with a professor. The use of this word is a pet peeve of mine, but especially when used by characters that probably wouldn’t ever add an unnecessary s to a word without it being ironic.

It’s one of three. I liked the book but am so tired of these different authors doing these three part books. It’s such an irritation. I am not spending more money on more books to get to the end. Just wasn’t that good to want to pay for more.

Beauty and the Professor 🤓. Romantic, full of ups and down but captivating yourself, well written and educational about historical facts!!!!!!!! 📖👀👵🏻👵🏻👍📚📖📚👀Recommended.

Steamy. A steamy and modern tale of The Beauty and the Beast. Blake is an ex-soldier trying to get his life back together after being injured in the war. Erin is the college student who cleans his house to pay for her expenses. They faced many obstacles in trying to be together. This older man/younger woman, professor/student story was fast paced. It was good reading and I really enjoyed it. The book does end in a cliffhanger. Review copy was received for a honest opinion.

Forbidden Goodness!!. Erin cleans Blake’s house for him. She has a crush on him. He is a scarred, yet sexy older man. When she walks in on him in a compromising position they are both horrified yet intrigued. A sexy, dark romance. Blake is recovering from his time in the service. With visible and the not so visible scars he feels unlovable. Erin sees the strength of his character. The book is part one and ends at the perfect stopping point. Wonderfully written and beautifully dark.

Cliff hanger!. Please tell me there is more!!! I loved this book.

Raw Real Beautiful. Wow! What a sizzling opening! I was hooked from the very first page and it just kept going. I could barely keep up. My kindle almost caught fire! This story is so raw and beautiful. So real, so emotional and intense that I couldn’t put it down. I was like a zombie and read it all in one sitting... and then there was a twist I didn’t see coming! I adore Blake and Erin so much and the ending just about killed me!! I can’t wait to read more of them!

Review: Modern Fairy Tale Duet 1: Beauty & the Professor. Beauty and the Professor by Skye Warren is the first book in her Modern Fairy Tale Duet. A sexy, steamy modern re-telling of Beauty and the Beast. Erin is a grad student on scholarship and loans and working her way through the expenses by cleaning in her free time. Her favorite job, by far, is her twice a week visit to the reclusive Blake Morris. A wounded vet and one-time professor, he was badly burned in his last tour and has made himself a recluse as a result. But when Erin sees Blake she sees the whole man, not just a man with scars. Blake has no need of having his house cleaned twice a week but the company that Erin provides is addictive. So if he has to pay her to be there, so be it. But when Erin witnesses something he wishes she hadn't he is wiling to let her go, but despite everything, it just pulls her in and they begin their affair with no idea what troubles lay ahead. Well-written and well-paced and filled with steamy, sexy encounters the story held it's own amidst the various smoking hot scenes between Erin & Blake. Loved it - will definitely be finishing this duet with book two, Falling for the Beast as soon as possible. Enjoy!

Giod. It’s was good. I struggled trying to tell who said what, but I loved the story.

Erin might be the one to show Blake just how beautiful he really is inside and out! Get him to work and live again but when people from his past try to interfere can they overcome it all? This is a sexy modern retelling of beauty and the beast and I really enjoyed reading this book. Ends in a Cliffhanger

A Fairy Tale. I hate books that don’t tell you up front that it is only Part 1 and if you want to find out what happens you need to buy the rest of the book/s in the series. That said I enjoyed this story and will without doubt buy the next one.

Incomplete.... ...and not tempted to continue reading :P Steamy sex scenes but predictable, soap-opera-like storyline.

Not good. The story moved too fast without developing any mutual chemistry with the characters. It was all sex, and the decisions and conflicts were outrageous. I was disappointed at the end.

Just don’t. This book is terribly written. Still hot at points but mostly just bad.
